In this assignment we will present a reconstruction scheme between f(r) gravity with ordinary and entropy corrected(m, n)-type holographic dark energy. The correspondence is established and expressions for the reconstructed f(r) models are determined. To study the evolution of the reconstructed models plots are generated. The stability of the calculated models are also investigated using the squared speed of sound in the background of the reconstructed gravities.

Frozen shoulder-A prospective randomized clinical trial

AIm To compare the results of arthroscopic capsular release with intra-articular steroid injections in patients of frozen *** Fifty-six patients with frozen shoulder were randomised to one of two treatment groups: Group 1, complete 360 degree arthroscopic capsular release and group 2, intra-articular corticosteroid injection(40 mg methyl prednisolone acetate). Both groups were put on active and passive range of motion exercises following the intervention. The outcome parameters were visual analogue scale(VAS) score for pain, range of motion and Constant score which were measured at baseline, 4, 8, 12, 16 and 20 wk after *** All the parameters improved in both the groups. The mean VAS score improved significantly more in the group 1 as compared to group 2 at 8 wk. This greater improvement was maintained at 20 wk with P value of 0.007 at 8 wk, 0.006 at 12 wk, 0.006 at 16 wk and 0.019 at 20 wk. The Constant score showed a more significant improvement in group 1 compared to group 2 at 4 wk, which was again maintained at 20 wk with P value of 0.01 at 4, 8, 12 and 16 wk. The gain in abduction movement was statistically significantly more in arthroscopy group with P value of 0.001 at 4, 8, 12, 16 wk and 0.005 at 20 wk. The gain in external rotation was statistically significantly more in arthroscopy group with P value of 0.007 at 4 wk, 0.001 at 8, 12, and 16 wk and 0.003 at 20 wk. There was no statistically significant difference in extension and internal rotation between the two groups at any time. CONCLUSION Arthroscopic capsular release provides subjective and objective improvement earlier than intra-articular steroid injection.

Origin of clay minerals on section of Luochuan loesspalaeosol in Shaanxi Province,northwest China

Crystallinity,polytype,and morphology of clay minerals in the Luochuan loess-palaeosols in Shaanxi Province,northwest China were studied in order to have an insight into their origin using X-ray diffraction(XrD)analysis and scanning electron microscopy(SEm)*** SEm observations showed that the morphology of some illites seems to be lath-shaped *** analysis of illite crystallinity(IC)on the Luochuan section indicated that the origin of illite was related to the rocks of an *** illite in the Luochuan loess-palaeosol section were of 2m1 polytype,but some were of 1m polytype formed by weathering of feldspar in the process of *** in the Luochuan section has undergone both physical and chemical *** results revealed that most illite were of detrital origin related to the source area of an anchizone,but parts of the illite were of an authigenic origin formed during pedogenesis after *** in the samples of the Luochuan section were mainly composed of irregular flaky grains and their crystallinity was *** showed that chlorite had the detrital origin formed by physical *** crystallinity was relatively *** value of CIA on the Luochuan section ranges from 61.9 to 69,and therefore kaolinite could not be formed during weathering and *** results indicated that the kaolinite had a detrital *** of smectite seems to be *** XrD patterns of all samples contained diffraction peaks at 1.5218Å(nontronite)and 1.5052Å(montmorillonite),thus indicating an intermediate composition between trioctahedral and dioctahedral *** smectite crystallinity was very *** results revealed that smectite in the study area was authigenic rather than detrital origin.

Assessment of mercury Concentrations in Water and Fish Tissue Analysis in Kaw Lake, Oklahoma, 2022

The Kaw Nation has been collecting water, sediment, and fish samples from Kaw Lake and upper Arkansas river from 2007 to present to examine the concentrations of mercury and other heavy metals to protect the health of the tribal members. Kaw Lake is in the North-Central part of Oklahoma. Kaw Lake is a permanent water body constructed in 1976 by the Army of Corps of Engineers. The Lake is consistently fed by the Arkansas river and other tributaries as runoff coming all the way from Colorado through Kansas to Kaw Lake of Oklahoma. The Lake has a surface area of 26.64 square miles (69 km2) and shoreline of 168 miles (270 km) with a total drainage area of 56,345 square miles (145,393 km2) and an average water depth of 8 meters. The water and fish samples were collected from 7 sites of Kaw Lake, once in a month and the fish samples once in a year during summertime, early July to end of July. The fish samples focused on 5 sport, predator, and bottom dwelling species of large consumable size, greater than 200 mm length and 560 grams weight. The five fish sampled were Catfish, White bass, Largemouth and Smallmouth bass, Black and White crappie. The fish and water samples were sent to Accurate Environmental Labs for detailed analysis. Predator species were analyzed as fillet and the bottom dwellings as a whole fish using EPA method 7471A-m. mercury from Water and Fish Tissue Samples were analyzed by Atomic Fluorescence Spectrometry. The laboratory analysis indicated that all the mercury concentration in the fish samples except in Blue Catfish and Spotted Bass fall below the maximum Contaminant Level (mCL) of 0.5 mg/kg.

