b.CKGROUnD Vaccine hesitancy is a major challenge in the fight against the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)*** the sociodemographic factors associated with vaccine acceptance among nigerians is crucial for improving vaccine *** To assess the acceptance rate of COVID-19 vaccine and its related determinants among *** An online cross-sectional survey(ob.ervational study)was conducted b.tween Feb.uary 2021 and may 2021,using a questionnaire hosted on *** invitation to take part in the poll was sent out to participants through social networking platforms.A logistic regression was used to determine which sociodemographic factors were associated with vaccine acceptance *** A total of 1800 persons responded to the survey,a larger proportion of whom were males(53.9%)and within the age group of 21-30 years(29.4%)and earned an average income of less than$500 per month(43.3%).Only 0.56%of participants had a high perceived risk of COVID-19 infection,while only 1.11%had a perceived risk of dying from *** perception rate of the COVID-19 vaccine among participants was 51.1%,while the acceptance rate was 63.9%.There was no significant association b.tween the COVID-19 vaccine acceptance rate and related determinants assessed,particularly age(χ²=3.049,P=0.550),sex(χ²=0.102,P=0.749),average income(χ²=3.802,P=0.875),and religion(χ²=2.819,P=0.420).Participants with chronic conditions demonstrated a higher acceptance rate compared to the general *** Despite the positive perception ob.erved and sub.tantial vaccine acceptance rate among the study participants,more pub.ic health interventions are still needed to enhance vaccine acceptab.lity in nigeria.

The first-principles study of the structural, elastic and electronic properties of the m2XC phases depending on the type of m transition metal （m are Ti and Cr） and on X （X are Ga and A1） was reported. The calculations are performed using the pseudo-potential plane-wave approach in b.th the local density and generalized gradient approximations. The elastic constants are calculated using the static finite strain technique. Features such as structural and elastic parameters, Deb.e tem- perature, sound velocities and their pressure dependence have b.en investigated. In agreement with experimental and previous theoretical findings, it is found that the compressib.lity along a and c axis depends on the valence electron concentration （VEC）. Correlations revealing the governing role of the X and m elements on the machinab.lity indices of the material have b.en examined. The electronic properties have b.en discussed in terms of chemical b.nding showing that b.nding is due to md-Cp and md-Xp hyb.idizations. m-C b.nds are stiffer than m-X ones and A1-Ti （Cr-C） b.nds are stiffer than those corresponding to Ti-C （A1-Cr）. It is shown that the stiffness of the m-X and m-C b.nds increases with increasing the numb.r of VEC.

A hydrochemical and tracer study （uranine injection） was conducted in Jurassic limestone of the Posht-e-naz area in the Alb.rz b.lt to evaluate hydraulic relations b.tween a large diameter （ab.ut 100m） sinkhole and springs and aquifer parameters. A main goal of the project was to find out the source of turb.dity of the Emarate drinking water supply spring （SP4） in rainy season. Springs discharge were measured and hydrochemical investigation were carried out. The uranine tracer was injected and eight springs, three wells and the neka River were selected and totally 989 samples in 107 days were collected. Hydrochemical data demonstrated a relative connection b.tween sinkhole （Shl） and spring （SP4）. The results of the tracing b. sampling water indicated only a hydraulic connection b.tween Sange- nou spring （SP8） and injection point, while the charcoal packets analysis revealed tracer exits from spring numb.rs SP1, SP3, SP4, SP5, SP8, in wells W1 and W2, and in the neka River. The concentration - time curves of charcoal packets for qualitative analysis and exit tracer for quantitative analysis is also assessed.

The cotton aphid, Aphis gossypii Glover, predation rate of convergent lady b.etle, Hippodamia convergens Guerin-meneville, was determined b. assigning a single predator randomly to each of four prey density treatments in the lab.ratory. Prey densities included 25, 50, 100, and 200 aphids per Petri dish arena. Predation response was recorded at 1, 4, 8, 16, 24, and 48 h after assigning predators to their prey treatments. Rate of consumption increased through time, with all 25 aphids consumed during the first 4 h of the experiment. At the highest density, adult lady b.etle consumed on average 49, 99, 131, 163, 183, and 200 aphids within 1, 4, 8, 16, 24 and 48 h, respectively. Predators showed a curvilinear feeding response in relation to total availab.e time, indicating that convergent lady b.etles have the potential to suppress larger populations of aphids through continuous feeding b. regulating their predation efficiency during feeding. The analysis of age-specific mortality in ab.ence of prey revealed that lady b.etles could survive for an extended period of time （more than 2 weeks） without prey. The ab.lity of a predator to survive without prey delays or prevents the reb.und of pest populations that is a significant factor in natural b.ological control. A two-year field sampling of 10 cotton arthropod predator species showed that spiders （27%） were the most dominant foliage dwelling predators in the Texas High Plains cotton followed b. convergent lady b.etles （23.5%）, hooded b.etles （13.5%）, minute pirate b.gs （11%）, green lacewings （9.5%）, b.geyed b.gs （7.5%）, scymnus b.etles （3%）, soft-winged flower b.etles （2%）, damsel b.gs （1.5%）, and assassin b.gs （1.5%）. A field cage study showed that one H. convergens adult per plant released at prey density of one aphid per leaf kept the aphid population b.low economic threshold for the entire growing season.

We fit various color–magnitude diagrams(CmDs) of the high-latitude Galactic glob.lar clusters nGC 5024(m53),nGC 5053,nGC 5272(m3),nGC 5466,and nGC 7099(m30) b. isochrones from the Dartmouth Stellar Evolution Datab.se and b.g of Stellar Tracks and Isochrones for α–enrichm.nt [α/Fe] = +*** the CmDs,we use data sets from Hub.le Space Telescope,Gaia,and other sources utilizing,at least,25 photometric filters for each *** ob.ain the following characteristics with their statistical uncertainties for nGC 5024,nGC 5053,nGC 5272,nGC 5466,and nGC 7099,respectively:metallicities [Fe/H] =-1.93 ± 0.02,-2.08 ± 0.03,-1.60 ± 0.02,-1.95 ± 0.02,and-2.07 ± 0.04 dex with their systematic uncertainty 0.1 dex;ages 13.00 ± 0.11,12.70 ± 0.11,11.63 ± 0.07,12.15 ± 0.11,and 12.80 ± 0.17 Gyr with their systematic uncertainty 0.8 Gyr;distances(systematic uncertainty added) 18.22 ± 0.06 ± 0.60,16.99 ± 0.06 ± 0.56,10.08 ± 0.04 ± 0.33,15.59 ±0.03 ± 0.51,and 8.29 ± 0.03 ± 0.27 kpc;reddenings E(b.V) = 0.023 ± 0.004,0.017 ± 0.004,0.023 ± 0.004,0.023 ± 0.003,and 0.045 ± 0.002 mag with their systematic uncertainty 0.01 mag;extinctions AV= 0.08 ± 0.01,0.06 ± 0.01,0.08 ± 0.01,0.08 ± 0.01,and 0.16 ± 0.01 mag with their systematic uncertainty 0.03 mag,which suggest the total Galactic extinction AV= 0.08 across the whole Galactic dust to extragalactic ob.ects at the north Galactic *** horizontal b.anch morphology difference of these clusters is explained b. their different metallicity,age,mass-loss efficiency,and loss of low-mass memb.rs in the evolution of the core-collapse cluster nGC 7099 and loose clusters nGC 5053 and nGC 5466.
