Background: Healthcare providers were faced daily with many decision-making that impacted patients’ safety. According to dual process theory, there were two types of thinking: Experiential style (ES) and Rational Style (RS). Both thinking styles had an impact on individuals’ decisions making. Therefore, the aim of this study was to find out nurses’ and physicians’ styles of thinking and how this impacted patients’ safety. design: A cross-sectional study. methods: Nurses and physicians sample of adults (n = 308), 190 (61.7%) of the sample were nurses and 118 (38.3%) of the sample were physicians. Participants completed a self-report online survey, which included demographic information followed by questionnaires to measure thinking style and a cognitive puzzle to see if the medical error was associated with certain styles of thinking. Results: The main findings were that nurses (m = 2.41, Sd = 0.37) had significantly higher scores compared to physicians (m = 2.29, Sd = 0.39) in their ES, t(305) = 2.73, p = 0.007;with medium effect size, d = 0.37692. Conclusion: Nurses differed from physicians in ES where nurses had a significantly higher score than physicians which could be positive for patients’ safety as higher ES would report errors compared to lower ES.

Assessing the impact of artificial recharge on groundwater in an overexploited aquifer: A case study in the Cheria Basin, North-East of Algeria

The Cheria region in Northeastern Algeria has been facing aquifer overexploitation by the agricultural sector and prolonged droughts,resulting in a considerable decline in groundwater *** study investigates the feasibility of implementing artificial recharge techniques to replenish the Eocene aquifer which serves as the primary water source in the Cheria region.A 3d transient numerical model,based on the finite difference method,was used to simulate groundwater flow from 2021 to 2031 using Visual mOdFLOW *** the modelling process,three scenarios were considered:(1)including pumping without a recharge,(2)recharge of the entire area through efficient infiltration without pumping,and(3)artificial recharge using river water infiltration basins at two sites,draa douamis sinkholes and Eocene limestone *** simulation results showed that aquifer exploitation without recharge caused significant drawdowns,which were 3 m to 7 m in the north-eastern part and 8 m to 12 m in the central and southern *** contrast,the second scenario,involving recharge without pumping,showed a rise in groundwater levels of 2 m to 2.7 m in the north-eastern part and 3 m to 3.62 m in the central and southern *** third scenario,employing artificial recharge,indicated a positive response to artificial recharge,with increased piezometric levels at the proposed sites,signifying a beneficial impact on the *** findings underline the potential of artificial recharge as a promising approach to address the groundwater depletion and environmental issues in the Cheria Basin.

A superresolution imaging approach that localizes very small targets,such as red blood cells or droplets of injected photoacoustic dye,has significantly improved spatial resolution in various biological and medical imaging ***,this superior spatial resolution is achieved by sacrificing temporal resolution because many raw image frames,each containing the localization target,must be superimposed to form a sufficiently sampled high-density superresolution ***,we demonstrate a computational strategy based on deep neural networks(dNNs)to reconstruct high-density superresolution images from far fewer raw image *** localization strategy can be applied for both 3d label-free localization optical-resolution photoacoustic microscopy(OR-PAm)and 2d labeled localization photoacoustic computed tomography(PACT).For the former,the required number of raw volumetric frames is reduced from tens to fewer than *** the latter,the required number of raw 2d frames is reduced by 12 ***,our proposed method has simultaneously improved temporal(via the dNN)and spatial(via the localization method)resolutions in both label-free microscopy and labeled ***-learning powered localization PA imaging can potentially provide a practical tool in preclinical and clinical studies requiring fast temporal and fine spatial resolutions.

In this paper, iterative or successive approximation methods for the hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman-lsaacs equations （HJBIEs） arising in both deterministic and stochastic optimal control for affine nonlinear systems are developed. Convergence of the methods are established under fairly mild assumptions, and examples are solved to demonstrate the effectiveness of the methods. However, the results presented in the paper are preliminary, and do not yet imply in anyway that the solutions computed will be stabilizing. more improvements and experimentation will be required before a satisfactory algorithm is developed.

Vitamin d status and viral response to therapy in hepatitis C infected children

AIm: To study the frequency of vitamin d deficiency in patients with hepatitis C virus(HCV) infection and to evaluate the role of vitamin d supplementation in improving antiviral ***: Sixty-six children aged from 7-14 years(mean ± Sd, 11.17 ± 2.293) diagnosed with HCV infection were matched to 28 healthy controls. Serum levels of 25(OH) d3, calcium, phosphorus, alkaline phosphatase and plasma level of parathormone were measured. Quantitative PCR for HCV was performed Bone density was determined by dual energy X-ray absorptiometry. All cases received conventional therapy, and only 33 patients received vitamin d ***: Children with HCV showed significantly increased levels of HCV RNA(P mone(P d decreased vitamin d levels(P deficient and 43.3% insufficient) compared with controls. Abnormal bone status(Z score-1.98 ± 0.75) was found in ribs, L-spine, pelvis and total body. Cases treated with vitamin d showed significant higher early(P d sustained(P min d deficiency among the Egyptian HCV children, with significant decrease in bone density. The vitamin d level should be assessed before the start of antiviral treatment with the correction of any detected deficiency. CONCLUSION: Adding vitamin d to conventional Peg/RBV therapy significantly improved the virological response and helped to prevent the risk of emerging bone fragility.

