在美国〈65岁的人群中,包括无症状的个体在内,每年有超过15万的心血管事件发生。冠状动脉钙化（coronary artery calcium,CAC）是冠状动脉疾病（coronary artery disease,CAD）的亚临床指标,可提高无症状个体的危险分层。该研究旨在评估农村人口的CAC发生率,确定CAD传统危险因素和CAC评分之间的相关性。方法：2011年1月至2012年12月，研究人员对来自阿巴拉契亚中部地区无症状个体的CAC情况进行筛查，根据Agatston钙化评分将受试者分为4种CAC水平：无（CAC=0），轻度（CAC=1～99），中度（CAC=100～399）和重度（CAC≥400）。

目的:采用凝胶分离、高效液相色谱/质谱联用技术对不同代数的永生化支气管上皮细胞加以研究,说明不同代数导致的蛋白质分布变化。方法:实验在大连化学物理研究所生物技术部生物分子高效分离与表征实验室完成。实验所用的样品mP49和mP188来自中国医学科学院,由程书钧院士友情提供。m细胞是中国医学科学院自行建立的永生化支气管上皮细胞系的第49代和188代,利用该实验室配制的无血清培养基进行常规细胞培养,收集培养液。采用凝胶分离、高效液相色谱/质谱联用技术对分泌到培养液中的分泌蛋白质进行特征分析。结果:mP49的蛋白的相对分子质量分布较广,几乎在10000～100000范围内都有蛋白质分布;mP188的蛋白主要集中在高分子量范围和低分子量范围内(mr>60000,mP49酶解产物中疏水性肽明显多于mP188。结论:在支气管上皮的恶性演变过程中寻找可能的癌症早期诊断蛋白质标记物,从亲水性较强的高分子量或低分子量蛋白质入手可能会得到更好的结果。

A study was conducted to test the influence of different inorganic fertilizers （phosphorous and potassium） on the nodulation and growth of Dalbergia sissoo grown in the nursery. Before seeds sowing, different combinations of P, K fertilizers were incorporated with the nutrient-deficient natural forest soils, and then amended with cowdung （soil： cowdung = 3：1）. nodulation status （nodule number, shape, fresh weight, dry weight and color） in the roots and the plant growth parameters （length of shoot and root, collar diameter, fresh and dry weight of shoot and root） were recorded 60 days after seeds sowing. nodulation status and growth of the plants varied significantly （P〈0.05） in the soils amended with fertilizers in comparison to the control. The highest nodule number （62）, fresh （0.50 g） and dry （0.07 g） weights were recorded with the dose of PK at the rate of 160 kg/hm2. nodule shape and color also varied widely in different treatments. In case of plant growth parameters, shoot and root length, collar diameter, fresh and dry weight of the plants took on a significant difference （P〈0.05） among various combination of fertilizers. From the study, it is revealed that PK at the rate of 160 kg/hm^2 fertilizer with soil and cowdung mixture （soil： eowdung = 3：1） is recommended for optimum growth and nodule formation of D. sissoo in degraded soils at a nursery level.

An explanatory survey was conducted to assess the contribution of plant diversity to the ecological and socio-economic condition of the rural household in the offshore island of Bangladesh. Assessment was done by means of multistage random sampling. The homestead sizes of the study area were classified into 3 groups viz, large （〉0.25 ha）, medium （0.05-0.25 ha） and small （〈0.05 ha） based on the result obtained from a preliminary survey, and a total of 45 homesteads, 15 from each group, were selected randomly for the study. The average annual income from homestead＇s plant diversity varied from Tk 5730.00 （US$95.5） to Tk 17500.00 （US$291.67）. The rural people were mainly dependent on their homegarden for woodfuel and nutritional requirement as forest was unavailable in the island. The rural people here also cultivated the plant species as a safety measure from frequent cyclone. Constraints hindering the development of homestead plantation were identified and suggestions were given such as the adequate supply of seedlings of fast growing native species and conservation of endangered species to meet the demand of the household as well as to keep ecological balance.

