This paper explores the potential of Longan peel waste（LPw） as a sustainable and cost-effective matrix for selenium-based cathodes in Li-Se and Na-Se *** activation,we created LP2—a designation for the carbon precursor derived from LPw,activated at a 1:2 ratio of carbonized LPw to *** nomenclature,where'LP' stands for 'Longan peel' and '2' reflects the optimization of this ratio,led to a hierarchical porous structure with an average pore size of 3.0307 nm and a significant BET surface area of 111.9386 m2g-1Selenium was incorporated into the LP2matrix using a simple melt diffusion technique,yielding the composite Se@*** Li-Se batteries,Se@LP2exhibited an initial discharge capacity of 1033.75 mAh g-1at *** a 1C rate,the composite demonstrated a capacity retention of 301.14 mAh g-1after 550 cycles and 380.91 mAh g-1after 100 ***,for Na-Se batteries,the composite showcased a capacity retention of 347.18 mAh g-1after 100 cycles *** findings underscore LP2's potential as a viable and efficient matrix for selenium-based cathodes,revealing promising prospects for the advancement of highly efficient Li-Se and Na-Se batteries.

Pt nanoparticles(PtNPs)as active species have always been considered as one of the best semiconductor materials for photocatalytic hydrogen *** this study,a Schottky heterojunction has been successfully constructed by evenly loading ultrafine PtNPs onto a triazine-based covalent organic frameworks(COFs).This strategy maintained the high activity of these ultra-small PtNPs while maximizing the utilization of the Pt active *** fabricated PtNPs@covalent triazine-based framework-1(CTF-1)composite accomplished a significantly high rate of hydrogen evolution(20.0 mmol·g^(−1)·h^(−1),apparent quantum efficiency(AQE)=7.6%,atλ=450 nm)with 0.40 wt.%Pt loading,giving rise to a 44-fold-increase in the efficiency of the photocatalytic hydrogen production compared to the pristine *** calculations revealed that the strong electron transfer(Q(Pt)=−0.726 qe,in the analysis of Bader charge,Q(Pt)is the charge quantity transferred from Pt cluster to CTF-1,and qe is the unit of charge transfer quantity)between PtNPs and CTF-1 triggers a strong interaction,which makes PtNPs being firmly attached to the structure of CTF-1,thereby enabling high stability and excellent hydrogen production ***,the hydrogen binding free energy(ΔGH*)of PtNPs@CTF-1 is much lower than that of the unmodified CTF-1,leading to a much lower intermediate state and hence a significant improvement in photocatalytic *** overall findings of this work provide a new platform to incorporate metallic NPs into COFs for the design and fabrication of highly efficient photocatalysts.

Internet of Things(IoT)networks are characterized by a multitude of wireless,interconnected devices that can dynamically join or exit the network without centralized administration or fixed infrastructure for *** multipath routing in IoT networks can improve data transmission reliability and load balancing by establishing multiple paths between source and destination nodes,these networks are susceptible to security threats due to their wireless *** security solutions developed for conventional networks are often ill-suited to the unique challenges posed by IoT *** response to these challenges,this paper proposes the integration of the Ad hoc On-demand multipath Distance Vector(AOmDV)routing protocol with a trust model to enhance network *** findings from this research demonstrate the successful fusion of AOmDV with a trust model,resulting in tangible improvements in network *** assessment of trustworthiness bolsters both security and routing capabilities in IoT *** trust model plays a crucial role in mitigating black hole attacks in IoT networks by evaluating the trustworthiness of nodes and helping in the identification and avoidance of malicious nodes that may act as black *** results validate the efficacy of the proposed trust-based routing mechanism in achieving its *** plays a pivotal role in decision-making and in the creation of secure distribution *** assessing the trustworthiness of nodes,both network security and routing efficiency can be *** effectiveness of the proposed trust-based routing mechanism is scrutinized through simulations,offering insights into its potential advantages in terms of improved network security and routing performance in the context of the IoT.

