Nano zinc oxide （ZnO） is a very useful and important material in many industrial and biological applications. In the present work, ZnO was synthesized by post thermal degradation of the precursor ＂zinc acetate di-hydrate＂ templated in crosslinked polyacrylic acid （PAA）. The crosslinked PAA template was prepared through an in-situ polymerization process adopted in presence of ammonium per sulphate, as an initiator, and N, Nt- methylene bis-acrylamide as the crosslinker. Variation of preparation parameters and their impact on the oxide stoichiometry, crystal structure, crystallite size and surface texture of the oxide were investigated. Energy dispersive X-ray technique （EDX）, X-ray diffraction （XRD） and scanning electron microscopy （sEm） were convincingly used to reveal the oxide structural features and characteristics. The performed bioassay tests indicated the efficacy of this method of preparation to produce nano ZnO with novel insecticidal activity against the greater wax moth, Galleria rnellonella.

The age at which a woman enters natural menopause has also been associated to death from any cause. menopause is a natural component of aging that happens between the ages of 45 and 55, with the average menopausal age being 51. Previous research has revealed the age at which women reach menopause, but there is no evidence to support the link between menopause and longevity. We made a study in assessing the limits of maximum lifespan at menopausal age in our previous article. In this paper, we aim to predict the maximum lifespan of women at mean menopausal age.

A suitable simple optical cryostat for optical, magneto-optical, electrical and thermo-electrical measurements was designed. It is suitable for use in a magnetic pool gap as narrow as less than 1 cm. Throughout a long period of time, the heat diffusion process of the cryostat can be easily operated at slow increase in sample temperature in a range 1.25 K/min at 200 K that will be reduced gradually to 0.66 K at room temperature. Liquid nitrogen was used to cool down the temperature. During the operation, the change in the measured energy gap of a semiconductor sample and other physical parameters resulting from the change of temperature can be corrected through the temperature coefficient of that parameter at the corresponding temperature. The cryostat was successfully used for all experiments mentioned above to measure the properties of a single crystal of GaP (Gallium Phosphate) semiconductor.

This paper reports a facile environmentally safe green combustion synthesis method of La3+doped CdO nanoparticles(NPs)using different concentrations of Aloe vera(A.V)gel as combustible *** crystallite size obtained using PXRD pattern is found to be 12-22 *** structural analysis was further analysed by Rietveld refinement *** X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPs)analysis reveals the presence of two electronic states of CdO around 400 and 411 eV attributed to Cd 3 d3/2 and 3 d3/2,*** photoluminescence(PL)studies were carried upon 350 nm excitation *** PL em.s.ion spectra are found to have two prominent peaks centered at 410 and 510 nm and are attributed to 5D3→7F1 and 5D1→7F0 transitions,*** Comm.s.ion International de l’Eclairage(CIE)chromaticity diagram reveals blue-green color *** correlation color temperature(CCT)value is found to be around^9793 *** obtained results suggest that the product is quite useful for cool light emitting diode applications when doping concentration is 2 mol%.

We demonstrate the possibility of creating a time gap in the slow light based on spectral hole burning in a fourlevel Doppler broadened sodium atomic system. A time gap is also observed between the slow and the fast light in the hole burning region and near the burnt hole region, respectively. A cloaking time gap is attained in microseconds and no distortion is observed in the transmitted pulse. The width of the time gap is observed to vary with the inverse Doppler effect in this system. Our results may provide a way to create multiple time gaps for a temporal cloak.

As one of the m.s. critical types of cancer,hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)affects many people *** study demonstrated the prospective use of atorvastatin,a drug that inhibits the mevalonate pathway,causing hypolipidemia,as a carrier to deliver the iodine-131(131I)isotope to liver tissues for HCC *** atorvastatin radioiodination method was optimized for utilizing the131I *** radiochemical quality and the in vitro stability of the generated[131I]atorvastatin were *** addition,the biodistribution experiments of[131I]atorvastatin were evaluated in both normal and HCC-induced rat models.[131I]atorvastatin was produced at a maximum radiochemical yield of 86.7±0.49%.The[131I]atorvastatin solution purified via high-performance liquid chromatography showed good in vitro stability for 12 h after *** analyses revealed remarkable liver targeting capacity of[131I]atorvastatin and good localization of131I in liver ***,the encouraging biochemical profile and histopathologicalfindings have been reported,and preliminary investigations on the possible use of[131I]atorvastatin as a radiotracer and its impact on HCC radiotherapy in rats show prom.s..

Egypt is characterized by wide occurrence of serpentinites, particularly in the central and southern parts of Eastern Desert. There are several cooperate factors that affect the serpentinites used as ornamental stones. These factors involve mineralogical characteristics (including mineral composition and microstructure parameter), physical properties and mechanical properties. Antigorite is an essential serpentinite mineral, with a minor amount of chrysotile. Talc, carbonates (magnesite and dolomite) and tremolite are the main associated minerals. Quality and quantity of associated minerals such as talc and carbonates (dolomite and magnesite) affect the properties of serpentinites used as ornamental stones. Carbonates are resistant to weathering but suffer from acidic cleaning agents in interior use, whereas serpentinites with a high content of talc used on external faces undergo an increase in volume and a consequent rapid degradation. studied serpentinites are characterized by relatively small grain size with foliated texture, low water absorption, low porosity, and high abrasion resistance. In the samples studied the uniaxial compressive strength (UCs) varies between 89 and 189 mPa, with an average of 152 mPa. According to the classification of Bell (1992), sample No. B8 is very high in strength while the rest high in strength.

The data collected from haul truck payload management systems at various surface mines show that the payload variance is significant and m.s. be considered in analysing the mine productivity, diesel energy consumption, greenhouse gas em.s.ions and associated costs. The aim of this study is to determine the energy and cost saving opportunities for truck haulage operations associated with the payload variance in surface mines. The results indicate that there is a non-linear relationship between the payload variance and the fuel consumption, greenhouse gas em.s.ions and associated costs. A correlation model, which is independent of haul road conditions, has been developed between the payload variance and the cost saving using the data from an Australian surface coal mine. The results of analysis for this particular mine show that a significant saving of fuel and greenhouse gas em.s.ions costs is possible if the standard deviation of payload is reduced from the maximum to minimum value.
