Background Extracellular vesicles(EVs) present in oviductal(OF) and uterine fluid(UF) have been shown to enhance bovine embryo quality during in vitro culture by reducing lipid contents and modulating lipid metabolism-related genes(LmGs), while also influencing cell proliferation, suggesting their involvement on the regulation of different biological pathways. The regulation of signaling pathways related to cell differentiation, proliferation, and metabo-lism is crucial for early embryo development and can determine the success or failure of the pregnancy. Bioactive molecules within EVs in maternal reproductive fluids, such as micro RNAs(miRNAs), may contribute to this regulatory process as they modulate gene expression through post-transcriptional *** This study evaluated miRNA cargo in OF-EVs from the early luteal phase and UF-EVs from the mid-luteal phase, coinciding with embryo transit within oviduct and uterus in vivo, and its possible influence on LmGs and sign-aling pathways crucial for early embryo development. A total of 333 miRNAs were detected, with 11 exclusive to OF, 59 to UF, and 263 were common between both groups. From the 20 differentially expressed miRNAs, 19 up-regulated in UF-EVs(bta-miR-134, bta-miR-151-3p, bta-miR-155, bta-miR-188, bta-miR-181b, bta-miR-181d, bta-miR-224, bta-miR-23b-3p, bta-miR-24-3p, bta-miR-27a-3p, bta-miR-29a, bta-miR-324, bta-miR-326, bta-miR-345-3p, bta-miR-410, bta-miR-652, bta-miR-677, bta-miR-873 and bta-miR-708) and one(bta-miR-148b) in OF-EVs. These miRNAs were predicted to modulate several pathways such as Wnt, Hippo, mAPK, and lipid metabolism and degradation. Cooling and heating modes are shown to be able to significantly modify the magnetic and electrical properties of the half-doped perovskite *** present paper reports on a precise investigation of this phenomenon(the so-called training effect) carried out on Nd0.5Ca0.5mnO3 manganite,which allow a fine tuning of the magnetic ground *** of the X-ray diffraction pattern shows that the synthesized sample is single phase and crystallizes in the orthorhombic structure with Pnma space *** magnetometry measurements,we have found that the sample is the seat of interesting phenomena like charge ordering,magnetic phase separation,spin-glass and inverse magnetocaloric ***-field-driven magnetization(m(μ0 H)) measurements evidence the metamagnetic transition which not only depends on field value,but also on the thermal process(cooling or heating).metamagnetic irreversibility in the magnetic field range(±5 T) and memory effect are observed at low temperatures due to the kinetic arrest *** is worthwhile to mention that the coercive field increases with decreasing temperature and reaches 955 Oe at 20 K,which is sufficiently large compared with that one in the soft magnetic and makes the material quite interesting for spintronic *** electrical resistivity in a zero field was measured on both cooling and warming modes,and the data obtained were fitted by using different theoretical *** low temperatures,the resistivity shows the presence of insulator-metal transition and is found to be in conformity with the magnetization data.A magnetic training effect due to the thermo-magnetic history dependent behavior is observed,where the resistivity is consistently irreversible.

Photocatalytic degradation of phenol with sol-gel prepared rare earth doped tin dioxide （SnO2） nanoparticles was reported. Gadolinium doped tin dioxide （SnO2：Gd） nanoparticles were found to absorb higher visible light compared to lanthanum, neodymium and cerium doped materials that were studied in detail. Photocatalytic degradation of phenol under artificial white light and sunlight in the presence of SnO2：Gd nanoparticles was studied with high performance liquid chromatography （HPLC）, capillary electrophoresis （CE）, total organic carbon （TOC） measurements and the determination of chemical oxygen demand （COD）. Clear correlations be- tween the results obtained from these multiple measurements were found, and a kinetic pathway for the degradation process was pro- posed. Within 150 min of solar irradiation, the TOC of a 10 ppm phenol solution in water was reduced by 95%-99%, thus demon- strating that SnO2：Gd nanoparticles are efficient visible light photocatalysts.

The determination of boundary points and their correlation are prerequisites for defining the PrecambrianCambrian boundary and the intercontinental correlation. A large number of good Precambrian-Cambrian boundary sections in South Asia not only possess the conditions for selection of a boundary stratotype, but also provide the basis for the long-distance correlation of those boundary sections.Through a detailed study of the latest data obtained from the typical sections in South China, the Lesser Himalaya mountains and the Alborz mountains. the locations of boundary points have been defined, and a correlation scheme is proposed, which contributes to the solution of the problem of worldwide correlation of boundary sections.

