Effectiveness of biofertilizers foliar application on yield and quality traits of flax(Linum usitatissimum L.)

Flax is considered to be one of the most significant dual-purpose crops for oil and fiber production in Egypt and *** have a substantial impact on various metabolic processes,including increased photo-synthesis,endogenous hormone levels,ion absorption,nucleic acid synthesis,and protein *** factors collectively contribute to the growth and development of ***,this study aims to investigate how three biofertilizers(Algae extract,CmS as a by-product of yeast,and metalosate multi minerals as amino acids)can enhance both the quantity and quality of flax seed yield under sandy soil *** field experiments were conducted at the Experimental Station of National Research Centre in Nubaria District,Behira Governorate,Egypt during two seasons(2021/2022)using a randomized complete block design(RCBD).The results revealed significant differences among all tested biofertilizers in terms of various characteristics studied in *** application of algae extract at a rate of 1.50 mL/L resulted in an increase in seed yield(ton/ha)by 26.69%&19.89%,straw yield(ton/ha)by 8.08%&17.12%,and oil yield(kg/ha)by 47.72%&33.69%compared to the control group during both seasons *** applications of algae extract at a rate of 1.50 mL/L along with CmS at a rate of 5 m L/L and amino acids at a rate of 1.50 mL/L demonstrated significantly higher macronutrient contents(N,P,K),micronutrient contents(Fe,Zn,mn),seed oil content,and protein content in flax seeds during both *** highest values for seed oil content and protein content%were obtained through foliar application of amino acids at a rate of 1.50 mL/*** can be concluded that foliar sprays with these bio-fertilizers effectively improved flax performance by increasing seed straw and oil yields,nutrients oil,protein and fatty acids seeds contents.

The combined effects of farm yard manure and boron application on growth,and oil quality of Canola grown under newly reclaimed soils

Two field experiments were conducted during the main seasons of 2021/2022 at the Research and Production Station of National Research Centre in Egypt to investigate the effects of farmyard manure(FYm)and boron on Canola growth,yield,oil yield,and *** results unequivocally demonstrated that the combined application of FYm at a rate of 14.4 ton ha^(-1)with a foliar spray of boron at 100 ppm positively influenced plant characteristics,leading to enhanced growth rates and higher yields compared to the control ***,this integrated approach significantly improved nutrient content by enhancing levels of oil content,carbohydrates,proteins,phenolics,flavonoids,and total soluble *** findings provide compelling evidence that utilizing farm manure along with boron can effectively enhance Canola properties in newly reclaimed soils while promoting sustainable agricultural practices.

Biodistribution and preparation of technetium-99m-labeled D-D3 monoclonal antibody against pro-gastrin-releasing peptide ~31-98） in mice

Background We previously reported that iodine-131（131^I）-Iabeled anti-pro-gastrin-releasing peptide （ProGRP（31-98）） monoclonal antibody D-D3 could selectively accumulate in the tumor sites of nude mice bearing small cell lung cancer （SCLC） xenografts. However, 1311-D-D3 was cleared slowly from the body, and the best radioimmunoimaging time for SCLC was 72-96 hours after injection. The aims of this study were to radiolabel anti-ProGRP（31-98） D-D3 monoclonal antibody with technetium-99m（99m^Tc） and to investigate the biodistribution of this antibody in healthy ICR mice. methods D-D3was labeled with 99m^Tc via the 2-mercaptoethanol reduction method. 99m^Tc-D-g3 was purified by the gel column separation method. The labeling efficiency and radiochemical purity were measured by thin-layer chromatography. The immunological activity of 99m^Tc-D-O3 was determined with cell conjugation assays. 99m^Tc-D-D3 was injected into healthy ICR mice via a tail vein, and all the healthy ICR mice were sacrificed by cervical dislocation at a designated time. Then, the blood and major organs were removed and weighed, and counted in a gamma scintillation counter to determine the percentage of the injected dose per gram （%ID/g）. Results The labeling rate and the radiochemical purity of 99m^TC-D-D3 were （73.87±2.89）% and （94.13±4.49）%, respectively. The immunobinding rates of 99m^Tc-O-D3 to the human small cell lung cancer NCI-H446 cell line and lung adenocarcinoma A549 cell line were （81.2±2.37）% and （24.3±1.46）%, respectively. The distribution data of normal ICR mice demonstrated that 99m^TC-D-D3was mainly distributed in the liver, kidney and lung, and less in the brain tissue and muscle. Conclusions 99m^Tc-D-D3 antibody not only had high radiochemical purity, but also had good stability both in vitro and in vivo, and maintained good immunological activity. 99m^Tc-D-D3 was metabolized mainly in the kidney and liver, and the blood radioactivity decreased rapidly. A Remark on Strong Law of Large Numbers for Weighted U-Statistics

Let {wn,i1,i2 im ; 1 ≤ i1 〈 i2 〈 …… 〈im 〈 n, n ≥ m} be a matrix array of real numbers. motivated by a result of Choi and Sung （1987）, in this note we are concerned with establishing a strong law of large numbers for weighted U-statistics with kernel h of degree m. We show that whenever SUP n≥m max1〈i1〈i2〈…〈im≤｜wn i1,i2 i,im｜〈∞, where 0 = Eh（X1, X2,..., Xm）. The proof of this result is based on a new general result on complete convergence, which is a fundamental tool, for array of real-valued random variables under some mild conditions.

