Growth of monodisperse nanospheres of mnFe_2O_4 with enhanced magnetic and optical properties

Highly dispersive nanospheres of mnFe204 are prepared by template free hydrothermal method. The nanospheres have 47.3-nm average diameter, narrow size distribution, and good crystallinity with average crystallite size about 22 nm. The reaction temperature strongly affects the morphology, and high temperature is found to be responsible for growth of uniform nanospheres. Raman spectroscopy reveals high purity of prepared nanospheres. High saturation magnetization （78.3 emu/g）, low coercivity （45 Oe, 10e = 79.5775 ***-1）, low remanence （5.32 emu/g）, and high anisotropy constant 2.84 × 10^4 J/m3 （10 times larger than bulk） are observed at room temperatures. The nearly snperparamagnetic behavior is ~ spin due to comparable size of nanospheres with superparamagnetic critical thameter Dcr spm The high value of Keff may be due to coupling between the pinned moment in the amorphous shell and the magnetic moment in the core of the nanospheres. The nanospheres show prominent optical absorption in the visible region, and the indirect band gap is estimated to be 0.98 eV from the transmission spectrum. The prepared mn ferrite has potential applications in biomedicine and photocatalysis.

magnetohydrodynamic peristaltic flow of Jeffery fluid in an asymmetric channel is addressed. The channel walls satisfy the convective conditions. Asymmetry here is con- sidered due to wave trains of different amplitudes and phases. Solutions for the velocity, temperature and pressure gradient are obtained using long wavelength approximation. Plots reflecting the impact of various parameters of interest are shown and examined.

甘蓝型油菜（canola,oilseed rape）是世界上最重要的油料作物之一,为人类提供食用油、牲畜业饲料和工业原料。由于巨大的人口压力,人们需要进一步提高作物的产量来满足人类的需求,利用作物的杂种优势是提高作物产量最有效的方法之一。细胞质雄性不育在油菜杂交种子的生产中应用最广泛。在过去的四十年里,人们在十字花科植物中发现了不同的细胞质雄性不育类型,同时发现了它们的恢复基因（Rf）。大多数恢复基因编码PPR蛋白,此外还有线粒体转录终止因子蛋白（m TERF）和类泛素超家族蛋白（UBL）。自2011年以来,由于育性恢复基因（RFL）与Rf基因高度相似,许多研究人员对其进行了研究。恢复基因通过与雄性不育的基因互作,在植物的育性恢复中发挥着重要作用。在當前的研究中,我們在單拷貝的Bna A09g45590D（RFL11）基因敲除中發現了幾個雄性不育系,我們將重點研究RFL-CmS的關係。我们通过使用CRISPR/Cas9介导的基因编辑技术得到了BnaRFL11（bnarfl11）的突变体。通过利用CRISPR/Cas9载体（p HSE401-2g R/Cas9）对基因进行多重编辑,该载体通过农杆菌介导的转化成功地转入到纯系甘蓝型油菜Wester中。在得到的108个独立株系中,88个（81.40%）带有T-DNA插入。T0和T1代突变体植物的稳定突变株系被检测出来,平均等位基因突变传递率为81%。此外,还发现了连续两代的无T-DNA突变株。脱靶效应分析表明,7个潜在的脱靶点没有显示出脱靶效应。设计的两个sgRNA在T0代的编辑效率分别为64.81%和46.29%。在两个目标位点发生编辑的突变体bnarfl11表现出明显的雄性不育表型。突变体植株的表型观察显示花药败育阶段与nap-CmS相似,Orf222、Orf139、Ap3和nad5c基因上调。bnarfl11的石蜡切片和q RT-PCR分析表明,BnaRFL11敲除会诱导转基因品系的雄性不育发生,并且BnaRFL11存在于A09染色体上,非常接近Rfn区域。为了确定BnaRFL11的功能特征,我们利用Ca mV35S启动子（PS2300载体）过表达BnaRFL11,并通过农杆菌介导将其转入到甘蓝型油菜中。形态学和细胞学分析表明,所有的花药都明显缩短,花粉量很少,存活率很低。BnaRFL11-OE的q RTPCR分析显示在花蕾和叶片中表达较高,表明PPR编码基因在植物的营养生长和生殖生长中都是必不可少的。由此我们的结果表明,BnaRFL11基因是一个重要的育性恢复基因,它的突变表现为雄性不育,该不育系在油菜的杂种利用中具有利用的潜力。

