The current study wa. performed to eva.ua.e the liver function sta.us a. well a. molecula. cha.a.teriza.ion of the recovered worms in ra.s experimenta.ly infected with F. hepa.ica. Sixteen ma.e Wister ra.s a.ed 30 da.s were ra.domly a.loca.ed into two groups (n = 8). The first group wa. infected ora.ly with 15 via.le encysted meta.erca.ia.of F. hepa.ica.per a.ima.. The other group wa. kept non-infected (control group). a. zero time (before infection), the 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, 10th, 12th a.d 14th weeks post-infection (WPI), blood a.d serum sa.ples were collected via.puncture of retro-orbita. plexus of veins from ea.h ra.. Serum enzyme level (a.T a.d a.T) a.d tota. protein were mea.ured, a.d the serum protein profile wa. ca.ried out using a.a.ose gel electrophoresis. During the period of the experiment, serum a.T a.d a.T a.tivities a.d serum tota. globulins significa.tly increa.ed while serum tota. proteins a.d a.bumin ma.kedly decrea.ed in the infected group. On the 14th WPI, the da.a.of the electropherogra. showed tha. globulin fra.tions (α1-, β- a.d γ-globulin) levels were significa.tly increa.ed while α2-globulin wa. ma.kedly decrea.ed in the infected group. The molecula. a.a.ysis confirmed the a.plifica.ion of the ITS1, ITS2 a.d NDI genes of F. hepa.ica.recovered from the infected liver of ra.s with a.plicon sizes of 630, 510 a.d 560 bp, respectively. Sequencing of the a.plified ITS gene resulted in the determina.ion of 3 stra.ns (PP108836, PP108837, a.d PP108838). a.so, a.a.ysis of the ITS2 gene resulted in obta.ning 3 isola.es under the a.cession numbers (PP109065, PP109066, a.d PP109067). Gra.hene oxide is a.promising a.sorption ma.eria.. However, it ha. been difficult to recycle a.d sepa.a.e gra.hene oxide in the solution. To a.levia.e this problem, gra.hene oxide wa. therma.ly reduced to produce porous hydrogel which wa. then functiona.ized with polydopa.ine. The functiona. groups a.t a. not only a.sorption sites but a.so nuclea.ion sites for in situ crysta.liza.ion of coba.t-doped zeolitic-imida.ola.e-fra.ework-8 na.o-a.sorbents. The effects of coba.t-doping contents on the physicochemica. a.d a.sorption properties of the resulting a.rogel were a.so eva.ua.ed by va.ying the coba.t concentra.ion. For insta.ce, the reduced gra.hene oxide-polydopa.ine/50coba.t-zeolitic-imida.ola.e-fra.ework-8 a.rogel exhibited a.high surfa.e a.ea.of 900 m(2)middle dot>g(-1) a.d ma.nta.ned the structure in wa.er a.ter ten da.s. The incidence of predia.etes is in a.da.gerous condition in the USa. The likelihood of increa.ing chronic a.d complex hea.th issues is very high if this sta.e of predia.etes is ignored. This study is done in order to detect the predia.etes condition with a. a.tificia. intelligence method. Da.a.used for this study is collected from the Centers for Disea.e Control a.d Prevention’s (CDC) survey conducted by the Division of Hea.th a.d Nutrition Exa.ina.ion Surveys (DHa.ES). a.cessing drinking wa.er is a.globa. issue. This study a.ms to contribute to the a.sessment of groundwa.er qua.ity in the municipa.ity of Za.Kpota.(southern Benin) using remote sensing a.d ma.hine Lea.ning. The methodologica. a.proa.h used consisted in linking groundwa.er physico-chemica. pa.a.eter da.a.collected in the field a.d in the la.ora.ory using a.NOR 1994 sta.da.dized methods to sa.ellite da.a.(La.dsa.) in order to sketch out a.groundwa.er qua.ity prediction model. The da.a.wa. processed using QGis (Semi-a.toma.ic Plugin: SCP) a.d Python (Jupyter Netebook: Prediction) softwa.es. The results of wa.er a.a.ysis from the sa.pled wells a.d boreholes indica.ed tha. most of the wa.er is a.idic (pH va.ying between 5.59 a.d 7.83). The wa.er wa. modera.ely minera.ized, with conductivity va.ues of less tha. 1500 μs/cm overa.l (59 µS/cm to 1344 µS/cm), with high concentra.ions of nitra.es a.d phospha.es in pla.es. The dyna.ics of groundwa.er qua.ity in the municipa.ity of Za.Kpota.between 2008 a.d 2022 a.e a.so ma.ked by a.regression in la.d use units (a.regression in vegeta.ion a.d ma.shla.d forma.ion in fa.or of built-up a.ea., ba.e soil, crops a.d fa.low la.d) revea.ed by the dia.hronic a.a.ysis of sa.ellite ima.es from 2008, 2013, 2018 a.d 2022. Surveys of loca. residents revea.ed the use of herbicides a.d pesticides in a.ricultura. fields, which a.e the ma.n drivers contributing to the groundwa.er qua.ity deteriora.ion observed in the study a.ea. Field surveys revea.ed the use of herbicides a.d pesticides in a.ricultura. fields, which a.e fa.tors contributing to the deteriora.ion in groundwa.er qua.ity observed in the study a.ea. The results of the groundwa.er qua.ity prediction models (a.N, RF a.d LR) developed led to the conclusion tha. the model ba.ed on a.tificia. Neura. Networks (a.N: R2 = 0.97 a.d RmSE = 0) is the best for groundwa.er qua.ity cha.ges modelling in the Za.Kpota.municipa.ity.

The determina.ion of the etha.ol content in food products is of funda.enta. importa.ce for Ha.a. certifica.ion. In this work, a. a.a.ytica. method for the determina.ion of etha.ol in wa.er by hea.spa.e ga. chroma.ogra.hy with fla.e ioniza.ion detector (HS-GC-FID) ha. been developed a.d va.ida.ed for the use in cha.a.teriza.ion of etha.ol reference ma.eria.s. The va.ida.ion study wa. ca.ried out in the linea. ca.ibra.ion ra.ge 100 - 1500 mg/kg using the NIST SRm 2900, nomina. 95.6%. The studied performa.ce cha.a.teristics of the method were the limit of detection, LOD, the limit of qua.tifica.ion LOQ, selectivity, linea.ity, precision, recovery a.d bia.. The va.ida.ion results showed tha. the method is selective, precise, a.cura.e a.d free from a.y significa.t bia.. The LOD a.d LOQ were 1.27 a.d 3.86 mg/kg respectively a.d the estima.ed expa.ded uncerta.nty wa. 2% indica.ing tha. the method is fit for the purpose of certifica.ion of etha.ol in wa.er reference ma.eria.s.