In the lithography section of the ITRS 2006 update, at the top of the list of difficult challenges appears the text "overlay of multiple exposures including mask image placement". This is a reflection of the fact that today overlay is becoming a major yield risk factor in semiconductor manufacturing. Historically, lithographers have achieved sufficient alignment accuracy and hence layer to layer overlay control by relying on models which define overlay as a linear function of the field and wafer coordinates. These linear terms were easily translated to correctibles in the available exposure tool degrees of freedom on the wafer and reticle stages. However, as the 45 nm half pitch node reaches production, exposure tool vendors have begun to make available, and lithographers have begun to utilize so called high order wafer and field control, in which either look up table or high order polynomial models are modified on a product by product basis. In this paper, the major challenges of this transition will be described. It will include characterization of the sources of variation which need to be controlled by these new models and the overlay and alignment sampling optimization problem which needs to be addressed, while maintaining the ever tightening demands on productivity and cost of ownership.

为研究蚯蚓粪对砖红壤的培肥和改良效果,采用海南耕地砖红壤为材料进行室内培养试验,按照蚯蚓粪与干土的质量比分别设置为CK(0)、V1(1∶11)、V2(1∶5)、V3(1∶3)和V4(1∶2),共5个处理,培养52 d后,分别测定各处理土壤的p H值、全氮、全磷、全钾、碱解氮、速效磷、速效钾、有效钠、有效镁和有效钙的含量。结果表明,砖红壤p H值提高0.77~1.64个单位;全磷、全钾、碱解氮和速效磷含量均随蚯蚓粪添加量的增加显著提高(P<0.05),其中全磷和全钾较CK分别增加0.88~3.22倍和1.67~2.65倍,碱解氮和速效磷含量的最大增加量分别为1.66和10.7倍。V1处理土壤全氮和有效钠含量低于CK,随蚯蚓粪添加量的增多,V4处理土壤全氮和有效钠含量较CK分别增加3.43倍和66.19%;V1和V2处理速效钾含量低于CK,V3和V4处理分别高于CK 6.9%和14.9%;但蚯蚓粪添加量对土壤有效镁含量的影响差异不显著。因此,蚯蚓粪作为有机肥料施入砖红壤,可以提高砖红壤p H,砖红壤全态和有效养分含量随添加量的提高而增加,对于砖红壤地区培肥地力和改良土壤具有重要的实用价值。

An analysis has been performed to study the problem of magneto-hydrodynamic （mHd） squeeze flow of an electrically conducting fluid between two infinite, parallel disks. The analytical methods called Homotopy Analysis method （ham） and Homotopy Perturbation method （HPm） have been used to solve nonlinear differential equations. It has been attempted to show the capabilities and wide-range applications of the proposed methods in comparison with a type of numerical analysis as Boundary Value Problem （BVP） in solving this problem. Also, the velocity fields have been computed and shown graphically for various values of physical parameters. The objective of the present work is to investigate the effect of squeeze Reynolds number, Hartmann number and the suction/injection parameter on the velocity field. Furthermore, the results reveal that ham and HPm are very effective and convenient.

Background: Breast cancer is the most common cancer diagnosed worldwide, synchronous bilateral breast cancer accounts for unique entity of the disease, particularly post-operative radiotherapy for Synchronous Bilateral Breast Cancer (SBBC) is challenging with lack of evidence about the best irradiation technique. In this study, we tried to explore the optimum radiotherapy technique regarding the dosimetric parameters. Methods: We recruited 15 SBBC patients in whom post-operative radiotherapy was indicated and we established three plans for each patient using 3DCRT, IMRT and VMAT, and then we compared the three plans as regard target volume coverage parameters and organs at risk (OAR) doses. Results: We found that PTV coverage parameter was superior with IMRT compared with 3DCRT and VMAT in terms of Dmean (p = 0.001), D95% (p = 0.001), Dmax (p = 0.0001), conformity index (p = 0.0001) and HI (p = 0.0001). 二维材料惊人的性能从其非凡的电学和光学性能到其出色的机械性能,极大地引起了半导体行业的关注。电泳沉积似乎是获得2d材料外延生长和实现具有高度薄膜透明度的明确原子层控制的非常有前途的策略。在这里,我们报告了一种通用方法来形成可扩展的2d材料薄膜,而不管材料的导电性如何。具体如下:(1)通过一种简便的一步电泳沉积方法,通过在控制温度条件下通过液相气相色谱法制备的高质量悬浮液,制备了基于二维mo S纳米片和Sn Se纳米粒子的横向异质结构膜。(2)沉积的薄膜用作PEC太阳能电池的光阳极材料。mo S纳米片垂直堆叠以形成薄膜,然后沉积Sn Se以形成纳米颗粒。因此,可以在扫描电子显微镜中发现独特的网格状横向异质结构薄膜。由于加速电子-空穴对的分离并阻碍复合,异质结构可以提高PEC太阳能电池的性能。基于混合Sn Se/mo S网格状结构光阳极的光电化学太阳能电池(PEC)表现出极大的能量转换性能改进,因为它在100 m W/cm的光照强度下产生了1.88 m A cm的短路电流密度(J)和0.41%的效率,而基于唯一Sn Se和mo S电极的PEC具有0.58 m A cm和0.997 m A cm的J,效率分别为0.159%和0.24%。(3)我们阐明了将EPd技术应用于液相膨胀石墨烯、六方氮化硼和黑色磷烯纳米片胶体悬浮液的巨大效果,以在ITO/PET基板上获得具有高度透明度和灵活性的连续和可缩放的薄膜。对沉积的膜进行了FESEm,EdAX元素映射,XRd和拉曼表征分析。测量Gr/ITO/PET和BP/ITO/PET器件的I-V特性。线性关系是指沉积薄膜和导电基板(ITO/PET)之间的欧姆接触。
