the wadi dahab delta is in a dry, arid coastal zone within Egypt’s south Sinai Peninsula’s eastern portion. the primary water source is the Quaternary coastal alluvial aquifer. the groundwater salinity varies from 890to 8213 mg/L, with a mean value of 3417 mg/L. the dissolved major ions have been used to calculate the seawater mixing index(SWmI) using a linear equation that discriminates the groundwater mostly affected by water–rock interaction(SWmI 1>) and other samples mixed with Seawater(SWmI the isotopic composition of groundwater for specifically chosen groundwater samples ranges from-0.645‰ to +5.212‰ for δ^(18)O and from-9.582‰ to + 22.778‰ for δ^(2)H, where the seawater represented by a Red Sea water sample(δ^(18)O + 1.64‰-δ^(2)H + 9.80‰) and reject brine water are considerably enriched the isotopic groundwater values. the geochemical NEtPAtH model constrained by the dissolved significant ions, isotopes, and the rock aquifer forming minerals as phases indicate the mixing percent with the seawater ranges from 9% to 97% of seawater from 91% to 3% of original recharge water. According to the SEAWAt 3-D flow models, seawater has penetrated the Northeastern Dahab delta aquifer, with the intrusion zone extending1500 m inland. the salt dissolution, upwelling of saline water, recharge from.t.e upstream mountain block, and seawater encroachment are the primary aspects contributing to the deterioration of groundwater quality. these findings may have significance for effective groundwater withdrawal management in arid locations worldwide with similar hydrogeological systems.

this study introduces a new classifier tailored to address the lim.t.tions inherent in conventional classifiers such as K-nearest neighbor(KNN),random forest(RF),decision tree(Dt),and support vector machine(SVm)for arrhythmia *** proposed classifier leverages the Chi-square distance as a primary m.t.ic,providing a specialized and original approach for precise arrhythmia *** optimize feature selection and refine the classifier’s performance,particle swarm optimization(PSO)is integrated with the Chi-square distance as a fitness *** synergistic integration enhances the classifier’s capabilities,resulting in a substantial improvement in accuracy for arrhythmia *** results demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed m.t.od,achieving a noteworthy accuracy rate of 98% with PSO,higher than 89% achieved without any previous *** classifier outperforms machine learning(mL)and deep learning(DL)techniques,underscoring its reliability and superiority in the realm of arrhythmia *** promising results render it an effective m.t.od to support both academic and medical communities,offering an advanced and precise solution for arrhythmia detection in electrocardiogram(ECG)data.

Following surface rupture observations in populated areas affected by the KahramanmaraşEarthquake(mw 7.7)on February 6th,2023,along the Pazarcık segment of the East Anatolian Fault Zone(EAFZ),this study presents novel insights into physical criteria for delineating surface fault-rupture hazard zones(SRHZs)along ruptured strike-slip *** achieve this objective,three trench studies across the surface rupture were conducted on the Pazarcık segment of the EAFZ to collect field data,and earthquake recurrence intervals were interpreted using Bayesian statistics from previously conducted paleoseismological *** results of the proposed model indicate that the Pazarcık segment produced five significant surface-rupturing earthquakes in the last∼11 kyr:E1:11.13±1.74 kyr,E2:7.62±1.20 kyr,E3:5.34±1.05 kyr,E4:1.82±0.93 kyr,and E5:0.35±0.11 *** addition,the recurrence intervals of destructive earthquakes on the subject in question range from 0.6 kyr to 4.8 *** that the last significant earthquake occurred in 1513,the longest time since the most recent surface fault rupturing earthquake on this particular segment was 511 *** results indicate that,in terms of the theoretical recurrence interval of earthquakes that can create surface ruptures on the Pazarcık segment,the period in which the February 6,2023,earthquake occurred was within the end of the expected return *** a result,the potential for a devastating earthquake in the near future is not foreseen on the same ***,the SRHZ proposed for the Pazarcık section of Gölbaşıvillage was calculated as a 61-m.t.r-wide offset on the fault lineament to reduce the negativities that may occur in the ruptured area in the *** is recommended to take into account this width in the settlement of this area and nearby areas.

AIm.t. determine the frequency of patients’vision survival and prognostic factors and evaluate clinical features in rhino-orbital ***:Forty-three eyes of 43 patients followed up with orbital mucormycosis infections were included in the *** characteristics of the patients,sym.t.ms at admission,ophthalmologic and non-ophthalmologic examination findings,clinical findings during follow-up,medical and surgical procedures,and complications were *** survival was determined by assessing the incidence of mortality,and vision survival was defined as achieving a final visual acuity of at least light ***:twenty-seven(62.8%)patients were male,and 16(37.2%)were *** the underlying disease status of the patients was examined,it was observed that all patients had an underlying disease and diabetes constituted the majority(65.2%).Periorbital swelling(69.8%)and ophthalmoplegia(53.5%)were the most common sym.t.ms and findings at the admission of patients with mucormycosis *** disease resulted in death in 22(51.2%)*** presence of fever and shorter duration of antifungal therapy were associated with lower patient *** surgery was not found to be associated with the survival of the *** eye,loss of pupillary light reflex,and development of central retinal artery occlusion were associated with lower vision ***:this study presents one of the most extensive patient series in the literature on rhino-orbital *** the patients’sym.t.ms at the time of admission and the clinical findings during the infection process will increase awareness about the disease.

Himalayan glaciers are shrinking rapidly,especially after *** shrinkage,however,shows a differential pattern in space and time,emphasizing the need to monitor and assess glacier changes at a larger *** this study,changes of 48 glaciers situated around the twin peaks of the Nun and Kun mountains in the northwestern Himalaya,hereafter referred to as Nun-Kun Group of Glaciers(NKGG),were investigated using Landsat satellite data during *** in glacier area,snout position,Equilibrium Line Altitude(ELA),surface thickness and glacier velocity were assessed using rem.t. sensing data supplemented by field *** study revealed that the NKGG glaciers have experienced a recession of 4.5%±3.4%and their snouts have retreated at the rate of 6.4±1.6 m·a^(-1).Additionally,there was a 41%increase observed in the debris cover area during the observation *** the geodetic approach,an average glacier elevation change of-1.4±0.4 m·a^(-1)was observed between 2000 and *** observed mass loss of the NKGG has resulted in the deceleration of glacier velocity from 27.0±3.7 m·a^(-1)in 2000 to 21.2±2.2 m·a^(-1)in *** ELA has shifted upwards by 83.0±22 m during the *** morphological and topographic factors showed a strong influence on glacier ***,a higher recession of 12.9%±3.2%was observed in small glaciers,compared to 2.7%±3.1%in larger *** debris-covered glaciers showed lower shrinkage(2.8%±1.1%)compared to the clean glaciers(9.3%±5%).the glacier depletion recorded in the NKGG during the last two decades,if continued,would severely diminish glacial volume and capacity to store water,thus jeopardizing the sustainability of water resources in the basin.

In this study,the spectroscopic param.t.rs of exotic molecular states composed of mesons containing two heavy quarks(scalar-axial and pseudoscalar-axial meson combinations)are investigated within the QCD sum *** findings reveal that molecular states containing charm quarks do not form bound states,whereas states with b-quarks can form exotic molecular *** observation has significant implications for understanding the structure of these exotic states.
