The sandstones of the Late miocene–Pliocene Dibdibba Formation in the Najaf–Karbala Plateau and Basra were examined to determine their source rocks and origin. The rare earth elements(REE) and trace elements(sc, Co, V, and Th) concentrations in these sandstones revealed that they likely derived from a single source. The steep light rare earth elements(LREE) and flat, heavy rare earth element(HREE) patterns, negative Eu anomaly, and high ΣREE contents in sandstones suggest its derivation from a suggests that a passive continental margin environment and originated from felsic source rocks. The average concentration of ΣREE is 93.5 ppm, which is lower than that of the average crustal compositions like Upper Continental Crust and Post Archean Australian shale. The higher proportion of LREE compared to HREE implies that these sandstones were recycled and derived from a distal source. The Th/Co, Th/sc, La/sc, La/Co, Eu/Eu*and(La/Lu)cn elemental ratios indicated that these Late miocene–Pliocene sandstones were derived from felsic rocks located in the marginal region of the Arabian shield.

The albumin-bilirubin(alBI)score is a useful prognostic marker that predicts mortality in patients suffering from terminal ***,it has been reported that alBI score is a predictor of non-malignant liver *** cutoff point of the alBI score that distinguishes hepatocellular carcinoma from non-malignant liver disease is still not ***,the alBI score is a sensi-tive rather than a specific predictor of the poor outcomes of liver *** are many hematological indices and ratios that are utilized as prognostic *** these biomarkers are the neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio,platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio(PLR),and platelet-hemoglobin ratio(PHR),which are useful discriminating prognostic biomarkers for liver diseases,e.g.,hepato-cellular carcinoma,hepatitis,liver fibrosis,*** is evidence that PLR and PHR are prognostic biomarkers that predict the poor outcomes of ***,concomitant measurements of alBI score and PHR or alBI score and PLR will improve the predictive value that can differentiate hepatocellular carcinoma from non-malignant diseases.

The present study is a systematic effort to investigate the structure-sensitive magnetic parameters of Ce^(3+) substituted Ba-sr hexaferrite nanocrystals chemically formulated as Ba_(0.5)sr_(0.5)Ce_(x)Fe_(12-x)O_(19) where x=0.0-0.2 with Δx=*** hexaferrite powders were prepared using the sol-gel self-ignition route and structurally characterized by means of powder X-ray diffraction and Fourier transform infrared *** creation of the m-type hexaferrite phase within the synthesized samples was revealed from the Rietveld refinement of the X-ray *** occurrence of a secondary phase of CeO_(2) was revealed within the hexaferrites for the substitution,x> *** refined X-ray diffraction data were utilized to compute the lattice parameters,X-ray density,and lattice parameter *** crystal structure plotted from the refined XRD data reveals the occupancy of the ions at different lattice *** XPs data of the hexaferrite were analyzed to confirm the oxidation states of the constituent *** nanocrystalline nature of the hexaferrites was revealed from the crystallite sizes calculated using scherer's *** analysis of FTIR spectra confirms that only a fraction of Ce^(3+)accommodated in the lattice and the remaining Ce content reside in the form of the CeO_(2) *** morphology of the hexaferrites was analyzed from the FEsEm profiles of the ferrite *** magnetic behavior study was performed by analyzing the Curie temperature,hysteresis loops,and hyperfine interactions by means of susceptibility,V.s.m,and mossbauer spectroscopy,*** hexaferrites with increasing coercivity,decreasing saturation magnetization,and decreasing Curie temperature are reported in the *** substituted Ce^(3+)ions inhibit the grain growth and create lattice imperfections giving rise to hexaferrites with tuned magnetic parameters suitable for different applications.

Assessment of plant diversity of endemic species of the saharo-Arabian region in Egypt

savanna, semi-deserts, and hot deserts characterize the saharo-Arabian region, which includes morocco, mauretania, algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Palestine, Kuwait, saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Yemen, southern Jordan, syria, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and northern India. Its neighboring regions, the sudano-Zambezian region belonging to the Paleotropical Kingdom and the mediterranean and Irano-Turanian regions included in the Holarctic Kingdom, share a large portion of their flora with the saharo-Arabian region. Despite the widespread acknowledgment of the region's global importance for plant diversity, an up to date list of the saharo-Arabian endemics is still unavailable. The available data are frequently insufficient or out of date at both the whole global and the national scales. Therefore, the present study aims at screening and verifying the saharo-Arabian endemic plants and determining the phytogeographical distribution of these taxa in the Egyptian flora. Hence, a preliminary list of 429 saharo-Arabian endemic plants in Egypt was compiled from the available literature. Indeed, by excluding the species that were recorded in any countries or regions outside the saharo-Arabian region based on different literature, database reviews, and websites, the present study has reduced this number to 126 taxa belonging to 87 genera and 37 families. Regarding the national geographic distribution, south sinai is the richest region with 83 endemic species compared with other eight phytogeographic regions in Egypt, followed by the Isthmic Desert(the middle of sinai Peninsula, 53 taxa). sahara regional subzone(ss1) distributes all the 126 endemic species, Arabian regional subzone(ss2) owns 79 taxa, and Nubo-sindian subzone(ss3) distributes only 14 endemics. seven groups were recognized at the fourth level of classification as a result of the application of the two-way indicator species analysis(TWINsPAN) to the saharo-Arabian endemic sp

In this paper,the dust particle surface potential for argon-helium plasma is evaluated analytically and numerically in the context of negatively charged dust particles by employing a power-law(r,q)-distribution *** studies have reported the argon-helium plasma and conducted a brief theoretical and experimental *** deepen our understanding further,this study aims to analyze the argon-helium plasma comprehensively using the same pattern but with the(r,q)-distribution *** this purpose,the current balance equations are derived for electron,helium and argon ions,when these charge species attain the quasineutrality *** numerically examined the currents of plasma species for a broad range of effective distribution function parameters r and *** is revealed that the surface potential of dust particles is significantly affected by the parameters r and q,helium ion-to-electron temperature ratio,argon ion-to-electron temperature ratio,and helium ion to argon ion number density *** incorporating the multi-ion(argon-helium)species,the significance of low-temperature nonmaxwellian dusty(complex)plasma is briefly examined.

staged combustion of biomass is the most suitable thermo-chemical conversion for achieving lower gaseous emissions and higher fuel conversion *** a staged fixed bed combustion of biomass,combustion air is supplied in two *** the first stage,primary air is provided below the fuel,whereas in the later stage,secondary air is supplied in the freeboard *** available literature on the effects of air staging(secondary air location) at a constant primary air flow rate on combustion characteristics in a batch-type fixed bed combustor is limited and hence warrants further *** study resolves the effect of air staging,by varying the location of secondary air in the freeboard at five secondary to total air ratios in a batch-type fixed bed *** are reported for the effects of these controlled parameters on fuel conversion rate,overall gaseous emissions(CO_(2),CO and NO_x) and temperature *** fuel used throughout was densified hardwood *** show that a primary freeboard length(distance between fuel bed top and secondary air injection) of200 mm has higher fuel conversion rates and temperatures as well as lower CO emissions,at a secondary to total air ratio of 0.75 as compared to primary freeboard length of 300 ***,NO_x emissions were found to be lower for a primary freeboard length of 300 mm as compared to 200 *** increase in secondary to total air ratio from 0.33 to 0.75 resulted in higher freeboard temperatures and lower CO as well as NO_x *** outcomes of this study will be helpful in the effective design of commercial scale biomass combustors for more efficient and environmentally friendly combustion.
