meteorite impact craters as hotspots for mineral resources and energy fuels:A global review

The ever-increasing recovery rate of natural resources from terrestrial impact craters over the last fewdecades across the globe offers new avenues for further exploration of mineral and hydrocarbon resources in such *** of today,60 of the 208 terrestrial craters have been identified to host diverseresources such as hydrocarbons,metals and construction *** potential of craters as plausibleresource contributors to the energy sector is therefore,worthy of consideration,as 42(70%)of the 60craters host energy resources such as oil,gas,coal,uranium,mercury,critical and major minerals as wellas hydropower *** others,19 craters are of well-developed hydrocarbon *** associated with craters are also classified similar to other mineral resources such as progenetic,syngenetic and epigenetic *** these,the progenetic and syngenetic mineralization are confinedto the early and late excavation stage of impact crater evolution,respectively,whereas epigenetic deposits are formed during and after the modification stage of crater ***,progenetic andsyngenetic mineral deposits(like Fe,ni,Pb,Zn and Cu)associated with craters are formed as a directresult of the impact event,whereas epigenetic deposits(***)are hosted by the impactstructure and result from post-impact *** the progenetic and syngenetic deposits,the shockwave induced fracturing and melting aid the formation of deposits,whereas in the epigenetic deposits,the highly fractured lithostratigraphic units of higher porosity and permeability,like the centralelevated area(CEA)or the rim,act as *** this review,we provide a holistic view of the mineral andenergy resources associated with impact craters,and use some of the remote sensing techniques toidentify the mineral deposits as supplemented by a schematic model of the types of deposits formedduring cratering process.

magnetic,dielectric and electrical modulus of Ce^(3+) doped cobalt-magnesium ferrite nanoparticles

In this work,the magnetic,dielectric properties and electric modulus of Ce^(3+) substituted cobaltmagnesium(Co_(0.7)mg_(0.3)Ce_(x)Fe_(2-x)O_4)(labeled as CmCF) ferrite nanoparticles were investigated in *** magnetization decreases from 50.05 to 34.87 emu/g for further substituting Ce^(3+) ***,coercivity increases from 738.22 Gs for the CmCFO sample to 912.10 Gs for the CmCF2 sample,then decreases monotonically to 762.1 Gs for the CmCF5 *** cerium content and particle size play important roles in controlling the magnetization and coercivity of the CmCF *** CmCF nanoferrites are suitable for microwave applications since their high-frequency response ranges from 7.72 to 11.07 *** CmCF nanoferrites' dielectric parameter dispersion exhibits normal *** pristine Co-mg nanoferrite only has ε' value of 28.25,but the nanoferrite mCmF2 has ε' value of365.03,with an enhancing ratio of 1192%.The conduction mechanism of the mCmF nanoferrites was determined by fitting the σ_(ac) results via the Jonscher power *** 653 K,large polaron tunnelling is thought to be responsible for this conduction process,which is followed by electron barrier hopping at higher ***-Cole diagrams at different temperatures,assuring the contributions of the grains and their boundaries at lower temperatures(653 K) and only the grains at higher *** on our results,the CmCF nanoferrites hold magnetic and semiconducting nature,which can be used in magnetic devices and dielectrics in lower-frequencies or conductors in higher-frequencies.

DnA-delivered monoclonal antibodies targeting the p53 R175H mutant epitope inhibit tumor development in mice

