The effect of presence of silver nanoparticles in pure N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone(NmP)solvent for ethylene gas absorption in an experimental pressure decaying setup has been *** experiments were performed at temperatures of 278.15 K,298.15 K and 328.15 K and different pressures(up to ethylene dew point)as well as different concentrations of silver nanoparticles(0.05 g·L^(-1) and 0.1 g·L^(-1)).The kinetic data of absorption,Henry’s law constants,and heat of absorption were *** of the pure solvent and the nanofluids absorption results revealed that the presence of small amounts of nanoparticles could improve the absorption performance between 1.5%-18%.Finally,the effect of temperature,pressure,and nanoparticle concentration on the equilibrium results were investigated.

The North Tabriz fault is a segmented dextral fault in Northwest Iran, with a history of major destructive earthquakes that have repeatedly destroyed the city of Tabriz（current population 1.6 million）. The quiescence of the fault（last major temblor in 1854） and a lack of outcrop study have hampered stress analysis. Resolution of the stress states on the fault could be used for seismotectonic study along the North Tabriz fault and for understanding the geodynamics of the Arabia-Eurasia collision zone. Using fault-slip data collected from 88 localities in the fault system, we conducted an inversion analysis of this fault-slip data and analysis of the stratigraphic, geometric, and structural information. As a result, we confirmed that transcurrent deformation is prevalent on the North Tabriz fault and adjacent areas and is generally accomplished by predominant NW-sE-trending dextral and NE-sW-trending sinistral faults. specifically, three separate tectonic episodes are recognised from the stress inversion data, consistent with the geologic data：（i） a post-Cretaceous and pre-Early miocene compressional（Laramian） stress regime,（ii） an Early miocene extensional stress regime, and（iii） modern tectonic episode with different local stress regimes（compressional and extensional） along the different segments of this fault.

Experiments Design for Hardness Optimization of the Ni-Cr Alloy Electrodeposited by Pulse Plating

The hardness of the Ni-Cr alloy which is electrodeposited in chloride solution, is optimized by design of experiment method（central composite design）. Various parameters were evaluated in order to find significant factors in this process. Frequency, duty cycle, current density and temperature were selected as efective factors. Analyses of variance（ANOVA） were performed on the results of the designed experiments. The best model which can predict the hardness of the Ni-Cr alloy electrodeposits was found whereas the frequency and quadratic behaviour of the current density were the most significant model terms. serious interaction of the current density with frequency and duty cycle also were found in this model. Finally the optimum conditions of the factors for obtaining the maximum hardness of the Ni-Cr alloy were found. Ni-Cr alloy with hardness 828 HV（electrodeposited with frequency 63 Hz, current density 1800 A/m2, duty cycle 75% and temperature 31℃ bath） were assessed as the optimum deposit. The deposit under the optimum condition was investigated by scanning electron microscopy（sEm）, EDX analysis, polarization method and microhardness.

The involvement of the excitatory amino acids glutamate and aspartate in ce rebral ischemia and excitotoxicity is ***,the role of non-excitatory amino acids in brain damage following a stroke or brain trauma remains largely *** release of amino acids by necrotic cells in the ischemic core may contribute to the expansion of the *** findings indicated that the reversible loss of field excitato ry postsynaptic potentials caused by transient hypoxia became irreversible when exposed to a mixture of just four non-excitatory amino acids(L-alanine,glycine,L-glutamine,and L-serine)at their plasma *** amino acids induce swelling in the somas of neurons and astrocytes during hypoxia,along with permanent dendritic damage mediated by N-methyl-D-aspartate *** N-methyl-D-aspartate receptors prevented neuronal damage in the presence of these amino acids during *** is likely that astroglial swelling caused by the accumulation of these amino acids via the alanine-serine-cysteine transporter 2 exchanger and system N transporters activates volume-regulated anion channels,leading to the release of excitotoxins and subsequent neuronal damage through N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor ***,previously unrecognized mechanisms involving non-excitatory amino acids may contribute to the progression and expansion of brain injury in neurological emergencies such as stroke and traumatic brain *** these pathways co uld highlight new therapeutic targets to mitigate brain injury.
