Brainwave is a kind of traceable neurophysiological energy in a living brain. Invisible to human eyes, it is only detectable using electroencephalography (EEG), electrocorticography (ECoG) and magnetoencephalography (mEG). The waves or oscillations or rhythms are produced mainly by the oscillatory networks of the brain. Three main oscillatory networks are thalamocortical, extrathalamic-cortical and cortical-cortical networks. Greater limbic system (reticular system, hypothalamus, thalamus, basal forebrain nuclei, limbic system) has a great influence on these oscillatory networks. This system which is in microgravity position lies deep inside and surrounded by the ventricles of the brain. It receives all information from inside and outside of our body and then projects to all areas of the brain (from all to one and from one to all—nearly similar concept to “from God back to God”). Therefore, the greater limbic system could be regarded as “a core of the neuroaxis” which lies in microgravity compartment and in microgravity position (“T”-shape or curving shape;whilst gravity position is “I”-shape or vertical shape). By knowing the origin of the brainwaves and methods to detect them, one may study seizure networks, normal and abnormal brain networks and arguably, even to explore the relationship between the “invisibles”: “invisible” brainwaves and “invisible” soul.

The identification of jets originating from quarks and gluons,often referred to as quark/gluon tagging,plays an important role in various analyses performed at the Large Hadron Collider,as Standard model measurements and searches for new particles decaying to quarks often rely on suppressing a large gluon-induced *** paper describes the measurement of the efficiencies of quark/gluon taggers developed within the ATLAS Collaboration,using √s=13 TeV proton–proton collision data with an integrated luminosity of 140 fb^(-1) collected by the ATLAS *** taggers with high performances in rejecting jets from gluon over jets from quarks are studied:one tagger is based on requirements on the number of inner-detector tracks associated with the jet,and the other combines several jet substructure observables using a boosted decision tree.A method is established to determine the quark/gluon fraction in data,by using quark/gluon-enriched subsamples defined by the jet *** in tagging efficiency between data and simulation are provided for jets with transverse momentum between 500 GeV and 2 TeV and for multiple tagger working points.

Twist Drill Evacuation of Chronic Subdural Hematoma in Comorbid Patients

Chronic Subdural Hematoma (CSDH) is one of the most common types of intracranial hemorrhage, and the prognosis is good if treated properly. The standard treatment for CSDH is surgical evacuation. Various surgical procedures are used such as burr holes evacuation, twist-drill craniostomy, and craniotomy. Our aim is to evaluate the feasibility and safety of twist dill as a first-choice treatment in evacuation of CSDH in comorbid patients. methods: This study is a prospective analysis of CSDH evacuation using two twist drill craniostomy holes and irrigation conducted on 21 patients with different comorbidities in Assuit University Hospital between may 2017 and may 2018. Results: The overall postoperative clinical improvement was 95.2%. The operative time was less than 10 minutes in 71.4% of the patients. 4 patients showed residual collection in the post-operative CT (19%). Pneumocephaly was detected in 2 patients (9.5%). Postoperative seizures occurred in 2 patients (9.5%), and subarachnoid hemorrhage was detected in one patient (4.7%). Conclusion: This approach is a new modification of twist drill craniostomy which can decrease the postoperative residual and recurrence rates and also still a minimally invasive and lifesaving technique in patients with different comorbidities.

n="justify"> Amid the Covid-19 widespread, it has been challenging for educational institutions to conduct online classes, facing multiples challenges. This paper provides an insight into different approaches in facing those challenges which includes conducting a fair online class for students. It is tough for an instructor to keep track of their students at the same time because it is difficult to screen if any of the understudies within the class are not present, mindful, or drowsing. This paper discusses a possible solution, something new that can offer support to instructors seeing things from a more significant point of view. The solution is a facial analysis computer program that can let instructors know which students are attentive and who is not. There’s a green and red square box for face detection, for which Instructors can watch by seeing a green box on those mindful students conjointly, a red box on those who are not mindful at all. This paper finds that the program can automatically give attendance by analyzing data from face detection. It has other features for which the teacher can also know if any student leaves the class early. In this paper, model design, performance analysis, and online class assistant aspects of the program have been discussed.

