Internet of Things(IoT)is a key technology trend that supports our digitalized society in applications such as smart countries and smart *** this study,we investigate the existing strategic themes,thematic evolution structure,key challenges,and potential research opportunities associated with the *** this study,we conduct a Bibliometric Performance and Network Analysis(BPNA),supplemented by an exhaustive Systematic Literature Review(SLR).Specifically,in BPNA,the software ScimAT is used to analyze 14,385 documents and 30,381 keywords in the Web of Science(WoS)database,which was released between 2002 and *** results reveal that 31 clusters are classified according to their importance and development,and the conceptual structures of key clusters are presented,along with their performance analysis and the relationship with other *** thematic evolution structure describes the important cluster(s)over *** the SLR,23 documents are *** SLR reveals key challenges and limitations associated with the *** expect the results will form the basis of future research and guide decision-making in the IoT and other supporting industries.

The Effects of Rearing Temperature on American Glass Eels

American eels are declining throughout their range requiring a better understanding of physiological requirements of all life stages and optimal conditions for laboratory rearing and aquaculture. American glass eels (Anguilla rostrata) were housed for 3 weeks at 14°C, 18°C, 22°C, or 26°C to determine optimal juvenile rearing temperature in the laboratory. All treatments exhibited weight gain over the course of the study except the 14°C treatment;however, there were only marginal differences in final weight between the 18°C and 14°C treatments and no differences in length. Variation in length and weight generally increased as temperature increased with significant differences in the standard error of weight between 14°C and the 22°C and 26°C treatments and between 18°C and 26°C. mortality was significantly greater than expected by chance at 26°C?(7 deaths) and no mortality was observed at 14°C. Body condition (based on the residuals from the weight-length relationships), conversely, was lowest in the 14°C treatment. Considering all response variables, optimal laboratory rearing conditions were observed between 18°C - 22°C. Within a week of experimentation, evidence of gas bubble disease was observed and by completion noted in all treatments except at 14°C, likely as a function of decreased gas solubility at warmer temperatures. Levels of total gas pressure (103% - 108%) and Δp (28 - 54 mm Hg) values may account for the gas bubbles observed.

Forest sustainability is the foundation of forestry and modern forest management. Originally the central concept was sustained-yield and maximum timber production and then multiple-use and other non-timber values gained importance. After the Rio Conference and development of the montréal Process in the early 1990’s, forest sustainability rapidly gained importance and various forest certification schemes developed to certify forest products that were grown using sustainable forest management. Forest sustainability and forest certification have become critical topics in forestry curricula. The American Tree Farm System is one of the important North American forest certification organizations. modern forestry curricula often include a capstone course where forest management plans are developed. We describe a capstone course at Clemson University under development that uses the management standards and management plan template of the American Tree Farm System as a framework for students to develop actual forest management plans for local forest owners. The material is integrated into a series of four courses leading up to the capstone course. The course offered a hands-on approach for students to create management plans using actual certification standards and the system’s management plan template. In addition, students received specialized training to qualify as auditors for the certification system. This is an example of forest sustainability being integrated into the forestry curriculum.

Nickel hydroxide was used as the positive electrode material in rechargeable alkaline batteries, which plays a significant role in the field of electric energy storage devices. β-nickel hydroxide（β-Ni（OH）2 ） was prepared from nickel sulphate solution using potassium hydroxide as a precipitating agent. Pure β-phase of nickel hydroxide was confirmed from XRD and FT-IR studies. The effects of TiO2 additive on the β-Ni（OH）2 electrode performance are examined. The structure and property of the TiO2 added β-Ni（OH）2 were characterized by XRD, TG-DTA and SEm analysis. A pasted–type electrode is prepared using nickel hydroxide powder as the main active material on a nickel sheet as a current collector. Cyclic voltammetry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy studies were performed to evaluate the electrochemical performance of the β-Ni（OH）2 and TiO2 added β-Ni（OH）2 electrodes in 6 m KOH electrolyte. Anodic（Epa） and cathodic（Epc）peak potentials are found to decrease after the addition of TiO 2 into β-Ni（OH）2 electrode material. Further,addition of TiO2 is found to enhance the reversibility of the electrode reaction and also increase the separation of the oxidation current peak of the active material from the oxygen evolution current. Compared with pure β-Ni（OH）2 lectrode,TiO2 added β-Ni（OH）2 electrode is found to exhibit higher proton diffusion coefficient（D） and lower charge transfer resistance. These findings suggest that the TiO2 added β-Ni（OH）2 electrode possess improved electrochemical properties and thus can be recognized as a promising candidate for the battery electrode applications.
