Effect of radiation on compressibility of hot dense sodium and iron plasma using improved screened hydrogenic model with𝑙splitting

High pressure investigations of matter involve the study of strong shock wave dynamics within the materials which gives rise to many thermal effects leading to dissociation of molecules,ionization of atoms,and radiation emission,*** response of materials experiencing a strong shock can be determined by its shock Hugoniot calculations which are frequently applied in numerical and experimental studies in inertial confinement fusion,laboratory astrophysical plasma,*** studies involve high energy density plasmas in which the radiation plays an important role in determining the energy deposition and maximum compressibility achieved by the shock within *** this study,we present an investigation for the effect of radiation pressure on the maximum compressibility of the material using shock Hugoniot *** shock Hugoniot calculations,an equation of state(EOs)is developed in which electronic contributions for EOs calculations are taken from an improved screened hydrogenic model with−l splitting(I-sHmL)[High Energy Density Physics(2018)2648]under local thermodynamic equilibrium(LTE)*** thermal ionic part calculations are adopted from the state of the art Cowan model while the cold ionic contributions are adopted from the scaled binding energy *** shock Hugoniot calculations are carried out for sodium and iron plasmas and our calculated results show excellent agreement with published results obtained by using either sophisticated self-consistent models or the first principle study.

Dy2O3 is a rare earth oxide having a number of advanced applications in various fields including protective or antireflective coatings,main objective of this novel research work is to check the effect of Cr and Cu addition on different properties of Dy2O3 and achievement of antireflective thin films with enhanced abso *** films of these materials we re deposited using DC magnetron with reactive *** studies reveals the crystalline nature of thin films having Dy2O3(222)reflection in all samples with Cr2O3(116)and CuO(111)reflections in Cr and Cu containing *** emission scanning electron microscopy demonstrates the homogeneous deposition of thin films with uniform shape,size and distribution of *** index,extinction coefficient and absorption coefficient significantly increase while optical reflectance decreases with Cr and Cu mediation corroborating an improved antireflective *** imaginary part of dielectric constant is found to increase slightly with low tangent loss for Cr containing composition co nsidered favorable for energy storage applications.

A mathematical analysis of mHD blood flow of Eyring-Powell fluid through a constricted artery

The present study deals with the flow of blood through a stenotic artery in the presence of a uniform magnetic field. Different flow situations are taken into account by considering the regular and irregular shapes of stenosis lying inside the walls of artery. Blood inside the artery is assumed to be Eyring-Powell fluid. A mathematical model is developed and simplified under the physical assumptions of stenosis. The regular perturbation method is adopted to find the solutions for axial velocity and pressure gradient. The variations in pressure drop across the stenosis length, the impedance and the shear stress at the walls of stenotic artery are discussed in detail through graphs. It is observed that the Eyring-Powell fluid is helpful in reducing the resistance to the flow in stenotic artery. moreover, symmetric form of stenosis is more hazardous as compared to asymmetric stenosis.

Hybrid nanofluids are remarkable functioning liquids that are intended to reduce the energy loss while maximizing the heat *** the involvement of suction and nonlinear thermal radiation effects,this study attempted to explore the energy transmission features of the inclined magnetohydrodynamic(mHD)stagnation flow of CNTs-hybrid nanofluid across the nonlinear permeable stretching or shrinking *** work also included some noteworthy features like chemical reactions,variable molecular diffusivity,quadratic convection,viscous dissipation,velocity slip and heat omission *** appropriate similarity components,the model equations were modified to ODEs and computed by using the ham *** impact of various relevant flow characteristics on movement,heat and concentration profiles was investigated and plotted on a *** various model factors,the significance of drag friction,heat and mass transfer rate were also computed in tabular and graphical *** leads to the conclusion that such factors have a considerable impact on the dynamics of fluid as well as other engineering measurements of ***,viscous forces are dominated by increasing the values ofλ_(p),δ_(m)andδ_(q),and as a result,F(ξ)accelerates while the opposite trend is observed for m andφ.The drag friction is boosted by the augmentation m,λ_(p)andφ,but the rate of heat transfer *** to our findings,hybrid nanoliquid effects dominate that of ordinary nanofluid in terms of F(ξ),Θ(ξ)andφ(ξ)*** ham and the numerical technique(shooting method)were found to be in good agreement.

