AIm:To assess diabetic.mac.l.r edema(DmE)prog.ession during.the earl. phases of the c.VID-19 pandemic.when severe soc.etal.restric.ions raised the c.nc.rn of possibl. deterioration of heal.h in patients with systemic.c.nditions,partic.l.rl. those requiring.frequent offic. ***:This is a mul.ic.nter retrospec.ive c.art review of 370 patients(724 eyes)with an establ.shed diag.osis of DmE seen on 3 separate visits between January 2019 and Jul. *** 1 was January 2019 to February 2020(c.nsidered pre-c.VID-19),period 2 was marc. 2020 to Dec.mber 2020(c.nsidered the heig.t of the pandemic.hig.est l.vel.of pandemic.rel.ted c.inic.l.and soc.etal.reg.l.tions)and period 3 was January 2021 to Jul. 2021(re-adjustment to the new“pandemic.norms”).main outc.me measures inc.uded visual.ac.ity,body mass index(BmI),bl.od pressure(BP),hemog.obin A1c.HbA1c.,mac.l.r thic.ness,patient adherenc. to sc.edul.d ophthal.ol.g. visits,and DmE treatment(s)rec.ived at eac. *** fac.l.tate measurement of mac.l.r thic.ness,eac. mac.l. was divided into 9 Earl. Treatment Diabetic.Retinopathy Study(ETDRS)-defined mac.l.r sec.ors as measured by oc. ***:There was no c.ang. of BmI,systol.c.BP,and diastol.c.BP between any of the time ***1c.showed a very smal. inc.ease from period 1(7.6%)to period 2(7.8%,P=0.015)and dec.eased bac. to 7.6%at period 3(P=0.12).mac.l.r thic.ness dec.eased for 100%of mac.l.r *** c.ntral.mac.l.r thic.ness dec.eased ac.oss al. 3 periods from 329.5 to 316.6μm(P=0.0045).After anal.sis of mul.ipl. variabl.s inc.uding.HbA1c.BmI,adherenc. to sc.edul.d appointments,different c.inic.c.nters,and treatment interventions,there was no easil. identifiabl. subg.oup of patients that experienc.d the inc.ease in ***:DmE doesn’t worsen during.the c.VID-19 pandemic.instead sustaining.a very smal. but statistic.l.y sig.ific.nt *** identifying.a mec.anism behind our finding. is beyond the sc.pe of this study,potential.expl.nat

The automatic.al.g.ment proc.dure c.nsists of a detail.d mapping.of the impac. positions at the targ.t surfac. prior to the irradiation that ensures stabl. operation of the targ.t, whic. al.ng.ide the purpose-buil. desig. of the targ.t wheel. enabl.s operation at rates up to 10 Hz. Stabl. and c.ntinuous l.ser-driven proton ac.el.ration at 10 Hz is demonstrated, with observed c.t-off energ. stabil.ty about 15%.

The c.emic.l.c.mpositions of Ag.Er c.-doped phosphate and sil.c.te g.asses were investig.ted with X-ray photoel.c.ron spec.rosc.py with the purpose to identify the c.emic.l.state of sil.er. The anal.sis of the Ag.3d c.re l.nes show the presenc. of nanometer-sized sil.er partic.es in eac. of the anneal.d sampl.s,even if these Ag.3d l.nes appear to be very different from eac. other. We expl.in these resul.s as a different interac.ion of sil.er with the two g.asses matrix,whic. l.ads to a different nuc.eation rate of the Ag.c.usters.
