Role of Air Staging in a Batch-Type Fixed Bed Biomass Combustor under Constant Primary Air

Staged combustion of biomass is the most suitable thermo-chemical conversion for achieving lower gaseous emissions and higher fuel conversion *** a staged fixed bed combustion of biomass,combustion air is supplied in two *** the first stage,primary air is provided below the fuel,whereas in the later stage,secondary air is supplied in the freeboard *** available literature on the effects of air staging(secondary air location) at a constant primary air flow rate on combustion characteristics in a batch-type fixed bed combustor is limited and hence warrants further *** study resolves the effect of air staging,by varying the location of secondary air in the freeboard at five secondary to total air ratios in a batch-type fixed bed *** are reported for the effects of these controlled parameters on fuel conversion rate,overall gaseous emissions(CO_(2),CO and NO_x) and temperature *** fuel used throughout was densified hardwood *** show that a primary freeboard length(distance between fuel bed top and secondary air injection) of200 mm has higher fuel conversion rates and temperatures as well as lower CO emissions,at a secondary to total air ratio of 0.75 as compared to primary freeboard length of 300 ***,NO_x emissions were found to be lower for a primary freeboard length of 300 mm as compared to 200 *** increase in secondary to total air ratio from 0.33 to 0.75 resulted in higher freeboard temperatures and lower CO as well as NO_x *** outcomes of this study will be helpful in the effective design of commercial scale biomass combustors for more efficient and environmentally friendly combustion.

背景:m^(6)A修饰与股骨头坏死的发生发展相关,但在激素性股骨头坏死中的作用尚不清楚。目的:基于GEO数据库,采用生物信息学方法分析激素性股骨头坏死中表达差异的m^(6)A基因及互作miRNAs,探寻其潜在发病机制。方法:在GEO数据库中检索并下载与激素性股骨头坏死相关的mRNA表达谱数据集(GSE123568),通过R软件对数据集进行差异基因筛选及GO功能、KEGG通路富集分析。识别差异基因中的m^(6)A差异表达基因(m^(6)A-DEGs)并对其进行GO功能与KEGG通路富集分析,比较m^(6)A-DEGs的表达量并分析它们之间的相关性。最后通过Cytoscape构建m^(6)A-DEGs的PPI互作网络及筛选核心基因。使用TargetScan,miRTarBase和miRBD数据库预测m^(6)A-DEGs相关的潜在miRNAs,同时使用ChIPBase及hTFtarget数据库预测7个核心基因潜在转录因子,然后分别构建m^(6)A-miRNA与转录因子m^(6)A调控网络。最后使用数据集GSE74089验证7个核心m^(6)A-DEGs的表达水平。结果与结论:①从数据集中共筛选出2460个差异表达的基因,其中1455个上调,1005个下调。②从数据集中筛选出了14个m^(6)A-DEGs,包括3个下调和11个上调基因,m^(6)A-DEGs在激素性股骨头坏死中的表达具有显著差异(Pman分析表明它们之间具有一定相关性。③m^(6)A-DEGs的GO和KEGG富集分析主要集中在骨髓细胞分化与发育、免疫受体与细胞因子受体活性、破骨细胞分化、AmPK与白细胞介素17信号通路。④m^(6)A-DEGs前7个核心基因包括YTHDF3,YTHDF1,YTHDF2,ALKBH5,mETTL3,HNRNPA2B1及HNRNPC,它们在miRTarBase,miRDB和TargetScan数据库中共有44个miRNA重叠,在ChIPBase及hTFtarget数据库中共有79个重叠转录因子。⑤在GSE74089数据集中有6个核心m^(6)A-DEGs的表达水平与GSE123568数据集一致。⑥结果证实,根据生物信息学方法筛选的7个m^(6)A-DEGs可能通过调控多个miRNA、转录因子和AmPK及白细胞介素17信号通路表达,进而影响激素性股骨头坏死中骨髓细胞分化发育与破骨细胞分化,为进一步深入研究激素性股骨头坏死的发病机制和靶向治疗提供了数据支持和研究方向。

Grain refinement of mg-Ca alloys by native mgO particles

In mg-Ca alloys the grain refining mechanism,in particular regarding the role of nucleant substrates,remains the object of *** native mgO is being recognised as a nucleating substrate accounting for grain refinement of mg alloys,the possible interactions of mgO with alloying elements that may alter the nucleation potency have not been elucidated ***,we design casting experiments of mg-xCa alloys varied qualitatively in number density of native mgO,which are then comprehensively studied by advanced electron *** results show that grain refinement is enhanced as the particle number density of mgO *** native mgO particles are modified by interfacial layers due to the co-segregation of Ca and N solute atoms at the mgO/mg *** aberration-corrected scanning transmission electron microscopy and electron energy loss spectroscopy,we reveal the nature of these Ca/N interfacial layers at the atomic *** of the crystallographic termination of mgO,Ca and N co-segregate at the mgO/mg interface and occupy mg and O sites,respectively,forming an interfacial structure of a few atomic *** interfacial structure is slightly expanded,less ordered and defective compared to the mgO matrix due to compositional deviations,whereby the mgO substrate is altered as a poorer template to nucleate mg *** solidification in a TP-1 mould,the impotent mgO particles account for the grain refining mechanism,where they are suggested to participate into nucleation and grain initiation processes in an explosive *** work not only reveals the atomic engineering of a substrate through interfacial segregation but also demonstrates the effectiveness of a strategy whereby native mgO particles can be harnessed for grain refinement in mg-Ca alloys.

