Constraints on unconsolidated pyroclastic flow sediments related REE enrichments originated from potassic-alkaline Gölcük stratovolcano: Darıdere-Direkli-Yakaören (DDY) table 4deposits, southwestern Anatolia of Turkey

In the last five decades,Rare Earth Elements(REE)are mostly produced from carbonatite complexes and alkaline magmatic *** this respect,pyroclastic flows produced by the potassic-alkaline Gölcük volcanism in the Isparta(SW,Turkey)angle stand out as an important target area where REE enrichments can be *** study focuses on the REE potential,geochemical and mineralogical characteristics of REE-bearing minerals as well as formation modeling of unconsolidated pyroclastic flows in Darıdere-Direkli-Yakaören(DDY)deposits in ***-bearing minerals of DDY deposits which contain abundant trachytic-trachyandesitic rock fragments were determined as fluorapatite,britholite,and chevkinite by using XRD and SEm–EDX *** to the geochemical analysis,the vast majority of RREE(up to 996 ppm)content is LREE such as La,Ce and ***ıdere is the most REE enriched region followed by Yakaören and Direkli regions in terms of LREE(574.9 ppm),relative to mREE(38.5 ppm)and HREE(5.28 ppm)*** results are also on par with subduction-related Italian extrusive carbonatites such as Polino,Cupaello and San *** DDY deposits can also be comparable with intraplate extrusive REE deposits in terms of LREE enrichments,however,HREE,Nb,Th and Zr values are generally *** RREE concentrations tend to rise with the increasing contents of alkaline elements(Na and K),HFSE(such as Nb and U),as well as LILE(Ba,Sr and Rb)and are negatively affected by sedimentary carbonate *** economic value of the DDY deposits can gain importance due to the increasing global demand for LREE’s.

Hybrid Isothermal model for the Ferrohydrodynamic Chemically Reactive Species

A hybrid isothermal model for the homogeneous-heterogeneous reactions in ferrohydrodynamic boundary layer ?ow is established. The characteristics of Newtonian heating and magnetic dipole in a ferro?uid due to a stretchable surface is analyzed for three chemical species. It is presumed that the isothermal cubic autocatalator kinetic gives the homogeneous reaction and the ?rst order kinetics gives the heterogeneous(surface) reaction. The analysis is carried out for equal diffusion coe?cients of all autocatalyst and reactions. Heat ?ux is examined by incorporating Fourier's law of heat conduction. Characteristics of materialized parameters on the magneto-thermomechanical coupling in the ?ow of a chemically reactive species are investigated. Further, the heat transfer rate and friction drag are depicted for the ferrohydrodynamic chemically reactive species. It is evident that the Schmidt number has increasing behavior on the rate of heat transfer in the boundary layer. Comparison with available results for speci?c cases is found an excellent agreement.

Recent economic growth and development have considerably raised energy consumption over the *** load prediction approaches become essential for effective planning,decision-making,and contract evaluation of the power *** order to achieve effective forecasting outcomes with minimumcomputation time,this study develops an improved whale optimization with deep learning enabled load prediction(IWO-DLELP)scheme for energy storage systems(ESS)in smart grid *** major intention of the IWO-DLELP technique is to effectually forecast the electric load in SG environment for designing proficient *** proposed IWO-DLELP model initially undergoes pre-processing in two stages namely min-max normalization and feature ***,partition clustering approach is applied for the decomposition of data into distinct clusters with respect to distance and objective ***,IWO with bidirectional gated recurrent unit(BiGRU)model is applied for the prediction of load and the hyperparameters are tuned by the use of IWO *** experiment analysis reported the enhanced results of the IWO-DLELP model over the recent methods interms of distinct evaluation measures.

