DNBP-CCA:A Novel Approach to Enhancing Heterogeneous Data Traffic and reliable Data Transmission for Body Area Network

The increased adoption of Internet of medical Things (IomT) technologies has resulted in the widespread use ofBody Area Networks (BANs) in medical and non-medical domains. However, the performance of IEEE 802.15.4-based BANs is impacted by challenges related to heterogeneous data traffic requirements among nodes, includingcontention during finite backoff periods, association delays, and traffic channel access through clear channelassessment (CCA) algorithms. These challenges lead to increased packet collisions, queuing delays, retransmissions,and the neglect of critical traffic, thereby hindering performance indicators such as throughput, packet deliveryratio, packet drop rate, and packet delay. Therefore, we propose Dynamic Next Backoff Period and Clear ChannelAssessment (DNBP-CCA) schemes to address these issues. The DNBP-CCA schemes leverage a combination ofthe Dynamic Next Backoff Period (DNBP) scheme and the Dynamic Next Clear Channel Assessment (DNCCA)scheme. The DNBP scheme employs a fuzzy Takagi, Sugeno, and Kang (TSK) model’s inference system toquantitatively analyze backoff exponent, channel clearance, collision ratio, and data rate as input parameters. Onthe other hand, the DNCCA scheme dynamically adapts the CCA process based on requested data transmission tothe coordinator, considering input parameters such as buffer status ratio and acknowledgement ratio. As a result,simulations demonstrate that our proposed schemes are better than some existing representative approaches andenhance data transmission, reduce node collisions, improve average throughput, and packet delivery ratio, anddecrease average packet drop rate and packet delay.

Effect of magnesium and nickel coatings on the wetting behavior of alumina toughened zirconia by molten Al-mg alloy

The wettability of alumina toughened zirconia （ZTA） by Al-mg alloy was investigated using the sessile drop technique. The ef fects of nickel coating, magnesium content, nitrogen atmosphere, and processing temperature on the contact angle between the molten alloy and the substrate were determined. Likewise, the effect of these factors on the wetting properties was studied. The results showed that the nickel coating on the ceramic substrate caused a significant reduction in solid/liquid surface energy and the contact angle decreased obvi- ously. The presence of magnesium in the molten aluminum alloy in nitrogen atmosphere reduced the contact angle effectively. The presence of magnesium in the alloy must be at a minimum amount of 2wt%-3wt% . moreover, it was suggested that some chemical reactions in the Al-mg-N system led to the production of mg3N2 and AlN compositions. These compositions improved the wetting properties of the systems by reducing the surface energy of the molten. It was shown that increasing the temperature is also an effective factor for the enhancement of wetting properties.

The Effects of Zinc Sulfate on the in Vitro Digestibility of Feeds in Cervids

The captive white-tailed deer industry has an estimated impact of 1.6 billion USD in the state of Texas alone. However, nutritional requirements for cervids are determined through research based on sheep and goats. The objective of this study was to determine the effects of zinc on differences in dry matter digestibility in vitro for white-tailed does (Odocoileus virginianus). Deer (n = 2) were ethically harvested, rumens were collected, and placed into a cooler containing warm water. rumen contents were agitated, and fluid was filtered using cheese cloth while applying CO2. Fluid was placed into four separate incubator jars with filter bags containing a 1:1 alfalfa to coastal hay blend. Zinc doses of 0.073 mg/kg/d equivalents were added to two of the jars ( Zn), and the additional two jars received 0.00 mg/kg/d (CON). Following 48 h of incubation, in vitro true digestibility (IVTD) showed no significant differences between the control and the treatment groups. Average dry matter digested in vitro was 91.87% and 95.13%, respectively. There were no differences detected in ADF, NDF, IVTD, or om between the treatment groups. While no detectable differences were observed in this study, this methodology did prove to be viable and functional for microbial digestion in vitro. This study can be replicated with multiple experimental units to confirm the observations of increased digestibility. Formal nutritional guidelines can be created to allow for more efficient feeding of cervids thereby reducing feed costs and continuing the growth of the captive deer industry.