In this paper, we prove the existence and the global exponential stability of the unique weighted pseudo almost-periodic solution of shunting inhibitory cellular neural networks with mixed time-varying delays comprising different discrete and distributed time delays. Some sufficient conditions are given for the existence and the global exponential stability of the weighted pseudo almost-periodic solution by employing fixed point theorem and differential inequality techniques. The results of this paper complement the previously known ones. Finally, an illustrative example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of our results.

Six new macrocyclic complexes were synthesized by a template reaction of 1,4-bis（2-formylphenoxy）butane with diamines and Cu（NO3）2·3H2O and their structures were proposed on the basis of elemental analysis, FT-IR, UV-Vis, magnetic susceptibility measurements, molar conductivity measurements and mass spectra. The metal to ligand molar ratios of the Cu（Ⅱ） complexes were found to be 1 ： 1. The Cu（Ⅱ） complexes are 1 ： 2 electrolytes as shown by their molar conductivities （∧m） in DmF at 10^-3 mol·L^-1. Due to the existence of free ions the Cu（Ⅱ） complexes are electrically conductive. Their configurations were proposed to be probably distorted octahedral.

The modal analysis of piping system in air conditioner (AC) outdoor unit is essential to investigate the vibration properties of the system. In view of the growing significance of numerical finite element (FE) model for vibration behaviour prediction, the AC piping elastic end support characterization has been explored. The axial and radial stiffness variables (ka, kr1, kr2) of the compressor-piping mounting are obtained and represented by dynamic stiffness of compressor grommet. They are obtained from dynamic load deflection test based on compressor operating condition such as excitation frequency and amplitude. The unknown stiffness variables of the other tube end (chassis-piping mounting) are determined by parameter fine tuning. An experimental modal analysis using impact hammer test has also been employed to determine the vibration properties such as natural frequencies, mode shapes and damping ratio of the piping structures. The modal parameters acquisition using SCADAS mobile acquisition system and LmS Impact Testing software is compared with the corresponding simulated modal properties using Abaqus. most of the simulated natural frequencies achieve good correlation with the measured frequencies and it is reasonably a good prediction model to predict vibration behaviour of AC piping structures.

Since the end of the 1990s,cryptosystems implemented on smart cards have had to deal with two main categories of attacks:side-channel attacks and fault injection *** have been developed and validated against these two types of attacks,taking into account a well-defined attacker *** work focuses on small vulnerabilities and countermeasures related to the Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm(ECDSA)*** work done in this paper focuses on protecting the ECDSA algorithm against fault-injection *** precisely,we are interested in the countermeasures of scalar multiplication in the body of the elliptic curves to protect against attacks concerning only a few bits of secret may be sufficient to recover the private *** can be implemented in different ways,in software or via dedicated hardware or a mix of *** different architectures are therefore possible to implement an ECDSA-based *** this reason,this work focuses mainly on the hardware implementation of the digital signature *** addition,the proposed ECDSA architecture with and without fault detection for the scalar multiplication have been implemented on Xilinxfield programmable gate arrays(FPGA)platform(Virtex-5).Our implementation results have been compared and *** area,frequency,area overhead and frequency degradation have been compared and it is shown that the proposed architecture of ECDSA with fault detection for the scalar multiplication allows a trade-off between the hardware overhead and the security of the ECDSA.

Biological control of agricultural pests relies on knowledge of agroecosystem functionality, particularly when affected by the use of mass-produced biological agents. Incorporating pre- and/or post-release information such as genetic diversity and struc- ture on these agents using molecular-based approaches could advance our knowledge of how they perform in agroecosystems. We evaluated the population genetics of macrolo- phus pygmaeus, the most widely used predatory mirid against many arthropod pests of greenhouse crops in the mediterranean region, using the mitochondrial Cytb sequence and microsatellite data, and population genetics and phylogeny approaches. We investigated commercially mass-produced insects （i.e., commercial insects either mass-reared in the laboratory for many generations, or purchased by farmers and released in the greenhouses） and ＂wild＂ insects （i.e., that occur naturally outside or are collected in nature for release in the greenhouses）. The mirids were mainly collected in agroecosystems in which solana- ceous plants are grown in northern Spain, southern France and Greece. Both molecular markers and approaches distinguished 2 genetically differentiated populations. The less genetically diverse population, hereafter named the ＂commercial＂ strain included all indi- viduals from laboratory mass-rearings and most releases of commercially bred individuals. The most genetically diverse population mainly comprised individuals originating from noncultivated environments, or from releases of＂wild＂ individuals. Rare examples of hy- bridization between m. pygmaeus from the 2 populations were observed and asymmetric gene flow was revealed. These findings provide new insights into what happens to m. pyg- maeus released in the agroecosystems we studied, and show that it is possible to monitor some commercial strains.
