Th. effect of wall temperature on th. ch.racteristics of random combustion of micro organic particles with.recirculation was investigated. Th. effect of recirculating in micro-combustors is noticeable, h.nce it is necessary to present a model to describe th. combustion process in th.se tech.ologies. Recirculation ph.nomenon is evaluated by entering th. exh.usted h.at from th. post flam zone into th. preh.at zone. In th.s work, for modeling of random situation at th. flame front, th. source term in th. equation of energy was modeled considering random situation for volatizing of particles in preh.at zone. Th. comparison of obtained results from th. proposed model by experimental data regards th.t th. random model h.s a better agreement with.experimental data th.n non-random model. Also, according to th. results obtained by th.s model, wall temperature affects th. amount of h.at recirculation directly and h.gh.r values of wall temperature will lead to h.gh.r amounts of burning velocity and flame temperature.

Objective:To improvein vitro embryo production in buffalo by supplementation of L-ascorbic acid during maturation and development (experiment 1) and combination with.anoth.r antioxidant as cysteamine (experiment 2).meth.ds:Two experiments were performed, th. first one aimed to evaluate th. different concentrations (0, 25, 50, 100 μm) of L-ascorbic acid on embryo developmental rate of buffalo oocytes. Th. L-ascorbic acid was added to th. maturation and culture media. In th. second experiment, oocytes were cultured in media with.two type of antioxidant (ascorbic acid + cysteamine) or ascorbic acid ***:Th.re was a significant increase in cleavage rate at 25, 50 μm th.n 100 μm and control group. But, th. blastocyst rate was h.gh.r at 50 μm ascorbic acid th.n oth.r concentrations (0, 25, 100 μm). Supplementation of ascorbic acid and cysteamine to maturation and cultured media improved embryo development th.n ascorbic acid ***: Using of 50 μm L-ascorbic acid duringin vitro maturation and development improve th. developmental competence of buffalo oocytes, th.s effect was increase with.th. presence of cysteamine.

Uniaxial Compressive Strength.(UCS) and modulus of elasticity (E) are th. most important rock parameters required and determined for rock mech.nical studies in most civil and mining projects. In th.s study, two math.matical meth.ds, regression analysis and Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs), were used to predict th. uniaxial compressive strength.and modulus of elasticity. Th. P-wave velocity, th. point load index, th. Sch.idt h.mmer rebound number and porosity were used as inputs for both.meth.ods. Th. regression equations sh.w th.t th. relationsh.p between P-wave velocity, point load index, Sch.idt h.mmer rebound number and th. porosity input sets with.uniaxial compressive strength.and modulus of elasticity under conditions of linear rela-tions obtained coefficients of determination of (R2) of 0.64 and 0.56, respectively. ANNs were used to improve th. regression re-sults. Th. generalized regression and feed forward neural networks with.two outputs (UCS and E) improved th. coefficients of determination to more acceptable levels of 0.86 and 0.92 for UCS and to 0.77 and 0.82 for E. Th. results sh.w th.t th. proposed ANN meth.ds could be applied as a new acceptable meth.d for th. prediction of uniaxial compressive strength.and modulus of elasticity of intact rocks.

We apply th. localized surface plasrnon resonance （LSPR） of gold nanoparticles （GNPs） covalently coupled with.cytoch.orne c （cyt c） to create a nanobiosensor for detecting h.drogen sulfide （h.S） in th. range of 15 lOOppb. monolayer formation of GNPs on glass surface functionalized with.3-aminopropyltrirneth.xysilane （APTmS） is performed for fabricating a ch.p-based format of th. optical transducer. By ch.mical introduction of sh.rt-ch.in th.ol derivatives on cyt c protein sh.ll via its lysine residues, a very fast self-assembled rnonolayer （SAm） of cyt c is formed on th. GNPs. Significant sh.fts in th. LSPR peak （△λLSPR） are observed by reacting h.S with.cyt c. Results sh.w a linear relationsh.p between △λLSPR and h.S concentration. Furth.rmore, sh.fts in th. LSPR peak are reversible and th. peak positions return to th.ir pre-exposure values once th. h.S is removed. Th. experirnental results strongly indicate th.t th. protein based LSPR ch.p can be successfully used as a simple, fast, sensitive and quantitative sensor for h.S detection.

Th. coastal seawater of mediterranean of Alexandria receives large amount of disch.rged waters containing industrial wastes, sewage, and agricultural and domestic drainage. Fluoride and some parameters were(ch.mical and ph.sical) determined. Th. data gave indication th.t th. content and th. amount of th. disch.rged water largely affect th. ch.mical composition of th. coastal water. Stepwise regression analysis was h.gh.y significant and th. model was very fruitful, wh.re th. observed and calculated values were mostly concordant. Th.s may indicated th.t th.re was a relation between fluoride content in coastal seawater and its content in th. disch.rged water.

An investigation of th. optical properties of a GaAs sph.rical quantum dot wh.ch.is located at th. center of a Ga1-xAlxAs cylindrical nano-wire h.s been performed in th. presence of an external electric field. Th. band nonparabolicity effect is also considered using th. energy dependent effective mass approximation. Th. energy eigenvalues and corresponding wave functions are calculated by finite difference approximation and th. reliability of calculated wave functions is ch.cked by computing orth.gonality. Using computed energy eigenvalues and wave functions, th. linear,th.rd-order nonlinear and total optical absorption coefficients and refractive index ch.nges are examined in detail. It is found th.t(i) Presence of electric field causes both.blue and red sh.fts in absorption spectrum;(ii) Th. absorption coefficients sh.ft toward lower energies by taking into account th. conduction band nonparabolicity;(iii) For large values of electric field th. effect of conduction band nonparabolicity is less dominant and parabolic band is estimated correctly;(iv) In th. presence of electric field and conduction band nonparabolicity th. nonlinear term of absorption coefficient rapidly increases by increasing incident optical intensity. In oth.r words, th. saturation in optical spectrum occurs at lower incident optical intensities.

Evaluation of various fungicides against needle bligh. disease of pine was carried out at Sh.d Kash.ir University of Agriculture Sciences and Tech.ology of Kash.ir （India） during th. year 2008 and 2009. Applica- tion of various fungicides were evaluated in vivo at dif- ferent concentrations. h.wever in both. mist-ch.mber and poly-ch.mber, th. Blue pine （Pinus wallich.ana Jackson） seedlings treated with.h.xaconazole 5EC （@ 0.03 %） or carbendazim 50WP （@ 0.1%） depicted significantly less disease incidence and intensity. Th. seedlings treated with.mancozeb 75WP （@ 0.3 %） and ch.oroth.lonil 75WP （@ 0.3 %） exh.bited less disease incidence and intensity. Increase in relative h.midity from 60 to 100 % signifi- cantly enh.nced needle bligh. disease incidence and intensity. In field trial th. fungitoxicants used eith.r as single spray or protectant followed by systemic fungitoxi- cant spray significantly reduced disease incidence in Blue pine compared to ch.ck. Th. mean disease incidence in fungitoxicant treated plants varied from 11.82 to 25.51% as compared to 36.03 % in control.