Synthesis, Characterization and X-ray Structure of N-(4-bromobutanoyl-N'-(2-3-and 4-methylphenyl)thiourea

N-4-（bromobutanoyl）-N＇-（o-, m- and p-tolyl）thioureas 3a, 3b and 3c respectively, were synthesized by the reaction of 4-bromobutanoylisothiocyanate with p-, m- and o-toludine. The products were characterized by Ir, and Nmr spectroscopic techniques. The two carbonoylthiourea isom.rs N-（4-bromobutanoyl）-N＇-（3-methylphenyl）thiourea （3b） and N-（4-bromobutanoyl）-N＇-（4- methylphenyl）thiourea （3c） were obtained in crystalline form by recrystallization from DmSO. X- ray crystallographic studies showed that both compounds 3b and 3c crystallize in triclinic system with space group ofPi. The molecules adopt trans-cis configuration with respect to the positions of 4-bromobutanoyl and tolyl groups respectively, against the thiono C=S bond across their C-N bonds The configuration is attributed by the intrahydrogen bond between the carbonyl oxygen and amide hydrogen atoms. Both crystal structures are stabilized by N-H…S intermolecular hydrogen bonds to form dimers and arranged along the b axis.

Yttria-stabilized zirconia(YSZ)thin nanocrystalline coatings at different substrate preheating temperatures were deposited via electron beam-physical vapour deposition(EB-PVD).Nanocrystalline ZrO_(2)-Y_(2)O_(3) was deposited on the bond coat in order to compensate for the coefficient of thermal expansion(CTE),which can be functionalized as a thermal barrier coating(TBC).The aim of this study was to evaluate mechanical properties with respect to adhesion of zirconia nanocrystalline’s top ceramic layer to the interfacial bond coat by utilizing micro and nano indentation *** the present paper,the structural studies were carried out using X-ray diffraction(XrD)analysis of coating content(8 mol%of Y_(2)O_(3)).The tetragonal phase of stabilized zirconia was *** emission scanning electron microscopy(FESEm)and atomic force microscopy(AFm)were employed to characterize the coatings’morphology and *** mechanical behavior of ZrO_(2)-Y_(2)O_(3) thin films under point loading conditions was studied by nanoindentation using a Berkovich indenter with 130 nm tip ***,adhesion of top coat to the interfacial underlying metallic bond coat known as mCrAlY(m=Ni,Co)was estimated according to the highest peak load tests;for a 120 mN peak load,the film manifested tolerable adhesion ***,nanoindentation of ZrO_(2)-Y_(2)O_(3) nanostructure deposited at 1050℃substrate preheating temperature produced the highest hardness value of about 21.7 *** micro hardness was utilized with the aid of the Tabor equation in order to achieve deeper insight into the correlation between adhesion and deposition process parameters.

How neonatal diet affects the long-term development of rumination behavior,rumen fermentation and feed digestion in dairy calves fed a high milk level?

The design of a handheld capnography device is in great demand because of its effective and practical uses in all cardiac arrest resuscitations,according to the recommendation of the American Heart ***,a handheld capnography device that can be used in clinical settings and the home environment is *** proposed device was developed by using an infrared CO_(2)sensor,Arduino mega2560,and a high-resolution display(2.8").Furthermore,two rechargeable batteries(7.6 V,0.99 A)and a secure digital card with a capacity of 16 GB were incorporated to increase the portability and usability of the *** were implemented to measure standard features,namely,inspired CO_(2)(ICO_(2)),end-tidal CO_(2)(EtCO_(2)),and re-spiratory rate(rr).The features of 15 healthy subjects were recorded by using the developed prototype and the standard capnography device(Capnostream^(Tm)20 model CS08798).Validation was performed with Bland-Altman *** revealed that mean differences±standard deviations for the set limits of ICO_(2),EtCO_(2)and rr were 0.29±1.30 millimeters of mercury(mmHg),0.15±1.77 mmHg and 0.40±0.97 breaths per minute(bpm),*** of the differences among device measurements across all features fell within the 95%limits of ***,the developed device may help manage respiratory distress conditions in and outside of a hospital setting.

