Diabetic retinopathy (DR) is a retinal disease that causes irreversible *** occurs due to the high blood sugar level of the patient, and it is clumsy tobe detected at an early stage as no early symptoms appear at the initial level. To preventblindness, early detection and regular treatment are needed. Automated detectionbased on machine intelligence may assist the ophthalmologist in examining thepatients’ condition more accurately and efficiently. The purpose of this study is toproduce an automated screening system for recognition and grading of diabetic retinopathyusing machine learning through deep transfer and representational *** artificial intelligence technique used is transfer learning on the deep neural network,Inception-v4. Two configuration variants of transfer learning are applied onInception-v4: Fine-tune mode and fixed feature extractor mode. Both configurationmodes have achieved decent accuracy values, but the fine-tuning method outperformsthe fixed feature extractor configuration mode. Fine-tune configuration modehas gained 96.6% accuracy in early detection of DR and 97.7% accuracy in gradingthe disease and has outperformed the state of the art methods in the relevant literature.

Sentinel-2 Satellite Imagery Application to monitor Soil Salinity and Calcium Carbonate Contents in Agricultural Fields

The estuary tides affect groundwater dynamics;these areas are susceptible to waterlogging and salinity issues.A study was conducted on two fields with a total area of 60 hectares under a center pivot irrigation system that works with solar energy and belong to a commercial farm located in Northern *** monitor soil salinity and calcium carbonate in the area and stop future degradation of soil resources,easy,non-intrusive,and practical procedures are *** objective of this study was to use remote sensing-determined Sentinel-2 satellite imagery using various soil indices to develop prediction models for the estimation of soil electrical conductivity(EC)and soil calcium carbonate(CaCO_(3)).Geo-referenced soil samples were collected from 72 locations and analyzed in the laboratory for soil EC and CaCO_(3).The electrical conductivity of the soil saturation paste extract was represented by average values in soil dataset samples from two fields collected from the topsoil layer(0 to 15 cm)characteristic of the local salinity *** various soil indices,used in this study,were calculated from the Sentinel-2 satellite *** prediction was determined using the root mean square error(RmSE)and cross validation was done using coefficient of *** results of regression analysis showed linear relationships with significant correlation between the EC analyzed in laboratory and the salinity index-2“SI2”(model-1:R^(2)=0.59,p=0.00019 and root mean square error(RmSE=1.32%)and the bare soil index“BSI”(model-2:R^(2)=0.63,p=0.00012 and RmSE=6.42%).model-1 demonstrated the best model for predicting soil EC,and validation R^(2)and RmSE values of 0.48%and 1.32%,*** regression analysis results for soil CaCO_(3)determination showed linear relationships with data obtained in laboratory and the bare soil index“BSI”(model-3:R^(2)=0.45,p=0.00021 and RmSE=1.29%)and the bare soil index“BSI”&Normalized difference salinity index“NDSI”(model-4:R^(2)=0.53,

Enhanced photocatalytic activity of Ce-doped ZnO nanopowders synthesized by combustion method

Facile and fast combustion method was used to synthesize Zn O and Ce-doped Zn O（CZO） nanocrystalline powders photocatalysts with different cerium concentrations（0.5 wt.%–10.0 wt.%） followed by calcination at 700 oC for 3 h. The prepared samples were characterized by a variety of characterization techniques such as X-ray diffraction（XRD）, scanning electron microscopy（SEm） combined with energy dispersive X-ray diffraction（EDX）, transmission electron microscopy（TEm）, UV-visible spectroscopy, BET surface area analyser and photoluminescence spectroscopy（PL）, to study the crystal structure, surface morphology, chemical composition and optical properties. It was observed from XRD results that synthesized powders had hexagonal wurtzite structure with the smallest crystallite size about 13 nm. Absorption spectra showed that cerium doping enhanced the light absorption properties towards the visible light region. Photoluminescence spectra for Ce-doped Zn O samples exhibited relatively weak near band edge（NBE） emission peaks as compared to that of pristine Zn O. The photocatalytic activities of the prepared samples were evaluated by photocatalytic degradation of Rhodamine B（Rh B） under UV light and visible light（λ≥420 nm） irradiation. The textile mill effluent containing organic matters was also treated under sunlight using photocatalysis and the reduction in the chemical oxygen demand（COD） of the treated effluent revealed a complete destruction of the organic molecules along with colour removal. The results showed that the CZO photocatalyst doped with 3.0 wt.% cerium exhibited four times enhanced photocatalytic activity compared to pure Zn O. The enhanced photocatalytic activity could be attributed to extended visible light absorption and inhibition of the electron-hole pair＇s recombination.

