Dust-acoustic waves(DAWs)are analyzed in the small amplitude limit in a collisionless unmagnetized dusty plasma whose constituents are inertial dust grains,massless ions expressed by the generalized(r,q)distribution and inertialess maxwellian electrons using the fluid theory of *** modified Kadomtsev-Petviashvili(mKP)equation is derived at a critical plasma condition for which the quadratic nonlinearity *** propagation of single soliton and interaction of two solitons are analyzed for the mKP equation in the context of plasma physics by employing Hirota bilinear *** effects of the flatness parameter rand tail parameter q of the ions on the frequency of the DAWs are studied and the comparison with maxwellian and kappa distributions is *** the plasma parameters corresponding to the Saturn’s E-ring,the range of electric field amplitude for dust-acoustic solitary waves(DASWs)for different ion distributions is calculated and is shown to agree very well with the Cassini Wideband Receiver(WBR)*** interaction time of two DASWs for non-maxwellian ion distributions is estimated and shown to be fastest for the(r,q)distributed *** interesting feature of the interaction between compressive solitons with their rarefactive counterparts is also discussed in detail.

Investigation of Ovarian Follicular Waves and major Hormonal Profile in Red Chittagong Cattle

Red Chittagong Cattle (RCC) is one of the renowned varieties of cattle which is indigenous and most potential type of domestic animal genetic resource in Bangladesh with distinct phenotypic characteristics. Reproductive management might be a process for multiplying this cattle variety. Therefore, the goals of this study were to characterize the follicular waves of RCC and to determine the Progesterone (P4), Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) and Luteinizing Hormone (LH) profile during three consecutive estrus cycle. Follicular wave emergence (Day 0) was identified using trans-vaginal ultrasound technique and follicular growth was then monitored from Day 0 to Day 23 during three consecutive estrus cycle and blood samples were collected. After measuring the growth and diameter of the follicles, hormonal assays of collected blood samples were performed using Enzyme Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA). We found that, both RCC cows and heifers showed two waves inter-ovulatory intervals. The length of inter-ovulatory intervals and the diameter of the ovulatory follicle of RCC cows and heifers were slightly different from each other. The identification of the dominant follicle was confirmed from the start of its deviation from other subordinate follicles till it reached to the maximum diameter and identified as dominant follicle which increases linearly for approximately six days (growing phase). This dominant follicle is remained approximately same size for five days (static phase), and then begins to regress (regressing phase) decreasing the antral diameter. The follicular waves are first detectable as 4 - 5 mm follicles approximately at day 0 and day 10 both for RCC cows and heifers which showed two waves inter-ovulatory intervals. The circulating varied concentrations of LH, FSH and P4 were determined using ELISA in case of both cows and heifers and the concentration curves followed the similar pattern of change during the estrus cycle. Effect of Biological Activity on Broadband Passive Fathometry

A passive fathometer can be formed by two vertically separated hydrophones. The depth can be estimated from the Green’s function between the hydrophones, which is calculated from the cross-correlation between ocean ambient noise fields received at those two hydrophones. The performance of the fathometer depends on the signal to noise ratio (SNR) and the resolution of the noise cross-correlation function. In a given environment, improved SNR and resolution of the cross-correlation function can be achieved through longer observations, more observation points, or increasing bandwidth. Long time averaging has been demonstrated, but requires that the channel be stationary over the averaging time. Hydrophone arrays are commonly used, but result in increased cost and complexity. Recent work shows that the SNR and resolution of the correlation function can also be improved by the use of the large bandwidth noise fields. This paper shows that the non-surface biological noise generated by marine animals, such as shrimp, is one of the major issues in the performance of such a broadband passive fathometer operating in shallow water. This noise tends to occur at higher frequencies. Frequencies at which significant non-surface biological noise is present cannot be used to improve fathometer performance. Consequently, the upper limit of frequencies that can be used in a passive fathometer is limited by the lower limit of the bandwidth occupied by the biological noise.

Trade-Off between Bandwidth and Number of Array Elements in the Performance Enhancement of Passive Fathometer

Improved signal to noise ratio (SNR) and resolution of the ambient noise cross-correlation function (NCF) between two points help in the estimation of bottom profile of the ocean. One of the main requirements of the improvement of the SNR and resolution is collection of a large amount of data. These large amounts of data can be achieved by recording a large bandwidth ambient noise or using an array of hydrophones. This paper evaluates the performance of the array processing and compares it to the large bandwidth technique in terms of SNR and resolution of NCF. It is shown that the large bandwidth technique gives better SNR and resolution compared to the array processing technique under certain conditions. The outcome of this article finds application in the enhanced estimation of the passive fathometer.

为分析硅压力传感器基座受力变形对传感器输出性能的影响,首先利用弹性力学理论和板壳理论分析推导了压力传感器方形膜片应力分布,为力敏电阻在应变膜上的布置提供依据;再利用ANSYS进行分析模拟,探究了传感器基座结构变形对应变膜应力差的影响;然后针对减小基座受力变形对芯片受力的影响,对基座结构进行适当优化,并对比仿真分析的结果;最后通过实验测得优化前后的传感器输出数据.结果表明,传感器基座结构优化后,传感器硅芯片中心最大变形量从2.172μm降低到1.819μm,输出误差从0.95%下降到0.60%.