Effect of irrigation schedule on growth and seed yield of camelina(Camelina sativa L.)in Tarai region of central Himalaya

Camelina(Camelina sativa)has emerged as a potential biofuel crop globally with its suitability even as a jet fuel source with 75–80%less greenhouse gas emissions compared to common petroleum *** crop has originated from mediterranean region and belongs to Brassicaceae ***,DrDO has made initial and pioneer efforts in successful introduction of this crop to India and its agro-technology *** a short duration crop with lesser input requirement,it fits well in the cropping pattern of hilly states of Indian *** areas experience fallow land due to shortage of irrigation water for growing other *** present study revealed that irrigation at flowering stage is more *** at this stage(if only one irrigation is available)exhibited grain yield of 1.004 kg·m^(-2)which was 21 and 80%higher over pod setting and rosette stage irrigation,*** maximum seed yield was observed under treatment where irrigation was provided at all three crop growth stages(2.044 kg·m^(-2)).It was 50%higher over T6 treatment(where two irrigations were given at rosette and flowering stage)and 104%higher over T3(where only one irrigation was given at flowering stage).

root Structure,Distribution and Biomass in Five multipurpose Tree Species of Western Himalayas

The tree root distribution pattern and biomass of seventeen year old trees of Grewia optiva, morus alba, Celtis australis, Bauhinia variegata and robinia pseudoacacia were studied by excavation method. B. variegata roots penetrated to a maximum depth of 4.78 m, whereas, m. alba roots were found down to 1.48 m depth. Lateral spread was minimum in B. variegata(1.10 m) and maximum in r. pseudoacacia(7.33 m). maximum root biomass of 6.30 kg was found in r. pseudoacacia and minimum(2.43 kg) was found in m. alba. For four species viz., G. optiva, m. alba, C. australis and r. pseudoacacia, 68%-87% root biomass occurred within top 0-30 cm soil depth, but for B. variegata this was only 45%. The soil binding factor was maximum in G. optiva and minimum in B. variegata. Soil physico-chemical properties also showed wide variation. The study suggests that B. variegata with a deep root system is the most suitable species for plantation under agroforestry systems. r. pseudoacacia and G. optiva with deep root systems, more lateral spread and high soil binding factor are suitable for plantation on degraded lands for soil conservation.

moringa oleifera Lam.(Shigru)(moringaceae family) is a traditional medicine used for control of diabetes, obesity, asthma, and cardiac,liver, gastrointestinal, infective, and brain disorders, such as depression and Alzheimer's disease. In Ayurvedic literature, Shigru is among few drugs having Balya(nourishing) as well as medohara(antiobesity) property. This review focuses on valid connections between the properties documented in ancient literature and current pharmacological knowledge of moringa, including pharmacological actions, phytochemistry,botanical description, and how moringa can tackle malnutrition in India, especially Chhattisgarh. All information about m. oleifera was obtained from electronic scientific databases such as Pubmed, Web of Science, Scopus, ScienceDirect, Elsevier, Google Scholar, Traditional Knowledge Digital Library, and Indian Traditional Books(Ancient Ayurveda literatures, The Wealth of India, and The Ayurvedic Formulary of India), postgraduate/doctoral thesis, and googling the keyword m. oleifera. m. oleifera have anti-oxidant, antimicrobial, anti-diabetic,anti-obesity, anti-inflammatory, cardioprotective, hepatoprotective, neuroprotective, gastroprotective, wound-healing properties and it can potentially tackle malnutrition. This review describes the key information related to botanical description of m. oleifera, phytochemistry,pharmacological actions, clinical studies, toxicological studies, better utilization as food therapeutics, and ethnobotanical and evidence-based comparative review of m. oleifera. m. oleifera can effectively tackle malnutrition in India, especially Chhattisgarh. The authors emphasize the need for future in-depth ethnopharmacological lead-based research and clinical studies to expand m. oleifera pharmacological activities,clinical efficacy, and safety.