Spectral features and antibacterial properties of Cu-doped ZnO nanoparticles prepared by sol-gel method

Zn（1-x）Cux O（x=0.00, 0.01, 0.03, and 0.05） nanoparticles are synthesized via the sol-gel technique using gelatin and nitrate precursors. The impact of copper concentration on the structural, optical, and antibacterial properties of these nanoparticles is demonstrated. Powder x-ray diffraction investigations have illustrated the organized Cu doping into ZnO nanoparticles up to Cu concentration of 5%（x = 0.05）. However, the peak corresponding to CuO for x= 0.01 is not distinguishable. The images of field emission scanning electron microscopy demonstrate the existence of a nearly spherical shape with a size in the range of 30–52 nm. Doping Cu creates the Cu–O–Zn on the surface and results in a decrease in the crystallite size. Photoluminescence and absorption spectra display that doping Cu causes an increment in the energy band gap. The antibacterial activities of the nanoparticles are examined against Escherichia coli（Gram negative bacteria）cultures using optical density at 600 nm and a comparison of the size of inhibition zone diameter. It is found that both pure and doped ZnO nanoparticles indicate appropriate antibacterial activity which rises with Cu doping.

Characterization of microstructural and morphological Properties in As-deposited Ta/NiFe/Irmn/CoFe/Ta multilayer System

Surface morphology and its relationship with microstructure in Ta/NiFe/Irmn/CoFe/Ta multilayer system deposited by pulsed DC magnetron sputtering have been investigated in dependence of Ta buffer and NiFe seed layer thicknesses using atomic force microscopy. The structural parameters such as grain size, dislocation density, texture and strain were calculated. For each surface, a self-affinity behavior with mean fractal dimensions in the range of 2.03-2.18 was found. Additionally, it was also observed that the surface of all samples has locally smooth textured surface structure in the short range. The texture aspect parameter and texture direction index have been obtained for isotropy/anisotropy surface texture. A significant relationship between the surface texture and the strength of the 〈111〉 texture in Irmn layer has been found. The analysis indicated that the surface roughness is strongly affected by the thicknesses of the NiFe seed and Ta buffer layers.

Nonlinear and saturable absorption properties of PbS nanocrystalline thin films

The structural, morphological, optical, and nonlinear optical properties of a lead sulfide （PbS） thin film grown by chemical bath deposition （CBD） are investigated by X-ray diffraction （XRD）, scanning electron microscope （SEm）, ultraviolet-visible （UV-Vis）, and open aperture Z-scan experiments. The band gap energy of the PbS nanocrystalline film is 1.82 eV~ higher than that of bulk PbS at 300 K. The nonlinear absorption properties of the film are investigated using the open aperture Z-scan technique at 1064 nm and pulse durations of 4 ns and 65 ps. Intensity-dependent switching of the film from nonlinear absorption to saturable absorption is observed. The nonlinear absorption coefficient increases monotonically with increasing pulse duration from 65 ps to 4 ns.

Effect of ultrasonic assisted KOH pretreatment on physiochemical characteristic and anaerobic digestion performance of wheat straw

In this study,ultrasonic field was applied during potassium hydroxide(KOH) pretreatment of wheat straw(WS).Three concentrations of KOH(2%,4%,and 6%) were tested during *** results showed that there was a significant influence of the ultrasonic assisted KOH pretreatment(KOH(Upt)) on physiochemical characteristics of WS during pretreatment as well as on digester *** pretreatment time was optimized to 36 h for all KOH *** highest total volatile fatty acid(TVFA) productions(3189 mg·L^-1) from 6%KOHupt samples were ***,the SEm analysis and FTIR observation revealed that KOH(Upt) effectively disrupted the physical morphology of WS and successful breaking of lignin and hemicellulose linkage between carboxyl ***,the highest biogasification(555 ml·(g VS(loaded))^-1) and biomethane productions(282 ml·(g VS(loaded))^-1) from 4%KOH(Upt) digesters,with 69% of biodegradability,indicated significant availability of organic matter from KOH(Upt).The R^2 values(0.993-0.998) in modified Gompertz model indicated that the model was feasible to predict methane yield for this ***,the Bo values for 4%KOH(Upt)(283.30±2.74 ml·(gVS(loaded))^-1) were also in agreement to the experimental methane *** results suggested that ultrasonic addition during KOH pretreatment of WS can effectively increase the organic yield during ***,the increase in methane production from 4% KOH(Upt) suggested that digester performance can be improved with lower KOH concentrations using this pretreatment.