Testing and Analysis of VoIPv6 (Voice over Internet Protocol V6) Performance Using FreeBSD

This study focuses on testing and quality measurement and analysis of VoIPv6 performance. A client, server codes were developed using FreeBSD. This is a step before analyzing the Architectures of VoIPv6 in the current internet in order for it to cope with IPv6 traffic transmission requirements in general and specifically voice traffic, which is being attracting the efforts of research, bodes currently. These tests were conducted in the application level without looking into the network level of the network. VoIPv6 performance tests were conducted in the current tunneled and native IPv6 aiming for better end-to-end VoIPv6 performance. The results obtained in this study were shown in deferent codec's for different bit rates in Kilo bits per second, which act as an indicator for the better performance of G.711 compared with the rest of the tested codes.

Comparative investigation of the free radical scavenging potential and anticancer property of Diospyros blancoi(Ebenaceae)

Objective: To investigate the comparative effects of Diospyros blancoi(Ebenaceae)leaves(DBL), root bark(DBRB) and stem bark(DBSB) on free radicals and ***: The polyphenol contents, antioxidant and free radical scavenging properties were determined using standard spectrophotometric methods. Cytotoxicity and anticancer activities were performed on brine shrimp nauplii and Ehrlich ascite carcinoma cells, ***: Among the extracts, DBSB showed the highest total antioxidant capacity and reducing capacity on ferrous ion. Based on 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl and hydroxyl radical scavenging activities, DBSB showed(95.760 ± 0.343)% and(67.460 ± 2.641)%scavenging with IC50of(3.10 ± 0.17) and(50.00 ± 3.11) mg/m L, respectively. The IC50 values of standard butylated hydroxytoluene and catechin(CA) for 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl and hydroxyl radicals were(8.50 ± 0.25) and(75.00 ± 0.14) mg/m L,respectively suggesting that DBSB had a significant(P DBRB > CA > ***, the phenolic [(139.91 ± 3.924) mg gallic acid equivalent/g] and flavonoid contents[(412.00 ± 16.70) mg catechin equivalent/g)] of DBSB were higher than that of other extracts. In addition, the DBSB showed the moderate cytotoxic and anticancer ***: Our results indicate that Diospyros blancoi stem bark had the significant highest antioxidant and free radical scavenging properties as well as moderate anticancer ***, we assume that the anticancer activity of this plant can be, at least in part, attributed to its content in phenolic compounds as well as its significant free radical scavenging properties.

Heavy metal Analysis in Groundwater in the Vicinity of Distillery Spent Wash Evaporation Ponds

The study was conducted to assess the effect of evaporation ponds of an ethanol distillery spent wash on groundwater, with a reference to heavy metal contamination. The distillery discharging 11,880 m3 spent wash per day is extremely loaded with minerals and chemical oxygen demanding organic substances. The groundwater around the evaporation ponds is used for drinking and irrigation purposes. Thirty-five representative samples （three spent wash, two drainage water and 30 groundwater） were examined for 13 different parameters： pH, TDS （total dissolved solids）, COD （chemical oxygen demand）, the heavy metal Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, mn, Ni, Zn, Pb and As concentrations. The physico-chemical parameters were found in following range pH 7.2-7.7 ＆ 6.8-7.7, TDS 24,448-28,608 mg/L ＆ 302-4,406 mg/L, COD 20,080-24,320 mg/L ＆ 0.0-53 mg/L, Cd 190-140 μg/L ＆ 1.5-8.7 μg/L, Co 1,240-1,987 μg/L ＆ 20.5-87.2 μg/L, Cr 1,020-1,330 μg/L ＆ 14.4-38.1 μg/L, Cu 5,200-6,300 μg/L ＆ 15.0-109.3 μg/L, Fe 2,910-3,242 μg/L ＆ 0-860 μg/L, mn 49,900-59,500 μg/L ＆ 16.3-138.7 μg/L, Ni 1,430-1,760 μg/L ＆ 8.0-107.7 μg/L, Zn 3,359-5,250 μg/L ＆ 0.0-850 μg/L, Pb 8.9-9.8 μg/L ＆ BD （below detection）-8.7 μg/L, As 5.0 μg/L ＆ BD-10.0 μg/L for spent wash and groundwater samples, respectively. The drainage water samples had parameters within limits for industrial effluents. The spent wash samples contained metal ions higher than the permissible limits for industrial effluents and the samples of groundwater collected around the evaporation ponds contained higher concentrations of metal ions as compared to samples collected away from the evaporation ponds. Coefficient of correμtion among 11 parameters was calcuμted and contamination index was also determined, 33.3% of groundwater samples mostly collected around evaporation ponds had a contamination index above 3 and are considered extremely polluted.
