In recent years,biometric sensors are applicable for identifying impor-tant individual information and accessing the control using various identiﬁers by including the characteristics like aﬁngerprint,palm print,iris recognition,and so ***,the precise identiﬁcation of human features is still physically chal-lenging in humans during their lifetime resulting in a variance in their appearance or *** response to these challenges,a novel multimodal Biometric Feature Extraction(mBFE)model is proposed to extract the features from the noisy sen-sor data using a modiﬁed Ranking-based Deep Convolution Neural Network(RDCNN).The proposed mBFE model enables the feature extraction from differ-ent biometric images that includes iris,palm print,and lip,where the images are preprocessed initially for further *** extracted features are validated after optimal extraction by the RDCNN by splitting the datasets to train the fea-ture extraction model and then testing the model with different sets of input *** simulation is performed in matlab to test the efﬁcacy of the modal over multi-modal datasets and the simulation result shows that the proposed meth-od achieves increased accuracy,precision,recall,and F1 score than the existing deep learning feature extraction *** performance improvement of the mBFE Algorithm technique in terms of accuracy,precision,recall,and F1 score is attained by 0.126%,0.152%,0.184%,and 0.38%with existing Back Propaga-tion Neural Network(BPNN),Human Identiﬁcation Using Wavelet Transform(HIUWT),segmentation methodology for Non-cooperative Recognition(smNR),Daugman Iris Localization Algorithm(DILA)feature extraction techni-ques respectively.

Background: Cardiac complications after myocardial infarction are believed to be worse in the presence of comorbidities;we tested whether experimentally induced prolonged uremia exacer-bated myocardial necrosis in a rabbit preparation of ischemia-reperfusion injury. In addition, we examined if treatment with an angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor (Enalapril, ENA, 3 mg/Kg, IV) could reduce post-ischemic myocardial damage. methods: Prolonged uremia was induced by a two-stage subtotal nephrectomy and confirmed by marked increases in serum creatinine and urea levels;after 5 weeks, four groups of rabbits were exposed to 45-min acute coronary occlusion followed by 180-min reperfusion. In treated animals, ENA was administered 5-min before onset of coronary reperfusion. All data from uremic animals were compared with time-matched controls. Results: Cardiac hemodynamics was similar for all groups during the development of kidney failure;heart rate in uremic rabbits was significantly lower for the duration of ischemia-reperfusion. In this animal model, the absence of coronary collateral circulation provides a stable ischemic substrate for evaluation of cellular necrosis. Infarct size (expressed as percent risk zone size) was: control, 48 ± 16;uremia, 36 ± 5;control + ENA, 51 ± 19;and uremia + ENA, 41 ± 16;risk zone size was similar for all animals. Conclusion: The present findings are inconsistent with the view that post-ischemic cardiac injury is greater in animals with pre-existent uremia. In addition, we were unable to show a significant beneficial effect with an angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor on infarct size in either control or uremic rabbits. It remains to be proven in animal models with comorbidities such as manifest kidney disease that ischemic tolerance can be substantially reduced by either pharmacologic or non-pharmacologic interventions.

This work deals with the study of the reflection and transmission properties of plane periodic structures composed of N periods (1 ≤ N ≤ 3) in the mHz frequency range. The period consists of two bounded plates presenting a high acoustic impedance contrast one of which is in aluminum, the other is in polyethylene. The longitudinal and transversal attenuations are considered in polyethylene and neglected in aluminum. We take into account the case of emerging holes in the polyethylene layer. simulations are based on the stiffness matrix method (smm) developed by Rokhlin. When attenuation is considered in polyethylene, the reflection coefficients are different depending on the insonification side. The comparison of results without or with holes configurations are performed and showed that throughout holes allow the rapid observation of forbidden bands. The attenuation of the whole multilayer is also determined.

The analysis of metals in aquatic organisms is of great importance due to the health problems they can cause to be consumed by human beings. In this study, the Laser-Induced Plasma spectroscopy (LIBs) technique is evaluated as an alternative method to identify Cu in span>Crassostrea virginica oystersspan>’span> tissue. It focuses on the characterization of oysters caught a natural bank and the identification of different Cu concentrations. To carry out experimentation, oyster samples were collected in autumn (October 2017) and spring (may 2018) from san Andres Lagoon, Aldama, Tamaulipas. A single pulse Nd:YAG laser (1064 nm) was used, and tissue was contaminated with 0, 2, 10, 20, 50, and 100 μg/g of Cu. In tissue were identified atomic lines for Ca, Cr, mg, mn, Na, N, O, and H. However, the intensities of emission lines for autumn samples were greater than spring samples. Cu emission lines at 324.6, 327.1, 510.3, 515.1, and 521.5 nm were found for contaminated pills. The intensity of emission lines showed a linear increase with the concentration;whereby, they can be used as calibration curves to quantify Cu concentrations in oyster tissue.

AIm: To investigate the change of bone parameters in a new model of experimentally induced liver cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) in growing ***: Fischer-344 rats (n = 55) were used. Carbon tetrachloride (CCl4), phenobarbital (PB), and a single diethylnitrosamine (DEN) injection were used. Animals were killed at wk 8 and 16. Bone mineral content, femoral length, cortical index (quotient of cortical thickness and whole diameter) and ultimate bending load (Fmax)of the femora were determined. The results in animals treated with DEN+PB+CCl4 (DPC, n = 21) were compared to those in untreated animals (UNT,n = 14) and in control group treated only with DEN+PB (DP, n = 20).REsULTs: Fatty liver and cirrhosis developed in each DPC-treated rat at wk 8 and HCC was presented at wk 16. No skeletal changes were found in this group at wk 8,but each parameter was lower (P＜0.05 for each) at wk 16 in comparison to the control group. Neither fatty liver nor cirrhosis was observed in DP-treated animals at any time point. Femoral length and Fmax values were higher (P＜0.05 for both) in DP-treated animals at wk 8 compared to the UNT controls. However, no difference was found at wk ***: Experimental liver cirrhosis and HCC are accompanied with inhibited skeletal growth, reduced bone mass, and decreased mechanical resistance in growing rats. Our results are in concordance with the data of other studies using different animal models. A novel finding is the transiently accelerated skeletal growth and bone strength after a 8-wk long phenobarbital treatment following diethylnitrosamine injection.

Re-industrialization, which supports industrial upgrading and transformation, promotes smart production and high value-added manufacturing processes, and helps to create new momentum for the economic. Under the current situation, industrialists encounter several chal- lenges to achieve re-industrialization. Firstly, the cost and technical thresholds for industrialists to leverage emerging technologies are high. secondly, there are huge quantities and numerous types of Internet of things （IoT） devices in smart factories, warehouses and offices. The enormous extents of data exchange and communication, manage- ment, monitoring and control of IoT devices as well as the establishment and maintenance of a reliable cloud platform hinder industrialists to implement an integrated smart production management. Therefore, to achieve re-indus- trialization, an industrial Internet of things （IIoT） suite consisting of a micro-services-based IIoT cloud platform and IIoT-based smart hub is proposed, which helps to materialize re-industrialization and to conduct industrial upgrading and transformation to achieve smart production and high value-added manufacturing processes.