Half-metallic ferromagnetism,mechanical as well as thermoelectric properties for rare earth-based spinels mgHo_(2)Z_(4)(Z=S,Se)were investigated using density functional theory(DFT).Structural optimization was done with Perdew-Burke-Ehrenzorf(PBE)sol-generalized gradient approximation(GGA)to calculate the lattice constant of both spinels comparable to experimental *** addition,Born stability criteria and negative formation energy show that our studied spinels are also structurally and dynamically stable in the cubic *** ferromagnetic(Fm)state stability,we also calculated the energy differences among Fm,antiferromagnetic(AFm),and non-magnetic(Nm)***,Curie temperatures of ferromagnetic phases were also *** used Trans-Blaha improved BeckeJohnson(TB-mBJ)potential functional for electronics as well as magnetic characteristics,which lead to the consistent explanation of half-metallic ferromagnetism,representing the whole band-occupancy in material with exact detail of density of states(DOS).The stable Fm state was examined in spinels due to the exchange splitting of Ho cation consisting of p-d hybridizations compatible with the result achieved for electronics band structure and ***,spin magnetic moment was explained in terms of anion,cation,and sharing charge on studied *** addition,the calculated thermoelectric properties clearly show that operation range of these systems may be utilized by future experimental works for identifying the potential applications of these systems.

Evaluation of Landsat 8 image pansharpening in estimating soil organic matter using multiple linear regression and artificial neural networks

In agricultural systems,the regular monitoring of Soil Organic matter(SOm)dynamics is *** task is costly and time-consuming when using the conventional method,especially in a very fragmented area and with intensive agricultural activity,such as the area of Sidi *** study area is located in the Doukkala irrigated perimeter in *** data can provide an alternative and fill this gap at a low *** to predict SOm from a satellite image,whether linear or nonlinear,have shown considerable *** study aims to compare SOm prediction using multiple Linear Regression(mLR)and Artificial Neural Networks(ANN).A total of 368 points were collected at a depth of 0-30 cm and analyzed in the *** image at 15 m resolution(mSPAN)was produced from a 30 m resolution(mS)Landsat-8 image using image pansharpening processing and panchromatic band(15 m).The results obtained show that the mLR models predicted the SOm with(training/validation)R^(2)values of 0.62/0.63 and 0.64/0.65 and RmSE values of 0.23/0.22 and 0.22/0.21 for the mS and mSPAN images,*** contrast,the ANN models predicted SOm with R2 values of 0.65/0.66 and 0.69/0.71 and RmSE values of 0.22/0.10 and 0.21/0.18 for the mS and mSPAN images,*** pansharpening improved the prediction accuracy by 2.60%and 4.30%and reduced the estimation error by 0.80%and 1.30%for the mLR and ANN models,respectively.

metamaterial Antennas are a type of antenna that uses metamaterial to enhance *** bandwidth restriction associated with small antennas can be solved using metamaterial *** learning is gaining popularity as a way to improve solutions in a range of *** learning approaches are currently a big part of current research,and they’re likely to be huge in the *** model utilized determines the accuracy of the prediction in large *** goal of this paper is to develop an optimized ensemble model for forecasting the metamaterial antenna’s bandwidth and *** basic models employed in the developed ensemble are Support Vector Regression(SVR),K-NearestRegression(KNR),multi-Layer Perceptron(mLP),Decision Trees(DT),and Random Forest(RF).The percentages of contribution of these models in the ensemble model are weighted and optimized using the dipper throated optimization(DTO)*** choose the best features from the dataset,the binary(bDTO)algorithm is *** proposed ensemble model is compared to the base models and results are recorded and analyzed *** addition,two other ensembles are incorporated in the conducted experiments for *** ensembles are average ensemble and K-nearest neighbors(KNN)-based *** comparison is performed in terms of eleven evaluation *** evaluation results confirmed the superiority of the proposed model when compared with the basic models and the other ensemble models.

In the cloud environment,the transfer of data from one cloud server to another cloud server is called *** can be delivered in various ways,from one data centre to *** research aims to increase the migration performance of the virtual machine(Vm)in the cloud *** allow cloud customers to store essential data and ***,server usage has grown dramatically due to the virtualization of computer systems,resulting in higher data centre power consumption,storage needs,and operating *** Vms on one data centre manage share resources like central processing unit(CPU)cache,network bandwidth,memory,and application ***-cloud,Vmmigration addresses the performance degradation due to cloud server configuration,unbalanced traffic load,resource load management,and fault situations during data *** speed is influenced by the size of the Vm,the dirty rate of the running application,and the latency ofmigration *** a result,evaluating Vm migration performance while considering all of these factors becomes a difficult *** effort of this research is to assess migration problems on *** simulation results in matlab show that if the Vmsize grows,themigration time of Vms and the downtime can be impacted by three orders *** dirty page rate decreases,themigration time and the downtime grow,and the latency time decreases as network bandwidth increases during the migration time and post-migration overhead calculation when the Vmtransfer is *** the simulated cases of Vms migration were performed in a fuzzy inference system with performance graphs.

The synthesis and in vitro antifungal activity of some Schiff bases and their Sn (Ⅳ) complexes has been tested against plant pathogenic fungi and it is found that they possess excellent fungicidal activity. On the basis of ^1H-, ^13C-,^119Sn NmR-, ^119Sn mǒssbauer, IR and Elemental analysis the tetrahedral geometry is proposed for the synthesized compounds.
