Baghdad cit. t. it. exit.part.cularly in t.e presence of Pht.alic Acid Est.rs(PAEs).In bot. dry and wet.seasons and from five sit.s of t.e river,nine environment.l fact.rs(t.rbidit.,t.t.l dissolved solids,pH,dissolved oxygen,Chloride,nit.at.,phosphat.,sulfat.,and Biological oxygen demand)and t.ree PAEs(di-n-but.l pht.alat.(DBP),di-isononyl pht.alat.(DiNP),and di-2-et.yl hexyl pht.alat.(DEHP))were *** revealed t.at.t.e river has high levels of t.rbidit. and t.t.l dissolved solids,slight.y alkaline,and well-aerat.d(dissolved oxygen>7 mg/L).Chloride,nit.at.,phosphat.,and sulfat. values varied bet.een seasons,as high values were recorded in t.e wet.*** oxygen demand levels were higher during t.e dry *** highest.value of t.t.l PAEs(2.20μg/L)was observed during t.e dry season,and t.e lowest.value was in t.e wet.season(1.16μg/L).t.e HQ result. revealed t.at.t.e river was ranked as a moderat. risk *** t.e wat.r qualit. index and environment.l risk index classified t.e wat.r qualit. as a poor cat.gory,wit. a high-risk score in t.e st.dy sit.s wit.in Baghdad ***,despit. t.e accept.ble limit.of PAEs in t.e river's wat.r(t. presence is an early alarm t. wit.draw at.ent.on t. it. environment.l *** findings highlight.t.e need for appropriat. measures t. cont.ol and remove pollut.nt. t. ensure a safe and healt.y wat.r supply in t.e t.gris River.

RNA int.rference （RNAi） of vit.l insect.genes is a pot.nt.al t.ol for t.rget.d pest.cont.ol. However, select.on of t.e right.t.rget.genes is a challenge because t.e RNAi efficacy is known t. vary among insect.species. Cot.on mealybug, Phenacoccus solenopsis, is a phloem-feeding economically import.nt.crop pest. We evaluat.d t.e RNAi of 2 vit.l genes, Bursicon （PsBur） and V-At.ase （Ps V-At.ase） as pot.nt.al t.rget. in P. solenopsis for it. cont.ol. PCR fragment. of PsBur and PsV-At.ase were amplified using cDNA synt.esized from t.e t.t.l RNA. t.e PCR amplicons were cloned int. Pot.t. virus X （PVX） t. develop recombinant.PVX for t.e inoculat.on ofNicot.ana t.bacum plant. for bioassays wit. healt.y P. solenopsis. Reverse-t.anscript.on-polymerase chain react.on （Rt. PCR） was used t. validat. t.e expression oft.ansgenes in t.e recombinant.PVX-inoculat.d plant. （t.eat.d）, and suppression of t.e t.rget.genes in t.e mealybugs exposed t. t.em. t.e Rt.PCR confirmed t.e expression of t.ansgenes in t.e t.eat.d plant.. mealybug individuals on t.eat.d plant. eit.er died or showed physical deformit.es. Furt.er, t.e populat.on of mealybug was significant.y reduced by feeding on N. t.bacum expressing RNAi t.iggers against.PsBur and Ps V-A t.ase. t.e result. conclude t.at.RNAi is act.vat.d in P. solenopsis by feeding on N. t.bacum expressing RNAi t.iggering element. of PsBur and Ps V-At.ase genes t.rough recombinant.PVX vect.r. Furt.er, V-At.ase and Bursicon genes are pot.nt.al t.rget. for RNAi-mediat.d cont.ol ofP. solenopsis.

t.e development.of microbial-based product. requires cert.in crit.ria for t.em t. be successfully commercialized. t.e product.must.meet.t.e following desirable crit.ria: effect.veness, cont.minat.on free, st.bilit., cost.effect.veness, and a prolonged shelf life. Cont.olling t.e drying process is crucial for ensuring t.e st.bilit. and durabilit. of t.e product. t.e t.adit.onal approach, which involved mechanical and nat.ral drying, led t. decreased product.vit. and qualit.. t.e object.ve of t.is research endeavour was t. achieve a dry process enhancement.while preserving t.e microbial qualit. of t.ichoderma asperellum (m103). t.e t.mperat.re and relat.ve humidit. during t.e drying period were monit.red under t.o condit.ons: wit. and wit.out.a dehumidifier. t.e result. demonst.at. t.at.t.e dehumidifier increases drying period efficiency by up t. 63%.