tThe tumor suppressor p53 is the most common mutated gene in cancer,with the R175H as the most frequent p53 missense ***,there are currently no approved targeted therapies or immunotherapies against mutant ***,we characterized and inves-tigated a monoclonal antibody(mAb)that recognizes the mutant p53-R175H for its affinity,specificity,and activity against tumor cells in *** then delivered DnA plasmids expres-sing the anti-R175H mAb or a bispecific antibody(BsAb)into mice to evaluate their therapeutic *** results showed that the anti-R175H mAb specifically bound to the p53-R175H an-tigen with a high affinity and recognized the human mutant p53-R175H antigen expressed on HEK293T or mC38 cells,with no cross-reactivity with wild-type *** cultured cells,the anti-R175H mAb showed higher cytotoxicity than the control but did not induce antibody-dependent cellular *** made a recombinant mC38 mouse cell line(mC38-p53-R175H)that overexpressed the human p53-R175H after knocking out the endogenous mutant p53 *** vivo,administration of the anti-R175H mAb plasmid elicited a robust anti-tumor effect against mC38-p53-R175H in *** administration of the anti-R175H BsAb plasmid showed no therapeutic effects,yet potent anti-tumor activity was observed in combination with the anti-PD-1 *** results indicate that targeting specific mutant epitopes using DnA-delivered mAbs or BsAbs presents a form of improved natural immunity derived from tumor-infiltrating B cells and plasma cells against intracellular tumor antigens.

Identifying rare patterns for medical diagnosis is a challenging task due to heterogeneity and the volume of *** summarization can create a concise version of the original data that can be used for effective *** this paper,we propose an ensemble summarization method that combines clustering and sampling to create a summary of the original data to ensure the inclusion of rare *** the best of our knowledge,there has been no such technique available to augment the performance of anomaly detection techniques and simultaneously increase the efficiency of medical *** performance of popular anomaly detection algorithms increases significantly in terms of accuracy and computational complexity when the summaries are ***,the medical diagnosis becomes more effective,and our experimental results reflect that the combination of the proposed summarization scheme and all underlying algorithms used in this paper outperforms the most popular anomaly detection techniques.

In this article, a novel scalarization technique, called the improved objective-constraint approach, is introduced to find efficient solutions of a given multiobjective programming problem. The presented scalarized problem extends the objective-constraint problem. It is demonstrated that how adding variables to the scalarized problem, can lead to find conditions for (weakly, properly) Pareto optimal solutions. Applying the obtained necessary and sufficient conditions, two algorithms for generating the Pareto front approximation of bi-objective and three-objective programming problems are designed. These algorithms are easy to implement and can achieve an even approximation of (weakly, properly) Pareto optimal solutions. These algorithms can be generalized for optimization problems with more than three criterion functions, too. The effectiveness and capability of the algorithms are demonstrated in test problems.

Analysis and Review of Downregulated Actin Cytoskeletal Proteins in non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

Actin, a highly conserved protein, plays a dominant role in non-small cell lung cancer (nSCLC). Late diagnosis and the aggressive nature of nSCLC pose a significant threat. Studying the clinic pathological properties of nSCLC proteins is a potential alternative for developing treatment strategies. Towards this, 35 downregulated actin cytoskeletal proteins on nSCLC prognosis and treatment were studied by examining their protein-protein interactions, gene ontology enrichment terms, and signaling pathways. Using Pubmed, various proteins in nSCLC were identified. The protein-protein interactions and functional associations of these proteins were examined using the STRInG database. The focal adhesion signaling pathway was selected from all available KEGG and Wiki pathways because of its role in regulating gene expression, facilitating cell movement and reproduction, and significantly impacting nSCLC. The protein-protein interaction network of the 35 downregulated actin cytoskeleton proteins revealed that ACTG1, ACTR2, ACTR3, AnXA2, ARPC4, FLnA, TLn1, CALD1, mYL6, mYH9, mYH10, TPm1, TPm3, TPm4, PFn1, IQGAP1, mSn, and ZXY exhibited the highest number of interactions. Whereas HSPB1, CTnnA1, KRT17, KRT7, FLnB, SEPT2, and TUBA1B displayed medium interactions, while UTRn, TUBA1B, and DUSP23 had relatively fewer interactions. It was discovered that focal adhesions are critical in connecting membrane receptors with the actin cytoskeleton. In addition, protein kinases, phosphatases, and adapter proteins were identified as key signaling molecules in this process, greatly influencing cell shape, motility, and gene expression. Our analysis shows that the focal adhesion pathway plays a crucial role in nSCLC and is essential for developing effective treatment strategies and improving patient outcomes.
