Photometric and Spectroscopic Study of Ten Low mass ratio Contact Binary Systems:Orbital Stability,O'Connell Effect and Infrared Calcium Line Filling

Low mass ratio contact binary systems are more likely to have unstable orbits and potentially *** addition,such systems exhibit characteristics such as starspots and high energy emissions(UV)suggestive of chromospheric and magnetic *** curve modeling of ten contact binary systems is *** were found to be of extreme low mass ratio ranging from 0.122 to 0.24 and three were found to be potentially unstable and possible merger *** of the infrared calcium absorption lines is a marker of increased chromospheric *** use the available Large Sky Area multi-Object Fiber Spectroscopic Telescope spectra along with matched standard spectra(broadened for rotation)to measure the excess filling of the central core depression flux of the two main infrared calcium absorption linesλ8542 andλ*** find that all reported contact binaries have excess filling of the core flux in the infrared calcium *** of the systems reported were also observed by the Galaxy Evolution Explorer mission and we find that all three have features of excess ultraviolet emissions further adding evidence for increased chromospheric activity in low mass ratio contact *** of both orbital stability and absorption line filling is dependent on the determination of geometric and absolute parameters from light curve *** an insignificant number of contact binary light curves exhibit the O’Connell effect,usually attributed to *** discuss the inclusion of starspots in light curve solutions and how they influence the geometric and absolute parameters.

Background: Non-implantable bone anchored hearing devices (BChDs) are utilized for patients with conductive or mixed hearing loss who are unsuitable for conventional hearing aids or have unresolved middle ear issues. These devices can be surgically implanted or attached using adhesive plates, dental sticks, elastic headbands, or bone conduction spectacles. Optimal fitting of bone conduction spectacles requires appropriate frame selection and contact pressure in the temporal and mastoid areas. The ANSI S3.6 and DIN EN ISO 389-3 standards recommend a contact area of approximately 1.75 cm2 and a maximum force of 5.4 N for effective sound transmission and comfort. methods: This study aimed to evaluate the technical fit and mechanical stability of universal bone conduction hearing spectacles compared to established systems. A Sen-Pressure 02 thin-film sensor connected to an Arduino Uno R3 board measured contact force in the temporal and mastoid areas. Several BChDs were tested, including the Bruckhoff la belle BC D50/70, radioear B71 headset, radioear B71 elastic headband, Cochlear Baha SoundArc m, and Cochlear Baha elastic headband, on a PVC artificial head, with data analyzed using ANOVA and LSD post hoc tests. Results: The la belle BC D50/70 spectacles showed comparable contact force to established BChDs, ensuring adequate sound transmission and comfort. Significant differences were observed between the systems, with the radioear B71 headset exhibiting the highest forces. The la belle BC D50/70 had similar forces to the radioear B71 elastic headband. Conclusion: The la belle BC D50/70 universal bone conduction hearing spectacles are a technically equivalent alternative to established BChDs, maintaining pressure below 5.4 N. Future research should explore the impact of different contact forces on performance and comfort, and the integration of force control in modified spectacles. Neutron-rich P,Cl,and K isotopes,particularly those with neutron numbers of approximately N=28,have attracted extensive experimental and theoretical *** utilize the ab initio valence-space in-medium similarity renormalization group approach,based on chiral nucleon-nucleon and three-nucleon forces,to investigate the exotic properties of these *** calculations of the low-lying spectra are performed.A key finding is the level inversion between 3/2_(1)^(+)and 1/2_(1)^(+)states in odd-A isotopes,attributed to the inversion ofπ0xod_(3/2) andπls_(1/2) single-particle *** ab initio calculations,which incorporate the three-nucleon forces,correlate closely with existing experimental *** calculations of effective proton single-particle energies provide deeper insights into the shell evolution for Z=14 and 16 *** results indicate that the three-body force plays important roles in the shell evolution for Z=14 and 16 sub-shells with neutron numbers ranging from 20 to ***,systematic ab initio calculations are conducted for the low-lying spectra of odd-odd *** results correspond with experimental data and provide new insights for future research into these isotopes up to and beyond the drip line.