A composite paste electrode based on Ba0.5Sr0.5Co0.8Fe0.2O3-δ (BSCF)—initially synthesized by solgel method—and multiwall carbon nanotube (mWCnT) as a cathode in fuel cells is developed. The composite pastes are prepared by the direct mixing of BSCF:mWCnT at 90:10, 80:20 and 70:30 (% w/W). These electrodes are then characterized by the x-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEm), nitrogen adsorption-desorption isotherm, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and cyclic voltammetry (CV). The XRD and SEm confirm the inclusion and the uniform dispersal of the mWCnT within BSCF, respectively. The nitrogen adsorption isotherm study shows that the porosity of the composite paste electrode has been improved by two-fold from the BSCF electrode. The EIS and CV demonstrate that the higher ratios of mWCnT in the composites are critical in improving the electronic conductivity as well as the kinetics. It is also noticeable that the electrode has increased the catalysis of oxygen in 0.1 m KOH (pH 12.0). Cyclic voltammetric studies on the oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) suggest that the incorporation of mWCnT is vital in improving the electrode (cathode) properties of a fuel cell.

Field experiment was conducted for one growing season (2012) in clay loam soil at the Experimental Farm of Faculty of Agriculture, Southern Illinois University at Carbondale (SIUC), USA on soybean crop to study the effect of: 1) the closed drip irrigation system: closed circuits with one and two a manifolds for lateral lines (Cm1DIS;Cm2DIS) and traditional drip irrigation system (TDIS) as a control;and 2) lateral lines length (LLL): LLL1, LLL2 and LLL3 (40, 60,80 m) on soybean growth, yield, oil, protein content and water use efficiency. Plants were drip irrigated every 4 days. n, K2O and P2O5 fertilizers were added via irrigation water. Data obtained could be outlined as follows: 1) According to the mean values of soybean crop growth (leaf area;plant height), yield (grain and straw), both oil and protein content and water use efficiency, the treatment used could be ranked in the following ascending orders: TDIS m1DIS m2DIS and LLL3 nces in the means of the studied data among treatments used were significant at the 1% level;3) The effects of the DIC × LLL on the data obtained were significant at the 1 % level;And 4) the highest values of the obtained data and the lowest ones were achieved in the following interactions: Cm2DIS × LLL1;TDIS × LLL3, respectively.

This study reported on the electrochemical oxidations of glycerol, obtained from cooking palm oil hydrolyzed using commercial lipase, by two monoenzyme systems: (1) glycerol dehydrogenase (GDH); and (2) alcohol dehydrogenase (adH) immobilized within nafion layer on the surface of poly(o-phenylenediamine) (PoPD) modified carbon cloth electrode. Another system studied was a bienzyme system of adH and aldehyde dehydrogenase (AldDH) immobilized similarly on the substrate electrode described earlier. The later was aimed for a possible study of multi-step oxidation of glycerol. Voltammetric studies over potential ranges of -1.5 to 0.1V vs. Ag/AgCl (3 m KCl), have showed that these electrodes displayed mostly quasi-reversible type of electrode processes for the oxidation of glycerol. Various parameters have also been examined for experimental optimum conditions. In general, the maximum oxidative current density for all electrodes was obtained at pH 7 with weight of lipase 0.1-0.15 g and concentration of nicotine adenosine dinucleotide (nad+) 1-3 mm. The findings were expected useful in the fabrication of anodes in a biofuel cell using glycerol from cooking palm oil.

Organotin and organolead compounds were determined in sediments of the Suez Gulf The concentrations of Tributyltin (TBT) ranged from 0.27 to 2.77 with an average value of 1.37 μgg-1;dry wt. However, the concentrations of dibutyltin (DBT) ranged from 0.07 to 2.27 with an average value of 0.58 μgg-1;dry wt. A significant correlation was found between TBT and DBT with r = 0.82, (p = 0.05) indicating that the occurrence of DBT is mainly related to the degradation of TBT. Generally, the high concentration of TBT was attributed to shipping activity in harbours. In addition, Diphenyltin (DPhT) concentrations ranged from not detected to 2.09 with an average of 1.10 μgg-1 dry wt. Antifouling agents, industrial discharge and the influence of sewage discharge are the main sources of pollution by DPhT compounds in Suez Gulf. On the other side, organolead (OLC) concentrations ranged from 10.88 - 440.2 with an average of 168.7 ngg-1;dry wt. A significant setting of OLC recorded in sediments of Suez Gulf was mainly attributed to cars exhaust and/or spelling and direct evaporation of fuels.