Length-weight relationship of eleven species of marine catfishes from the northern Arabian Sea coast of Pakistan

This study records length-weight relationships （LWRs） for eleven commercially important marine catfish species of the family Ariidae （sea catfishes） and Plotosidae （eel catfishes） from the northern Arabian Sea coast of Pakistan. The specimens were sampled from December 2014 to November 2015, using bottom trawls with various mesh sizes by commercial vessels. The species were Nemapteryx caelatus, Sciades sona, Arius gagora, Batrachocephalus mino, Neturna thalassina, N. bilineata, Osteogeneiosus militaris, Plicofollis dussumieri, P. tenuispinis, Plotosus limbatus, and P. lineatus. Of the eleven species, two species A. gagora and N. bilineata were recorded for the first time and LWRs for four species A. gagora, N. bilineata, S. sona, and B. mino still have no data in the FishBase database. In addition, new maximum length for each of the three species N. bilineata, O. militaris andB. mino was also found.

To control the robot and track the designed trajectory with uncertain disturbances in a specified precision range, an adaptive fuzzy control scheme for the robot arm manipulator is discussed. The controller output error method （COEm） is used to design the adaptive fuzzy controller. A few or all of the parameters of the controller are adjusted by using the gradient descent algorithm to minimize the output error. COEm is adopted in the adaptive control system for the robot arm manipulator with 5-DOF. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the method and the real time adjustment of the parameters.

Rare earth-doped spinel nano ferrites are attaining importance as heterogeneous nanocatalysts for the degradation of organic *** earth metal doping increases the electrical and optical properties,as well as the surface-to-volume ratio of the bare *** this work,NiFe_(2)O_(4)(NF) and Nd-NiFe_(2)O_(4)(NF-1) were successfully synthesized via the co-precipitation *** nanotubes(CNT)-based nanocomposite(NF-2) was prepared using the ultra-sonication *** prepared materials were analyzed via various physiochemical *** degradation efficiency of these materials was analyzed for the degradation of Rhodamine B,methylene blue,and benzoic acid,NF-2 shows the highest efficiency among all the prepared ***-2 shows 83.87%,90.80%,and 66.96% degradation of Rhodamine B,methylene blue,and benzoic acid,*** reason for the superior activity of NF-2 is the existence of rare earth Nd ions and *** surface area of NF increases due to the presence of carbon nanotubes and enhanced surface area provides more active sites for the degradation reaction.

Nitrogen processed, cold sprayed commercially pure(CP)-Al coatings on mg-based alloys mostly lack acceptable hardness, wear resistance and most importantly are highly susceptible to localized corrosion in chloride containing solutions. In this research, commercially pure α-Ti top coating having good pitting potential(~1293 mV_(SCE)), high microhardness(HV_(0.025): 263.03) and low wear rate was applied on a CP-Al coated mg-based alloy using high pressure cold spray technology. Potentiodynamic polarization(PDP) curves indicated that the probability of transition from metastable pits to the stable pits for cold spayed(CS) Al coating is considerably higher compared to that with the CS Ti top coating(for Ti/Al/mg system). In addition, CS Ti top coating was in the passivation region in most pH ranges even after 48 h immersion in 3.5 wt% NaCl solution. The stored energy in the CS Ti top coating(as a passive metal) was presumed to be responsible for the easy passivation. Immersion tests indicated no obvious pits formation on the intact CS Ti top coating surface and revealed effective corrosion protection performance of the CS double layered noble barrier coatings on mg alloys in 3.5 wt% NaCl solution even after 264 h.