AIm: Helicobacter pylori (H pylori) is associated with increased gastric inflammatory and epithelial expression of macrophage migration inhibitory factor (mIF) and gastric epithelial cell proliferation. This study aimed at determining whether H pylori directly stimulates release of mIF in monocytes, whether the cag pathogenicity island (PAI) is involved for this function, and whether mIF stimulated by H pylori increases gastric epithelial cell proliferation in vitro. mETHODS: A cytotoxic wild-type H pylori strain (TN2), its three isogenic mutants (TN2Δcag,TN2ΔcagA and TN2ΔcagE) were co-cultured with cells of a human monocyte cell line, THP-1, for 24 h at different organism/ cell ratios. mIF in the supernatants was measured by an ELISA. Cells of a human gastric cancer cell line, mKN45, were then co-cultured with the supernatants, with and without monoclonal anti-mIF antibody for 24 h. The cells were further incubated for 12 h after addition of 3H-thymidine, and the levels of incorporation of 3H-thymidine were measured with a liquid scintillation counter. rESULTS: The wild-type strain and the isogenic mutants, TN2ΔcagA and TN2ΔcagE, increased mIF release at organism/cell ratios of 200/1 and 400/1, but not at the ratios of 50/1 and 100/1. However, the mutant TN2Δcag did not increase the release of mIF at any of the four ratios. 3H-thymidine readings for mKN-45 cells were significantly increased with supernatants derived from the wild-type strain and the mutants TN2ΔcagA and TN2ΔcagE, but not from the mutant TN2Δcag. moreover, in the presence of monoclonal anti-mIF antibody, the stimulatory effects of the wild-type strain on cell proliferation disappeared. CONCLUSION: H pylori stimulates mIF release in monocytes, likely through its cag PAI, but not related to cagA or cagE. H pylori-stimulated monocyte culture supernatant increases gastric cell proliferation, which is blocked by anti-mIF antibody, suggesting that mIF plays an important role in H pylori-induced gastric ep

Predictors for difficult cecal insertion in colonoscopy: The impact of obesity indices

AIm To identify the factors influencing cecal insertion time(CIT) and to evaluate the effect of obesity indices on CIT. mETHODS We retrospectively reviewed the data for participants who received both colonoscopy and abdominal computed tomography(CT) from February 2008 to may 2008 as part of a comprehensive health screening program. Age, gender, obesity indices [body mass index(BmI), waist-to-hip circumference ratio(WHr), waist circumference(WC), visceral adipose tissue(VAT)volume and subcutaneous adipose tissue(SAT) volume on abdominal CT], history of prior abdominal surgery, constipation, experience of the colonoscopist, quality of bowel preparation, diverticulosis and time required to reach the cecum were analyzed. CIT was categorized as longer than 10 min(prolonged CIT) and shorter than or equal to 10 min, and then the factors that required a CIT longer than 10 min were *** A total of 1678 participants were enrolled. The mean age was 50.42 ± 9.931 years and 60.3% were men. The mean BmI, WHr, WC, VAT volume and SAT volume were 23.92 ± 2.964 kg/m2, 0.90 ± 0.076, 86.95 ± 8.030 cm, 905.29 ± 475.220 cm3 and 1707.72 ± 576.550 cm3, respectively. The number of patients who underwent abdominal surgery was 268(16.0%). Colonoscopy was performed by an attending physician alone in 61.9% of cases and with the involvement of a fellow in 38.1% of cases. The median CIT was 7 min(range 2-56 min, IQr 5-10 min), and mean CIT was 8.58 ± 5.291 min. Being female, BmI, VAT volume and involvement of fellow were significantly associated with a prolonged CIT in univariable analysis. In multivariable analysis, being female(Or = 1.29, P = 0.047), lower BmI(m2)(Or = 1.62, P = 0.004) or higher BmI(≥ 25 kg/m2)(Or = 1.80, P me(m3)(Or = 1.50, P = 0.013) and fellow involvement(Or = 1.73, P re significant predictors of prolonged CIT.
