The phonon dispersion curves （PDC） of Ca70mg30 metallic glass has been studied at room temperature in terms of phonon eigen frequencies of longitudinal and transverse modes employing three different approaches proposed by Hubbard and Beeby （J. Phys. C： solid state Phys. 13 （1969） 556）, Takeno and Goda （Prog. Theor. Phys. 45 （1971） 331; 47 （1972） 790） and Bhatia and singh （Phys. Rev. B 31 （1985） 4751）. The well recognized model potential of Gajjar et al. is employed successfully to explain electron-ion interaction in the metallic glass. The effective pair potential is used to generate the pair correlation function g（r）. The local field correction function （Int. J. mod. Phys. B 17 （2003） 6001） is used for the first time to introduce the exchange and correlation effects on the aforesaid properties. The present findings of PDCs are found to be in agreement with the available theoretical as well as experimental data. The thermodynamic and elastic properties, i.e. longitudinal and transverse sound velocities, isothermal bulk modulus, modulus of rigidity, Poisson＇s ratio, Young＇s modulus and Debye temperature, are also investigated successfully.

We present a photometric analysis of the Transiting Exoplanet survey satellite(TEss)light curve of contact binary system DY Cet and the behavior of its orbital period *** light curve and published radial velocity data analysis was performed using the Wilson-Devinney *** a result of simultaneous analysis of the light curve with radial velocity data,the masses and radii of the system’s components were determined as m_(1)=1.55±0.02 m_(⊙),m_(2)=0.55±0.01 m_(⊙) and R_(1)=1.51±0.02 R_(⊙),R_(2)=0.95±0.02 R_(⊙),*** degree of contact(f)and mass ratio(q)of the system were determined as 23%and 0.355±0.012,*** period analysis of DY Cet was conducted for the first time in this *** was observed that the orbital period has a sinusoidal change with decreasing *** explain the orbital period change,mass transfer between components is proposed with the assumption of conservative mass,and the transfer rate was calculated to be dm/dt=1.1×10^(-7) m_(⊙)yr^(-1).A possible third component is suggested for explaining the sinusoidal change,and the mass of the unseen component was determined as 0.13 m_(⊙).The age of the DY Cet system was estimated as 3.77 Gyr.

A micropropagation technique is developed for the multiplication of Dendrocalamus strictus （D. strictus）, Dendrocalamus asper （19. asper） and Bambusa bambos （B. bambos） through shoot proliferation. Nodal explants obtained from field gown clumps were used to initiate cultures. shoots were induced on murashige and skoog＇s （ms） medium supplemented with 5 mg L^-1 6-benzylamino purine （BAP）. Rapid shoot multiplication was obtained on ms medium containing 3 mg Lt BAP in D. asper, B. bambos and 2 mg L^-1 BAP in D. strictus. In vitro multiplied shoots showed best root induction on half strength ms supplemented with 1 mg L^-1 indole-3 butyric acid （IBA） and 0.5 mg L^-1 1-naphthalene acetic acid （NAA） in D. asper. Pre-rooting conditioning followed by culturing on half strength ms supplemented with 1 mg L^-1 IBA and 2 mg L^-1 IBA showed maximum root induction in D. strictus and B. bambos, respectively. Further root proliferation was obtained on hormone free medium. The micropropagated plantlets were acclimatized and successfully transferred on soil in green house.

maternal-fetal cell exchange during pregnancy results in acquisition of microchimerism, which can durably persist in both recipients. Naturally acquired microchimerism may impact maternal-fetal interaction in pregnancy. We conducted studies to ask whether microchimerism that a woman acquired from her own mother is detectable before or during pregnancy in women with recurrent miscarriage. Fetal microchimerism was also assayed. Women with primary idiopathic recurrent miscarriage （n=23） and controls （n=31） were studied. Genotyping was conducted for probands, their mothers and the fetus, a non-shared polymorphism identified and quantitative polymerase chain reaction performed to measure microchimerismin peripheral blood mononuclear cells. Preconception comparisons were made between recurrent miscarriage subjects and controls, using logistic regression and Wilcoxon rank sum. Longitudinal microchimerism in subsequent pregnancies of recurrent miscarriage subjects was described. There was a trend toward lower preconception detection of microchimerism in recurrent miscarriage versus controls, 6% vs. 19% （1/16 vs. 6/31, P=0.2）. During pregnancy, 3111 （27%） of recurrent miscarriage subjects who went on to have a birth had detection of microchimerism from their own mother, whereas neither of two subjects who went on to miscarry had detection （0/2）. This initial data suggest that microchimerism from a woman＇s own mother, while detectable in women with recurrent miscarriage, may differ from controls and according to subsequent pregnancy outcome. Further studies are needed to determine the cell types,quantities and any potential functional role of microchimerism in recurrent miscarriage.

The far-infrared optical reflectivity of an optimaUy doped Ba1-xKxFe2As2 （x = 0.4） single crystal is measured from room temperature down to 4 K. We study the temperature dependence of the in-plane infrared-active phonon at 251 em-1. This phonon exhibits a symmetric line shape in the optical conductivity, suggesting that the coupling between the phonon and the electronic background is weak. Upon cooling down, the frequency of this phonon continu- ously increases, following the conventional temperature dependence expected in the absence of a structural or magnetic transition. The intensity of this phonon is temperature independent within the measurement accuracy. These observa- tions indicate that the structural and magnetic phase transition might be completely suppressed by chemical doping in the optimally doped Bao.6Ko.4Fe2As2 compound.

We present screening dependence theoretical investigations of the superconducting state parameters, i.e. electron-phonon coupling strength λ, Coulomb pseudopotential μ＊, transition temperature TC, isotope effect exponent α, and effective interaction strength N0V, of some BmG superconductors, namely Nb0.45Ta0.45mo0.10, Nb0.30Ta0.40mo0.30, Nb0.40Ta0.30mo0.30, Nb0.30Ta0.30mo0.40 and Nb0.15Ta0.15mo0.70 by employing the well-known empty core model potential of Ashcroft for the first time. Five local field correction functions proposed by Hartree, Taylor, Ichimaru-Utsumi, Farid et al. and sarkar et al. are used in the present investigation to study the screening influence on the aforesaid superconducting properties. The transition temperature TC obtained from the H-local field correction function is found to be in an excellent agreement with the available theoretical data. Also, the present results are found to be in qualitative agreement with other such earlier reported data, which confirms the superconducting phase in the superconductors.

Dear Editor,The emergence of Omicron subvariants has required additional boosters to induce a highly neutralizing antibody response.1 However,the new Omicron subvariants BQ.1 and XBB,evade the humoral response induced by multiple mRNA vaccinations and infections.2,3 CansinoBio(Ad5-nCoV)is a single-dose adenovirus vector-based vaccine with high protection against severe disease4 but lower efficacy and antibody response than mRNA ***,hybrid immunity induced by infection plus vaccine or heterologous vaccines has produced a robust neutralizing antibody response.