Ion population fraction calculations using improved screened hydrogenic model with l-splitting

Ion population fraction（IPF） calculations are very important to understand the radiative spectrum emitted from the hot dense matter. IPF calculations require detailed knowledge of all the ions and correlation interactions between the electrons of an ion which are present in a plasma environment. The average atom models, e.g., screened hydrogenic model with l-splitting（sHmL）, now have the capabilities for such calculations and are becoming more popular for in line plasma calculations. In our previous work [Ali A, shabbir Naz G, shahzad m s, Kouser R, Rehman A and Nasim m H 2018 High Energy Density Phys. 26 48], we have improved the continuum lowering model and included the exchange and correlation effects in sHmL. This study presents the calculation of IPF using classical theory of fluctuation for our improved screened hydrogenic model with l-splitting（I-sHmL） under local thermodynamic equilibrium conditions for iron and aluminum plasma over a wide range of densities and temperatures. We have compared our results with other models and have found a very good agreement among them.

The preparation of La_(0.9)Na_(0.1)CrO_(3)(LNCO),Ni_(0.5)Cu_(0.5)Fe_(2)O_(4)(NCFO)and their composites of the type e1xT La_(0.9)Na_(0.1)CrO_(3)(LNCO)t(x)Ni_(0.5)Cu_(0.5)Fe_(2)O_(4)(NCFO)ex?0.25,0.50T through solid state route is *** X-ray diffraction data analysis,the parent La_(0.9)Na_(0.1)CrO_(3)was found to crystallize in orthorhombic structure(Pnma)while Ni_(0.5)Cu_(0.5)Fe_(2)O_(4)has crystallized into the cubic structure(Fd3m)further verified via Retvield *** morphology and compositional studies were carried out using field emission scanning electron microscopy(FEsEm)and energy dispersive analysis of X-rays(EDAX),*** structure was confirmed via Raman characterization for the prepared *** sample formation was further verified through Fourier transform Infra-Red(FTIR)*** dielectric studies reveal the La_(0.9)Na_(0.1)CrO_(3)e13*10^(4)T and Ni_(0.5)Cu_(0.5)Fe_(2)O_(4)e1.83*10^(4)T exhibit high dielectric ***,their composites show abrupt drop in dielectric *** electric modulus study confirmed that the samples exhibit non-Debye character with spread of relaxation time constants.

Free convection in hybrid nanomaterial-saturated permeable media is crucial in various engineering *** present study aims to investigate the free convection of an aqueous-based hybrid nanomaterial through a zone under the combined effect of the Lorentz force and *** natural convection of the hybrid nanomaterial is modeled by implementing a control volume finite element method(CVFEm)-based code,whereas Darcy assumptions are used to model the porosity terms in the momentum buoyancy equation involving the average Nusselt number Nu_(ave),flow streamlines,and isotherm profiles.A formula for estimating Nu_(ave) is *** results show that the magnetic force retards the flow,and the fluid tends to attract the magnetic field ***_(ave) is directly correlated with the Rayleigh number and radiation;however,it is indirectly dependent on the Hartmann *** is the dominant mode at larger Darcy and Hartmann numbers.

Performance evaluation of multicast relay network using LDPC and convolutional channel codes along-with XOR network coding

In this paper, we have compared the performance of joint network channel coding （JNCC） for multicast relay network using low density parity check （LDPC） codes and Convolutional codes as channel codes while exclusive or （XOR） network coding used at the intermediate relay nodes. multicast relay transmission is a type of transmission scheme in which two fixed relay nodes contribute in the second hop of end-to-end transmission between base transceiver station （BTs） and a pair of mobile stations. We have considered one way and two way multicast scenarios to evaluate the bit error rate （BER） and throughput performance. It has been shown that when using XOR network coding at the intermediate relay nodes, the same transmission becomes possible in less time slots hence throughput performance can be improved. moreover we have also discussed two possible scenarios in the proposed system model, in which both diversity and multiplexing gain has been considered. It is worth notifying that BER and throughput achieved for LDPC codes is better than Convolutional codes for all the schemes discussed.

In this paper, we explore the spanning simplicial complex of wheel graph Wn on vertex set [n]. Combinatorial properties of the spanning simplicial complex of wheel graph are discussed, which are then used to compute the f-vector and Hilbert series of face ring k[Δs(Wn)] for the spanning simplicial complex Δs(Wn). moreover, the associated primes of the facet ideal IF(Δs(Wn)) are also computed.