为确定引起内蒙古地区3月龄~6月龄荷斯坦犊牛暴发呼吸系统疾病的病原,并分析其基因组序列,本研究对病死犊牛剖检并观察其各脏器的剖检病变,制备各组织病理切片,观察其组织病变。结果可见犊牛肺脏呈深红色有光泽的肌肉样实变,心脏肥大,肝脏表面散在细小的结节状灰白色病灶,肾脏表面散在细小深红色出血点;组织病理学观察可见典型间质性肺炎,多数各级细支气管腔和肺泡腔内巨噬细胞和淋巴细胞大量增生和浸润,偶见合胞体细胞,在各级细支气管部分黏膜上皮细胞浆内有大小不等的圆形红染的病毒包涵体;轻度纤维化和小坏死灶的变质性肝炎,急性炎性脾肿,多发性小出血灶的慢性硬化性肾小球肾炎。进一步进行RT-PCR检测,结果显示,扩增获得约600 bp的目的条带,测序后与GenBank中相关基因序列比对,结果显示目的基因与牛呼吸道合胞体病毒(BRSV)美国分离株USII/S1(KU159366)的同源性最高(98.42%),表明该地区某牧场犊牛感染了BRSV。将该病例肺组织研磨上清液接种牛肾细胞(mDBK)盲传3代出现典型的细胞病变,经RT-PCR检测确认为BRSV,进一步表明分离到1株BRSV,命名为Im BRSV-39。分段扩增Im BRSV-39株的全基因组序列,经测序后拼接获得长度为15130 bp的BRSV全基因组序列。采用megAlign软件分析Im BRSV-39株的全基因组序列、G基因序列和F基因序列的同源性及突变位点;采用mEGA 11软件构建分离株全基因组进化树分析其遗传进化关系。结果显示,Im BRSV-39株的全基因组序列、G基因和F基因序列均与BRSVⅢ亚型分离株相应基因序列的同源性最高、且位于同一进化分支,证实Im BRSV-39株属于BRSVⅢ亚型;突变位点分析结果显示:与BRSVⅢ亚型参考株相比,Im BRSV-39株G基因序列存在7个突变位点,F基因序列存在12个突变位点;G蛋白氨基酸序列存在4个突变位点,其中L13H处在G蛋白的胞质结构域(aa1~aa37);Y^(127)H、I^(139)T、P^(177)L、A^(186)T处在G蛋白的胞外结构域(aa66~aa257);F蛋白氨基酸序列存在5个氨基酸突变位点,其中m^(4)T、m^(7)T、S^(14)C处在F蛋白氨基末端信号肽区(aa1~aa26)。本研究检测并分离到1株BSRV,揭示了该病毒基因组的遗传进化特征,为国内BRSV的深入研究奠定了基础。

Factors associated with delayed intracerebral hemorrhage after superficial temporal artery-middle cerebral artery bypass in stenoocclusive cerebrovascular diseases

Background Intra-cerebral hemorrhage （ICH） is a devastating complication that can result from superficial temporal artery-middle cerebral artery （STA-mCA） bypass in patients undergoing treatment for steno-occlusive cerebrovascular disease （CVD）.There is a clinical need to find the possible risk factors to prevent ICH,as it is a significant cause of mortality and *** aim of the study was to investigate the factors associated with delayed ICH after STA-mCA bypass in patients with steno-occlusive *** We retrospectively analyzed the records of 163 patients seen from 2002 to 2011 with STA-mCA bypass for steno-occlusive cerebrovascular diseases at the Department of Neurosurgery,Xuan Wu Hospital,*** and clinical data,including age,gender,vascular risk factors,preoperative syndrome,preoperative National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale （NIHSS）,ipsilateral ischemic lesions,classification of steno-occlusive CVDs,donor branches of STA,graft patency,postoperative hypertension,and postoperative-increased mCA velocity were recorded and *** Logistic regression served to identify factors associated with delayed ICH after STA-mCA *** We identified 8 （4.9%） patients with delayed ICH after STA-mCA *** with hypertension,preoperative stroke,ipsilateral ischemic lesions,postoperative hypertension and postoperative-increased mCA velocity were significantly more prone to experiencing delayed ICH after STA-mCA *** regression analysis shows ipsilateral ischemic lesions,postoperative hypertension,and postoperative-increased mCA velocity remained independent predictors for delayed ICH after STA-mCA *** Despite the varied associated factors in patients with steno-occlusive CVDs,ipsilateral ischemic lesions,postoperative hypertension,and postoperative-increased mCA velocity could be associated with delayed ICH after STAmCA bypass.