The behavior of non-Newtonian power-law nanofluids under free convection heat transfer conditions in a cooled square enclosure equipped with a heated fin is investigated *** particular,the impact of nanofluids,composed of water and Al_(2)O_(3),TiO_(2),and Cu nanoparticles,on heat transfer enhancement is *** aim of this research is also to analyze the influence of different parameters,including the rayleigh number(ra=10^(4)-10^(6)),nanoparticle volume fraction(φ=0%-20%),non-Newtonian power-law indexes(n=0.6-1.4),and fin dimensions(Ar=0.3,0.5,and 0.7).Streamlines and isotherms are used to depict flow and related heat transfer *** indicate that thermal performance improves with increasing rayleigh number,regardless of the nanoparticle type or nanofluid rheological *** suggests that the buoyancy force has a significant impact on heat transfer,particularly near the heat *** Nusselt number is more sensitive to variations in Cu nanoparticle volume fractions compared to Al₂O₃and TiO₂.moreover,the average Nusselt numbers for power-law nanofluids with n1)are greater(smaller)than for Newtonian fluids due to the decrease(increase)in viscosity with increasing(decreasing)shear rate,at the same values of rayleigh number ra owing to the amplification(attenuation)of the convective ***,the most substantial enhancement is observed with Cu-water shear-thinning nanofluid,where the Nusselt number increases by 136%when changing from Newtonian to shear thinning behavior and by 154.9%when adding 16%nanoparticle volume ***,an even larger increase of 57%in the average Nusselt number is obtained on increasing the fin length from 0.3 to 0.7.

The ground-state mass excess of the T_(z)=−2 drip-line nucleus ^(22)Al is measured for the first time as 18103(10)keV using the newly-developed Bρ-defined isochronous mass spectrometry method at the cooler storage ring in *** new mass excess value allowed us to determine the excitation energies of the two low-lying 1+states in ^(22)Al with significantly reduced uncertainties of 51 *** compared to the analogue states in its mirror nucleus ^(22)F,the mirror energy differences of the two 1^(+)states in the ^(22)Al-^(22)F mirror pair are determined to be−625(51)keV and−330(51)*** excitation energies and mirror energy differences are used to test the state-of-the-art ab initio valence-space in-medium similarity renormalization group calculations with four sets of interactions derived from the chiral effective field *** mechanism leading to the large mirror energy differences is investigated and attributed to the occupation of theπs_(1/2) orbital.

The main aims of the current study are to determine the morphological features of the periglacial landforms(non-sorted step,mud circle,stony earth circle,thufur,and congeliturbation)located on the Ilgaz mountains,examine the physicochemical and mineralogical properties with pedological processes of the soils,and assess of the effects of climatic conditions controlling the development of *** Ilgaz mountains(2587 m a.s.l.),located in the Western Black Sea Region,within the Anatolian mountains,are important in terms of periglacial landforms(mud circles,stony earth circles,thufurs,non-sorted steps,non-sorted stripes,congeliturbation deposits,and block currents).The descriptive statistics of 123 periglacial landforms measured by fieldworks were *** distribution of freezing and thawing in the Ilgaz mountains throughout the year was evaluated,and it was found that freezing takes place between December and march,freezing-thawing takes place in April,may,October and November,and thawing takes place between June and *** to soil properties,organic matter content changes from 1.88%to 12.72%in non-sorted step soils,while it is between 2.03%and 12.24%in stony earth circle *** organic matter is observed to be close to congeliturbation deposits at lower ratios compared to non-sorted steps,stony earth circles and mud *** soil reactions on stony earth circles and non-sorted steps vary between slightly acidic and slightly *** the other hand,soil samples taken from the mud circles are different from those taken from the non-sorted steps and stony earth *** soil reaction is acidic,and ph changes between 4.86 and *** lime content also varies between 2.81%and 32.08%,with an average of 12.02%.The texture properties of soils are dominantly loam and clay loam,as in the non-sorted steps,stony earth circles,and mud *** their mineralogical properties,the XRD study was carried out to determine the primer mineral

Objective:Rheumatoid arthritis(ra)requires comprehensive *** nursing protocols may enhance outcomes,but evidence is *** study evaluated the effect of a structured nursing protocol on ra *** and methods:In this one-group pre-post study,30 Egyptian ra patients completed assessments before and after a 12-week nursing protocol comprising education,psychosocial support,and self-management *** included clinical evaluation of joint counts,erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),and C-reactive protein(CRP)and patient-reported Arthritis Self-Efficacy Scale(ASES),health Assessment Questionnaire(hAQ),Visual Analog Scale(VAS)for pain,and hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale(hADS).Results:The study demonstrated significant improvements in both clinical-and patient-reported *** count decreased from 18.4±4.2 to 14.2±3.8(Pm 30.1±6.8 mm/h to 25.5±6.8 mm/h(Pm 15.2±3.6 mg/L to 11.8±2.9 mg/L(Pmes showed a marked increase in ASES score from 140±25 to 170±30(PhAQ from 1.6±0.4 to 1.3±0.3(Pm 7.8±1.7 to 6.2±1.2(PhADS anxiety and depression scores from 11±3 to 8±2(P2 to 7±1(Pmproved clinical disease activity,physical functioning,pain,self-efficacy,and emotional well-being in ra patients.A multifaceted nursing intervention appears beneficial for optimizing ra outcomes.