Conditioning regimens employed in autologous stem cell transplantation have been proven useful in various hematological disorders and underlying malignancies;however,despite being efficacious in various instances,negative consequences have also been *** conditioning regimens were extracted from various literature searches from databases like Pubmed,Google scholar,EmBASE,and *** regimens for each disease were compared by using various end points such as overall survival(OS),progression free survival(PFS),and leukemia free survival(LFS).Variables were presented on graphs and analyzed to conclude a more efficacious conditioning *** multiple myeloma,the most effective regimen was high dose melphalan(mEL)given at a dose of 200/mg/*** comparative results of acute myeloid leukemia were presented and the regimens that proved to be at an admirable position were busulfan(BU)+mEL regarding OS and BU+VP16 regarding *** case of acute lymphoblastic leukemia(ALL),BU,fludarabine,and etoposide(BuFluVP)conferred good disease control not only with a paramount improvement in survival rate but also low risk of ***,for ALL,chimeric antigen receptor(CAR)T cell therapy was preferred in the context of better OS and *** respect to Hodgkin’s lymphoma,mitoxantrone(mITO)/mEL overtook carmustine,VP16,cytarabine,and mEL in view of PFS and vice versa regarding ***-Hodgkin’s lymphoma patients were administered mITO(60 mg/m2)and mEL(180 mg/m2)which showed promising ***,amyloidosis was considered,and the regimen that proved to be competent was mEL 200(200 mg/m2).This review article demonstrates a comparison between various conditioning regimens employed in different diseases.

Grain yield is determined mainly by grain number and grain *** this study,we identified and characterized mORE GRAINS1(mOG1),a gene associated with grain number and grain weight in rice(Oryza sativa L.),through map-based *** of mOG1 increased grain yield by 18.6%-22.3%under field *** determined that mOG1,a bHLH transcription factor,interacts with OsbHLH107 and directly activates the expression of LONELY GUY(LOG),which encodes a cytokinin-activating enzyme and the cell expansion gene EXPANSIN-LIKE1(EXPLA1),positively regulating grain number per panicle and grain *** variations in the promoter and coding regions of mOG1 between Hap-LNW and Hap-HNW alleles resulted in changes in mOG1 expression level and transcriptional activation,leading to functional *** analysis revealed that Hap-HNW,which results in a greater number and heavier grains,has undergone strong selection but has been poorly utilized in modern lowland rice *** summary,the mOG1-OsbHLH107 complex activates LOG and EXPLA1 expression to promote cell expansion and division of young panicles through the cytokinin pathway,thereby increasing grain number and grain *** findings suggest that Hap-HNW could be used in strategies to breed high-yielding temperate japonica lowland rice.

Sickle Cell Anemia(SCA)is a prevalent genetic condition in Saudi Arabia,particularly in the Jazan *** study’s purpose was to assess the prevalence of de-pression among individuals with SCA in this area and to identify the factors associated with this *** study involved 391 adult participants,all patients in the hematology center of Prince m.ham.ed bin Nasser Hospital(PmNH).Data was collected through an anonymous interview questionnaire–the Arabic version of the Patient Health Questionnaire-9(PHQ-9)–between march–may *** questionnaire covered socio-demographic information and variables related to the participant’s SCA history,such as pain levels,frequency of pain,hospitalization duration,and frequency of blood *** variables underwent Chi-square and One-way ANOVA testing,followed by multivariate *** study found a 42%prevalence of depression among the SCA *** significantly linked with heightened depression levels included being widowed or divorced,experiencing frequent and severe pain,and longer duration of hospital *** educational level of at least a bachelor’s degree was also a significant *** study reveals a high prevalence of depression among SCA patients in the Jazan *** underscores the need for policymakers to educate both physicians and patients about the importance of mental health in SCA *** study also highlights the need for more research into the specific causes and effects of depressive symptoms in SCA patients to inform the creation of effective management plans.