Anti TB drug resistance in Tanga,Tanzania:a cross sectional facility base prevalence among pulmonary TB patients

Objective:To determine the prevalence and risk factors associated with drug resistance tuberculosis(TB) at facility-base level in Tanga,***:A total of 79 mycobacterium tuberculosis(mTB) isolates included in the study were collected from among372(312 new and 60 previously treated) TB suspects self referred to four TB clinics during a prospective study conducted from November 2012 to January *** and drug susceptibility test of the isolates was performed at the institute of medical microbiology and epidemiology of infectious diseases,University hospital,Leipzig,*** on the patient's characteristics were obtained from structured questionnaire administered to the patients who gave informed verbal *** bivariate logistic regression analysis was performed to assess the risk factors for drug *** significance level was determined at PmDRTB were 12.7%and 6.3%*** prevalence of any drug resistance and mDRTB among new cases were 11.4%and 4.3%respectively,whereas among previously treated cases was 22.2%*** treated patients were more likely to develop anti-TB drug *** was no association between anti-TB drug resistances(including mDRTB) with the risk factors ***:High proportions of anti TB drug resistance among new and previously treated cases observed in this study suggest that,additional efforts still need to be done in identifying individual cases at facility base level for improved TB control programmes and drug resistance survey should continuously be monitored in the country.

Investigation of Punch Resistance of the Allomyrira dichtoloma Beetle Forewing

In this study, the punch resistance of the beetle forewing was investigated to address the ability of the forewing against the external force. The punch resistance of the forewing was measured for different sizes and sexes of beetles using a conventional testing method in conjunction with the Digital Image Correlation （DIC） technique. The results showed that the maximum fracture load was measured around 23 N for the female beetle and around 20.2 N for the male beetle in the front-side punch test. moreover, the fracture load in the front-side punch test was higher than that in the back-side punch test for both male and female beetles. This means that the beetle forewing plays a protection role against external loads. Furthermore, the puncture energy in the front-side punch test for the female beetle （6.91 m J） was a little higher than that for the male beetle （5.27 mJ）. In addition, the DIC results revealed that the first crack occurred along the trachea line and the second crack then appeared in the direction that was perpendicular to the direction of the first crack. This study provides a com- prehensive understanding of the mechanical protection properties of the beetle forewing and offers a good lesson for studying lightweight bio-inspired composite material.

Oxidative coupling of methane over LaAlO3 perovskite catalysts prepared by a co-precipitation method: Effect of co-precipitation pH value

Oxidative coupling of methane(OCm) was conducted over LaAlO3X catalysts that were prepared by a coprecipitation method using different co-precipitation pH values(X = 6–10). The aim is to investigate the effect of p H values on the catalytic activity of La AlO3 catalysts in this reaction. The results showed that the co-precipitation pH value affected greatly on the formation of chemical species of precipitate precursors in the co-precipitation step, leading to different phases of the finally obtained LaAlO3 *** the co-precipitation pH value increased up to 8, the lanthanum-related phases such as La2 O3 and La(OH)3 were gradually formed as by-products, preventing the formation of LaAlO3 perovskite crystalline structure and facilitating the formation of oxygen vacancies on catalyst surface. However, at pH value of9 or higher, the lanthanum content in the precipitate precursor was increased greatly. Not LaAlO3 perovskite but lanthanum-related phases were developed as main phases, reducing their catalytic activities in this reaction. Among LaAlO3 catalysts, the one prepared at pH = 8 showed the highest C2 yield due to its well-developed oxygen vacancies and electrophilic lattice oxygen. Therefore, the co-precipitation pH value strongly affected the LaAlO3 catalyst activity in OCm reaction. A precious pH control should be required to prepare various perovskite catalysts for the OCm.

Photodiode-Based Chua＇s Circuit with Light Controllability

We present a photodiode-based Chua＇s chaotic circuit that is controllable by light. The proposed circuit consists of an inductor, two passive capacitors, a photodiode-based variable resistor, and a positive feedback trans- conductor with negative nonlinearity. The chaotic dynamics of the circuit were verified by using the simulation program with integrated circuit emphasis analysis using the 0.35 #m complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor process parameters. The gain results （such as the time waveform~ frequency analysis, three-dimensional attractor, bifurcation and Lyapunov exponents diagrams） confirm that the chaotic behavior of the circuit could be controlled by light intensity via the photodiode-based variable resistor.

Solid-state phase transformations toward a metal-organic framework of 7-connected Zn_(4)0 secondary building units

In the development of metal-organic frameworks(mOFs),secondary building units(SBUs)have been utilized as molecular modules for the construction of nanoporous materials with robust *** solvothermal synthetic conditions,dynamic changes in the metal coordination environments and ligand coordination modes of SBUs determine the resultant product ***,mOF phases with new topologies can also be achieved by post-synthetic treatment of as-synthesized mOFs via the introduction of acidic or basic moieties that cause the simultaneous cleavage/reformation of coordination bonds in the solid *** this sense,we studied the solid-state transformation of two ndc-based Zn-mOFs(ndc=1,4-naphthalene dicarboxylate)with different SBUs but the same pcu topology to another mOF with sev *** of the chosen mOFs with pcu nets is[Zn_(2)(ndc)_(2)(bpy)]_(n)(bpy=4,4,-bipyridine),(6C_(bpy)-mOF)consisting of a 6-connected pillared-paddlewheel SBU,and the other is IRmOF-7 composed of 6-connected Zn40(C 00)6 SBUs and *** post-structural modification,these pcu mOFs were converted into the same mOF with sev topology constructed from the uncommon 7-connected Zri_(4)O(COO)_(7)SBU(7C-mOF).The appropriate post-synthetic conditions for the transformation of each SBUs were systematically *** addition,the effect of the pillar molecules in the pillared-paddlewheel mOFs on the topology conversion was studied in terms of the linker basicity,which determines the inertness during the solid-state phase *** post-synthetic modification approach is expected to expand the available methods for designing and synthesizing mOFs with controlled topologies.
