Five perovs.ite ceram.cs.s.m.les.of Ba_(1-x)Er_(x)s.O_(3) with x=0.00,0.05,0.10,0.15,and 0.20 were s.nthes.zed us.ng the conventional s.lid-s.ate reaction *** prepared s.m.les.were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier trans.orm. infrared(FTIR),and UV-Vis.*** s.ielding properties.agains. ionizing radiation were als. *** XRD analys.s.s.ows.the perovs.ite cubic s.ructure as.the m.jor phas. in all *** FTIR reveals.a dis.inctive band around 614-620 cm.(-1) as.ribed to the antis.m.etric O-s.-O ***-Vis.s.ectros.opy was.us.d to determ.ne the bandgap according to diffus. reflectance,and the res.lts.dis.lay a fixed enhancem.nt in the bandgap from.3.2 to 3.3 eV for all ***-ray s.ielding properties.of the s.nthes.zed s.m.les.were experim.ntally m.as.red and com.ared with XCOm.com.utational *** relative differences.Δ,%)between experim.ntal and theo retical values.are low and fall within the 0.446%-7.10%*** addition of Er leads.to the enhanced dens.ty,neutron,and gam.a s.ielding *** contras.,charged particles.s.ielding param.ters.gradually reduce with ris.ng Er *** res.lts.s.gges. that Ba_(1-x)Er_(x)s.O_(3) s.m.les.can be us.d in different radiation s.ielding applications.

Control and Prevention/Advis.ry Com.ittee on Im.unization Practices.CDC/ACIP)is.ued im.unization recom.endations.to protect this.patient *** To as.es. the adherence of patients.with Dm.to the CDC/ACIP im.unization recom.endations.in s.udi Arabia and to identify the factors.as.ociated with the vaccine adherence *** An obs.rvational retros.ective s.udy conducted in 2023 was.us.d to collect data on the vaccination records.from.13 diabetes.care centers.in s.udi Arabia with 1000 eligible patients.in phas. I with data collected through chart review and 709 patients.in phas. Purpos.: To evaluate axial length before and after the photorefractive keratectom. (PRK) and las.r in s.tu keratom.leus.s.(LAs.K). s.tting: Alhokam. Eye Center, Riyadh s.udi Arabia. Des.gn: A cros.-s.ctional s.udy. m.thods. The s.udy s.m.le was.com.ris.d of 106 eyes.of 54 patients. Patients.were divided into 2 groups.bas.d on whether they had photorefractive s.rgery (PRK group) or las.r in s.tu keratom.lues.s.(LAs.K group). The intra-group com.aris.n was.perform.d of the changes.in axial length before and after s.rgery us.ng IOLm.s.er. P Res.lts. There were 76 eyes.(39 patients. in the PRK group with the m.an age of 25.10 ± 3.47 years. the m.an preoperative s.herical equivalent of -3.16 ± 1.75 D, and the m.an preoperative axial length of 24.79 ± 1.02 m.. In the LAs.K group, there were 30 eyes.(15 patients. with the m.an age of 25.13 ± 4.91 years.and the m.an preoperative s.herical equivalent of -5.58 ± 1.98 D and the m.an preoperative axial length of 25.67 ± 1.35 m.. Pos.operatively, the m.an axial length was.24.70 ± 1.14 m. in the PRK group and 25.60 ± 1.33 m. in the LAs.K group. The m.an change between the preoperative and pos.operative axial length was.s.atically s.gnificant in both groups.(P Conclus.on: There was.a s.atically s.gnificant decreas. in the axial length m.as.rem.nts.after PRK or LAs.K for m.opia.

Purpos.: The purpos. of this.cas. report is.to s.are and s.read the awarenes. of diagnos.ng and m.naging idiopathic intracranial hypertens.on in atypical s.enarios.as.in this.cas., who pres.nted with m.ltiple other m.dical conditions. and had no papilloedem.. The pres.nting s.gns.and s.m.tom. of m.re headache were m.s.eading. The other m.dical conditions.could have explained the patient’s.headache. Thes. included cervical s.ine os.eoporos.s. and m.ddle ear otolith dis.as.. This.cas. is.unique becaus. s.e was.found to have IIH without papilloedem., and des.ite having m.ltiple cancers.in the uterus. breas.s. and recently the thyroid, s.e had no m.lignant cells.in the Cs.. The patient was.treated for IIH, and her m.lignancies.were treated s.parately by the corres.onding phys.cians. m.thod: The patient was.as.es.ed in 2019, and was.followed up clos.ly till 2021, in collaboration with her neurologis., oncologis., and orthopedis.. Res.lt: The patient had IIH after her neurologis. attem.ted a lum.ar puncture, which s.owed high Cs. pres.ure. Conclus.on: Headache is.a com.on s.m.tom.pres.nted by patients.of different ages.and backgrounds. The abs.nce of papilloedem. does.not exclude the diagnos.s.of IIH. When pos.ible etiologies.for headache are ruled out (e.g. m.ddle and inner ear infections. anem.a, intracranial tum.rs. glaucom., etc.), chronic headaches.that do not res.ond to m.dications. and pres.nt with vis.al field changes.m.y require a lum.ar puncture.

Rare m.tal m.neralization of s., Nb-Ta and W is.encountered in the Gebel Dihm.t area (gda), s.uth- eas.ern As.an, Egypt. The m.neralization is.related to m.s.ovite granites.and their pegm.tite derivatives. The peg- m.tites.are divided into three types.according to their m.in m.neral as.em.lages. K-felds.ar-m.s.ovite-tourm.line, K-felds.ar-albite-m.s.ovite and albite-K-felds.ar-lepidolite veins. Petrogenetic s.udies.indicate that s. and Nb-Ta m.neralization extends.from.the late-m.gm.tic s.age to the pegm.tite and hydrotherm.l s.ages.of the (gda) s.ite. The albite-K-felds.ar-lepidolite granite is.com.os.d dom.nantly of albite, lepidolote, and quartz, with topaz, K-felds.ar and am.lygonite. The acces.ory m.nerals.are zircon, m.nazite, pollucite, colum.ite-tantalite, m.crolite and Ta-rich cas.iterite. Phenocrys.s.of quartz, topaz and K-felds.ar contain abundant inclus.ons.of albite laths.and occas.onal lepidolite crys.als.along growth zones.(s.owball texture), indicating s.m.ltaneous.crys.allization from.a s.bs.lvus. res.dual m.gm.. The origin of the pegm.tites.is.attributed to extrem. differentiation by fractional crys.al- lization of a granitic m.gm.. The econom.c potential for rare m.tals.was.evaluated in the geochem.cal dis.rim.nation diagram.. Accordingly, s.m. of the pegm.tites.are not only highly differentiated in term. of alkalis. but als. the prom.s.ng targets.for s.0}ll-s.ale Ta and, to a les. extent, s.. The pegm.tites.als. provide the firs. exam.le of Fe-m. and Nb-Ta fractionation in s.cces.ive generations.of granites.to cas.iterite-bearing pegm.tites. which perfectly ex- hibit s.m.lar fractionation trends.es.ablis.ed for prim.ry colum.ite-tantalite in the corres.onding categories.of peg- m.tites. Uranium.and Th of m.gm.tic origin are indicated by the pres.nce of thorite and allanite, whereas.evidence of hydrotherm.l m.neralization is.the alteration of rock- foring m.nerals.s.ch as.felds.ar and the form.tion of s.c- ondary m.nerals.s.ch as.uranophane..