The organic carbon storage in trees and organic carbon flow with geoposition of trees was estimated in the forest area of Chittagong （South） Forest Division within geo-position 91°47′ and 92°15′ East longitude and 21°45′ and 22°30′ north latitude. The study was conducted through stratified random sampling by identifying each sampling point through Global Positioning System （GPS）. It was found that above ground organic carbon storage （t/hm^2）, below ground organic carbon （t/hm^2） and total biomass organic carbon （t/hm^2） was respectively the highest in Dipterocarpus turbinatus （Garjan）（7.9, 1.18 and 9.08 t/hm^2） followed by Tectona grandis （Teak）（5.66, 0.85 and 6.51 t/hm^2）, Artocarpus chaplasha （Chapalish）（2.32, 0.34 and 2.66 t/hm^2）, Artocarpus lacucha （Batta）（1.97, 0.29 and 2.26 t/hm^2） and Artocarpus heterophyllus （Jackfruit）（1.7,0.25 and 2.26 t/hm^2）. From the study it was revealed that organic carbon stock was the highest （142.7 t/hm^2） in the geo-position 22° Latitude and 92° Longitude and was the lowest （4.42 t/hm^2） in the geo-position 21° 50′ Latitude and 92° 2.5′ Longitude. The forest of the study area is a good reservoir of organic carbon so has a good capacity to sequester organic carbon from the atmosphere. Sustainable forest management may help to sequester more organic carbon so that economic benefit for the country and environmental benefit in the international arena are possible from the study area.

Precipitation and temperature are the most abiotic factors that greatly impact the yield of crop,particularly in ***,as the main cereal is predominantly cultivated in dryland and the livelihood of smallholders depends on the production of this crop,particularly in arid and semi-arid *** study aimed to investigate the response of the grain yield of dryland barley to temperature and precipitation variations at annual,seasonal and monthly scales in seven counties of East and West Azerbaijan provinces in northwestern Iran during *** index(HI)was calculated and its relationship with dryland barley yield was evaluated at annual and monthly *** results showed that the minimum,maximum and mean temperatures increased by 0.19℃/a,0.11℃/a and 0.10℃/a,respectively,while annual precipitation decreased by 0.80 mm/a during *** in study area has become drier by 0.22/a in annual HI during the study *** effects of increasing temperature on the grain yield of dryland barley were more severe than the positive effects of increasing ***,weather variations in April and may were related more to the grain yield of dryland barley than those in other *** grain yield of dryland barley was more drastically affected by the variation of annual minimum temperature comparing with other weather ***,our findings illustrated that the grain yield of dryland barley increased by 0.01 t/hm^(2) for each unit increase in annual HI during ***,any increase in the monthly HI led to crop yield improvement in the study area,particularly in the drier counties,i.e.,myaneh,Tabriz and Khoy in Iran.

The natural regeneration of the tree species in pure natural forest stand and enrichment plantations of Baraitali Forest of Chittagong (South) Forest Division, Bangladesh was studied by stratified random quadrat method during April 2002 to november 2002. Totally 100 plots of 3 m X 3 m in size represents a total of 64 regenerating tree species from natural forest with an average seedlings of 24767/hm2, while only 40 regenerating tree species were recorded from enrichment plan-tations with an average seedlings of 18633/hm2. maximum regeneration in natural forest was found with Castanopsis spp. (2200 seedlings/hm2) followed by Glochidion lanceolarium (2183 /hm2) whereas, in enrichment plantations maximum regen-eration was found with Dipterocarpus gracilis (2117/hm2) followed by Anogeissus acuminata (2000/hm2). For natural forest, highest relative density was found for Castanopsis spp (8.88%), relative frequency for Glochidion lanceolarium (7.36%), rela-tive abundance for Syzygium spp. (3.79%) and Importance Value Index were recorded with Glochidion lanceolarium (18.24%). The corresponding values for enrichment plantations were highest with Dipterocarpus gracilis (11.36%), Glochidion lanceo-larium (9.71%), Dipterocarpus gracilis (5.92%), Glochidion lanceolarium (23.32%) respectively. Stem per hectare of some common trees with their seedlings and saplings in both the natural stands and enrichment plantations showed that only Dip-terocarpus gracilis successfully recruited in both sites but recruitment was higher in natural forest. Like many other primary rain forests, the Baraitoli forest typically has both substantial seedlings and soil seed bank from which regeneration may occur. The naturally regenerated seedlings are quite dense but it could not reach the pole stage due to human interference.

The structural diversity of different tree-crop associations were studied at Gachabari Sal forest area of madhupur Garh on Buffer and Peripheral Zone during 2006. The total density, basal area of trees in the Buffer and Peripheral Zone were 155.5 trees·hm^(-2), 795.4 trees·hm^(-2) and 3.9 m2·hm-2, 5.8 m^2·hm^(-2), respectively. no regeneration and natural trees were found in Peripheral Zone and the Zone is totally occupied by exotic species where the Buffer Zone comprised of both natural and exotic trees. The Peripheral Zone belonged to younger and smaller trees whereas the Buffer Zone belonged to mixture of smaller, taller, younger and mature trees simultaneously. For the practicing of different agroforestry systems both Zones have lost their original characters of Sal forest.
