Response surface methodology (RSm) using the central composite design (CCD) was applied to examine the impact of soda-anthraquinone pulping conditions on Grevillea robusta fall leaves. The pulping factors studied were: NaOH charge 5% to 20% w/v, pulping time 30 to 180 minutes, and the anthraquinone charge 0.1 to 0.5% w/w based on the oven-dried leaves. The responses evaluated were the pulp yield, cellulose content, and the degree of delignification. Various regression models were used to evaluate the effects of varying the pulping conditions. The optimum conditions attained were;NaOH charge of 14.63%, 0.1% anthraquinone, and a pulping period of 154 minutes, corresponding to 20.68% pulp yield, 80.56% cellulose content, and 70.34% lignin removal. Analysis of variance (ANOVA), was used to determine the most important variables that improve the extraction process of cellulose. The experiment outcomes matched those predicted by the model (Predicted R2 = 0.9980, Adjusted R2 = 0.9994), demonstrating the adequacy of the model used. FTIR analysis confirmed the elimination of the non-cellulosic fiber constituents. The lignin and hemicellulose-related bands (around 1514 cm−1, 1604 cm−1, 1239 cm−1, and 1734 cm−1) decreased with chemical treatment, indicating effective cellulose extraction by the soda-anthraquinone method. Similar results were obtained by XRD, SEm and thermogravimetric analysis of the extracted cellulose. Therefore, Grevillea robusta fall leaves are suitable renewable, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly non-wood biomass for cellulose extraction.

In this article, a novel scalarization technique, called the improved objective-constraint approach, is introduced to find efficient solutions of a given multiobjective programming problem. The presented scalarized problem extends the objective-constraint problem. It is demonstrated that how adding variables to the scalarized problem, can lead to find conditions for (weakly, properly) Pareto optimal solutions. Applying the obtained necessary and sufficient conditions, two algorithms for generating the Pareto front approximation of bi-objective and three-objective programming problems are designed. These algorithms are easy to implement and can achieve an even approximation of (weakly, properly) Pareto optimal solutions. These algorithms can be generalized for optimization problems with more than three criterion functions, too. The effectiveness and capability of the algorithms are demonstrated in test problems.

Fullerene derivatives are highly attractive materials in solar cells,organic thermoelectrics,and other ***,the intrinsic low electron mobility and electrical conductivity restrict their potential device performance,such as perovskite solar cells(PSCs).Herein,we successfully enhanced the electric properties and morphology of phenyl-C61-butyric acid methyl ester(PCBm)by n-doping it with a benzimidazoline derivative,9-(1,3-dimethyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-benzoimidazol-2-yl)-julolidine(JLBI-H)via a solution *** found the n-doping can not only improve the conductivity and optimize the band alignment but also enable the PCBm to have a constantly strong charge extraction ability in a wide temperature from 173 to 373 K,which guarantees a stable photovoltaic performance of the corresponding PSCs under a wide range of operating *** the JLBI-H-doped PCBm,we improved the efficiency from 17.9%to 19.8%,along with enhanced stability of the nonencapsulated devices following the aging protocol of ISOS-D-1.

The luminescent phosphor powder in the fluorescent lamp constitutes 2%of the lamp’s *** can be mentioned that fluorescent wastes are a crucial raw material to produce rare earth *** the present study,microwave leaching process was conducted to dissolve rare earth elements yttrium(Y),europium(Eu),and remaining rare earth elements(REEs)present in the phosphor powder of the fluorescent *** the yields were *** the microwave leaching process,the effects of the temperature(80-160℃),acid type(hydrochloric acid(HCl),nitric acid(HNO_(3)),sulphuric acid(H_(2)SO_(4))),acid concentration(0.5-6 mol/L),solid to liquid ratio(0.1:10-0.5:10)and reaction time(5-90 min)parameters on leaching efficiencies of varying rare earth elements and calcium were *** highest yield was obtained in the direct microwave leaching of fluorescent waste with the experimental conditions of 6 mol/L HCl,160℃,0.1:10 solid-to-liquid ratio(S:L),and 90 *** energy calculations were made,and kinetic models of the reactions were obtained,and it is observed that Y and Eu dissolution is diffusion-controlled,on the other hand,lanthanum(La),cerium(Ce),and terbium(Tb)were examined to be chemical reaction ***,calcium(Ca)and gadolinium(Gd)seem coherent with the mixed ***,mathematical models of all experimental studies are created with the response surface Box-Behnken method and the correlation coefficients of all the models are over 90%.

Purpose:The collaboration relationships between innovation actors at a geographic level may be considered as grouping two separate layers,the domestic and the *** the level of each layer,the relationships and the actors involved constitute a Triple Helix *** paper distinguished three levels of analysis:the global grouping together all actors,the domestic grouping together domestic actors,and the foreign related to only actors from partner ***/methodology/approach:Bibliographic records data from the web of Science for South Korea and west Africa breakdown per innovation actors and distinguishing domestic and international collaboration are analyzed with game *** core,the Shapley value,and the nucleolus are computed at the three levels to measure the synergy between ***:The synergy operates more in South Korea than in west Africa;the government is more present in west Africa than in South Korea;domestic actors create more synergy in South Korea,but foreign more in west Africa;South Korea can consume all the foreign synergy,which is not the case of west *** limitations:Research data are limited to publication records;techniques and methods used may be extended to other research *** implications:west African governments should increase their investment in science,technology,and innovation to benefit more from the synergy their innovation actors contributed at the foreign ***,the results of the current study may not be sufficient to prove that greater investment will yield benefits from foreign ***/value:This paper uses game theory to assess innovation systems by computing the contribution of foreign actors to knowledge production at an area *** proposes an indicator to this end.

This editorial delves into the research article by Zeng et al published in the latest issue of world Journal of *** manuscript contributes significantly to addressing the global health issue of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)by introducing and validating the Exercise and Diet Adherence Scale(EDAS).The article effectively conveys the importance of the study,highlighting the prevalence of NAFLD,the lack of approved drugs for its treatment,and the crucial role of lifestyle *** use of the Delphi method for scale development and the subsequent evaluation of its reliability add scientific rigor to the *** results demonstrate that the scale is correlated with key lifestyle indicators,which makes it a promising tool for assessing patient adherence to *** identification of specific score thresholds for predicting adherence to daily calorie intake and exercise adds practical value to the *** differentiation among scores indicative of good,average,and poor adherence enhances its clinical *** conclusion,the manuscript introduces EDAS,a valuable instrument that can contribute substantially to the field of NAFLD research and clinical practice.
