We recently read the o.inio. piece titled“Why peo.le sho.ld run after po.itive affective experiences instead o. health benefits”,which was carried o.t by maltagliati et al.^(1)and published in the Jo.rnal o. Spo.t and Health *** article started an impo.tant discussio. abo.t a physical activity(PA)pro.o.io. appro.ch that enco.rages the use o. affective experience to.PA *** we agree with the autho.s’po.nt o. view and believe that its message can generate an impo.tant insight fo. PA pro.o.io.,the autho.s presented a scenario.where behavio. change seems to.be exclusively dependent o. the *** the existence o. o.her barriers to.an active lifestyle(e.g.,so.ial inequalities)co.ld enhance the autho.s’suggested appro.ch because many peo.le live in co.ditio.s that reduce their o.po.tunities to.engage in affective experiences related to.PA;furthermo.e,affective experiences can vary depending o. individual co.text.

The present study was to.evaluate the effect o. trace minerals(Zn,mn,and Cu)fro. co.plexed amino.acid minerals(ZmCAA)and bis-glycinate chelated minerals(ZmCGly)in laying hen diets o. perfo.mance,internal and external egg quality,yo.k mineral depo.itio.,intestinal mo.pho.etry,and bo.e *** 78 to.98 weeks o. age,400 White LSL-Lite strain laying hens were distributed in a rando.ized design with 4 treatments with 10 replicates per *** were distributed in a 2×2 facto.ial arrangement using either Zn,mn,and Cu o. ZmCAA o. ZmCGly so.rce at 2 levels:lo.(20,20,and 3.5 mg/kg o. Zn,mn,and Cu,respectively)o. high(40,40,and 7 mg/kg o. Helping behavio. in labo.ato.y animals has been used to.study empathy. In this test, subjects are expo.ed to.a co.specific that is trapped and learn to.o.en the cage to.release the o.her animal. Ho.ever, the interpretatio. o. helping behavio. as an emphatically mo.ivated actio. is still co.tro.ersial. Here we review the studies that use the helping behavio.al test pro.o.ed by Ben-Ami Bartal and co.leagues in 2011 to.better understand mo.ivatio.al facto.s fo. this behavio.. In additio., we co.pare metho.o.o.ical aspects o. these studies. In co.clusio., helping behavio. can be driven by empathy, but o.her facto.s such as the desire fo. so.ial co.tact and learning co.po.ents canno. be ruled o.t as mo.ivato.s. In additio., studies fo.used o. evaluating neuro.io.o.ical mechanisms underlying helping behavio. in labo.ato.y ro.ents can help elucidate the facto.s invo.ved in releasing the trapped co.specific.
