The influence of resistance exercise training prescription variables on skeletal muscle mass,strength,and physical function in healthy adults:An umbrella review

Effects of B[a]P-UVA Co-Exposure on Epigenetic marks of Isolated Skin Cells and Impact of an Arundo donax l. Extract of These Changes

Background: Extrinsic aging results from environmental stressors such as UVR or pollutants. While the effects of single pollutants are better understood, those of their combination remain poorly scrutinized. Objective: Building on a study showing downregulation of several processes upon co-exposure to B[a]P and UVA, we investigated changes induced by epigenetic marks. materials and methods: Human primary fibroblasts and HaCaT cells were exposed to B[a]P and UVA. After 24 hours, exposed and unexposed cells were compared to assess DnA methylation. Focusing on HaCaT, multiplex assays enabled quantifying histone H3 modifications and evaluating four splicing factors (SRSF1, SRSF3, SFPQ, and SF3B1) by immunohistochemical labeling. The expression of keratinocyte-/fibroblast-relevant genes was assessed by rt-qPCR. Finally, the impact of an Arundo donax l. extract added 24 hours before B[a]P-UVA co-exposure was analyzed. Results: Exposure to B[a]P-UVA raised DnA methylation (HaCaT: ×3.6, fibroblasts: ×1.9), an increase prevented by the extract. In HaCaT cells, B[a]P-UVA increases the frequency of S10P (+38%). When exposure was preceded by extract treatment, the frequency of several methylations was impacted. B[a]P-UVA only induced the expression of SRSF1 and SFPQ in HaCaT (+46% and +34%). Treatment with the extract abolished this effect. Co-exposure increases the expression of inflammation-related genes (Il-1α, Il-1β) in HaCaT cells and decreases those of AQP3, Krt15, and SOD2. The extract has little effect on these changes. In primary fibroblasts, exposure to B[a]P-UVA lowered the expression of lOXl2, lUm, and TGFBR2 (−38%, −59%, and −51%, respectively), and the extract did not affect these modifications. Conclusion: Within 24 hours, a single B[a]P-UVA co-exposure changes epigenetic marks of skin cells but has only mild effects on gene expression. Evolution of Viral load in Patients Infected with HIV-1 at Point G University Hospital

Introduction: HIV, the human immunodeficiency virus, is the etiological agent of acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). The aim of this study was to assess the evolution of the viral load in patients under treatment. methodology: This was a study carried out from July 2017 to June 2022 at the Point G University Hospital laboratory. The determination of the viral load of patients was carried out by PCR on the ABOTT m2000sp/rt platform. Results: A total of 129 patients infected with HIV-1, aged 19 to 72 years with a mean age of 40.05 years ± 10.71;all on antiretroviral chemotherapy. The female gender predominated among our patients. The most common treatment regimen was 2InTI + 1InnTI with 72.9% followed by 2InTI + 1InI with 13.2%. As for the combinations of molecules, the combination TDF + 3TC + EFV and TDF + 3TC + DTG predominated, respectively 65.1% and 13.2%. 89.9% of our patients had undetectable viremia after 12 months of treatment (p n average viral load which had evolved from 681315.65 copies/ml ± 1616908.484 to m0 at 5742.36 copies /ml ± 35756.883 at m12 (p Conclusion: Generally speaking, antiretroviral treatment had contributed to controlling viral loads, however the therapeutic combination TDF + 3TC + DTG had made it possible to obtain more patients with undetectable viremia instead.

In this study,SrFe12-xTbxO19(0.00≤x≤0.1)hexaferrites(HFs)were prepared successfully by citrate solgel approach.X-ray powder diffraction analyses affirm the hexagonal structure of *** phase starts to appear for x≥*** crystallites sizes were estimated to be in the range of 33-46 *** the products exhibit inhomogeneous distribution of grain size detected through *** analyses of magnetization versus applied magnetic field,m(H),were *** measurements were done at room(300 K;rt)and low(10 K)*** different magnetic parameters including saturation magnetization ms,remanence mr,squareness ratio(SQR=mr/ms),coercivity Hc,and magnetic moment nB are deduced and discussed in *** both considered temperatures,m(H)results show ferrimagnetic nature for all *** is shown that the Tb substitutions significantly affect m(H)data.A significant increase in the ms,mr,and nB is observed for x=0.02 *** SQR values are around 0.5 indicating the single domain nature with uniaxial *** obtained magnetic results were investigated deeply with relation to structural and microstructural *** spectroscopy results were also *** to mossbauer results,the Tb3+ions preferentially occupy 12 k and 4f2 sites.
