对空间框架的基本单元——空心圆管状节点的行为进行了分析。为了获得最好的设计,从试验和理论上,对构成节点体系的不同元素进行了研究,以精确确定在外部荷载作用下的响应。借助原型试验,采用有限元方法,对不同变量理论分析的结果进行了验证。在三维空间中,对结构以及局部进行了数值分析:对于局部,研究分割开的单元;对于整体,研究"心"型节点的工作性能。由于构成节点的不同单元的接触和非线性行为,使得模拟的最大困难在螺栓节点上。最后,对类似结构计算的简化程序给出了建议,得到了结论。

The global trends towards improving fuel efficiency and reducing CO;emissions are the key drivers for lightweight solutions. In sheet metal processing, this can be achieved by the use of materials with a supreme strength-toweight and stiffness-to-weight ratio. Besides monolithic materials such as high-strength or light metals, in particular metal–plastic composite sheets are able to provide outstanding mechanical properties. Thus, the adaption of conventional, wellestablished forming methods for the processing of hybrid sheet metals is a current challenge for the sheet metal working industry. In this work, the planning phase for a conventional sheet metal forming process is studied aiming at the forming of metal–plastic composite sheets. The single process steps like material characterization, FE analysis, tool design and development of robust process parameters are studied in detail and adapted to the specific properties of metal–plastic composites. In material characterization, the model of the hybrid laminate needs to represent not only the mechanical properties of the individual combined materials, but also needs to reflect the behaviour of the interface zone between *** on experience, there is a strong dependency on temperature as well as strain rate. While monolithic materials show a moderate anisotropic behaviour, loads on laminates in different directions generate different strain states and completely different failure modes. During the FE analysis, thermo-mechanic and thermo-dynamic effects influence the temperature distribution within tool and work pieces and subsequently the forming behaviour. During try out and production phase,those additional influencing factors are limiting the process window even more and therefore need to be considered for the design of a robust forming process. A roadmap for sheet metal forming adjusted to metal–plastic composites is presented in this paper.

Background:Given the pervasive issues of obesity and diabetes both in Puerto rico and the broader United States,there is a compelling need to investigate the intricate interplay among body mass index(BmI),pregesta-tional,and gestational maternal diabetes,and their potential impact on the occurrence of congenital heart defects(CHD)during neonatal ***:Using the comprehensive System of Vigilance and Surveillance of Congenital Defects in Puerto rico,we conducted a focused analysis on neonates diagnosed with CHD between 2016 and *** assessment encompassed a range of variables,including maternal age,gestational age,BmI,pregestational diabetes,gestational diabetes,hypertension,history of abortion,and presence of ***:A cohort of 673 patients was included in our *** average maternal age was 26 years,within a range of 22 to 32 *** mean gestational age measured 39 weeks,with a median span of 38 to 39 *** the 673 patients,274(41%)mothers gave birth to neonates diagnosed with *** this group,22 cases were linked to pre-gestational diabetes,while 202 were not;20 instances were associated with gestational diabetes,compared to 200 without;and 148 cases exhibited an overweight or obese BmI,whereas 126 displayed a normal ***:We identiﬁed a statistically signiﬁcant correlation between pre-gestational diabetes mellitus and the occurrence of ***,our analysis did not show a statistically signiﬁcant association between maternal BmI and the likelihood of *** results may aid in developing effective strategies to prevent and manage CHD in neonates.

Air pollution has become an important issue,especially in Caribbean urban areas,and,particulate matter(Pm)emitted by different natural and anthropogenic sources causes environmental and health *** this work,we studied the concentrations of Pm_(10) and Pm_(2.5) sources in an industrial and port urban area in the Caribbean region of *** samples were collected within 48-h periods between April and October 2018 by using a Partisol 2000 i-D *** geochemical characterization was performed by X-ray fluorescence(XRF)***,ionic species and black carbon(BC)were quantified by ion chromatography and reflectance spectroscopy,*** the Positive matrix Factorization(PmF)receptor model,the contributions of Pm sources were *** average concentration of Pm_(10) was 46.6±16.2μg/m^(3),with high concentrations of Cl and *** Pm_(2.5),the average concentration was 12.0±3.2μg/m^(3),and the most abundant components were BC,S,and *** receptor model identified five sources for Pm_(10) and Pm_(2.5).For both fractions,the contributions of marine sea spray,re-suspended soil,and vehicular traffic were *** addition,Pm_(2.5) included two mixed sources were found to be fuel oil combustion with fertilizer industry emissions,and secondary aerosol sources with building construction ***,Pm_(10) was found to also include building construction emissions with re-suspended soil,and metallurgical industry *** obtained geochemical atmospheric results are important for the implementation of strategies for the continuous improvement of the air quality of the Caribbean region.

Despite its proximity to other well studied islands, Cebu has received little attention from herpetologists, most likely because of early deforestation and the perception very little natural habitat remains for amphibians and reptiles. In this study, we present a preliminary assessment of island＇s herpetofauna, focusing our field work on Cebu＇s last remaining forest fragments and synthesizing all available historical museum distribution data. We surveyed amphibians and reptile populations using standardized methods to allow for comparisons between sites and assess sufficiency of sampling effort. Fieldwork resulted in a total of 27 species recorded from five study sites, complementing the 58 species previously known from the island. Together, our data and historical museum records increase the known number of Cebu＇s resident species to 13 amphibians（frogs） and 63 reptiles（lizards, snakes, turtle, crocodile）. We recorded the continued persistence Cebu＇s rare and endemic lizard（Brachymeles cebuensis） and secretive snakes such as malayotyphlops hypogius, and Ramphotyhlops cumingii, which persist despite Cebu＇s long history of widespread and continuous habitat degradation. most species encountered, including common and widespread taxa, appeared to persist at low population abundances. To facilitate the immediate recovery of the remaining forest fragments, and resident herpetofauna, conservation effort must be sustained. However, prior to any conservation interventions, ecological baselines must be established to inform the process of recovery.

Restoration of kidney tubular epithelium following sublethal injury sequentially involves partial epithelial–mesenchymal transition(pEmT),proliferation,and further redifferentiation into specialized tubule epithelial cells(TECs).Because the immunosuppressant cyclosporine-A produces pEmT in TECs and inhibits the peptidyl-prolyl isomerase(PPIase)activity of cyclophilin(Cyp)proteins,we hypothesized that cyclophilins could regulate TEC *** we demonstrate that in cultured TECs,CypA silencing triggers loss of epithelial features and enhances transforming growth factorβ(TGFβ)-induced EmT in association with upregulation of epithelial repressors Slug and *** pro-epithelial action of CypA relies on its PPIase *** contrast,CypB emerges as an epithelial repressor,because CypB silencing promotes epithelial differentiation,prevents TGFβ-induced EmT,and induces tubular structures in 3D *** addition,in the kidneys of CypB knockout mice subjected to unilateral ureteral obstruction,inflammatory and pro-fibrotic events were *** silencing/knockout leads to Slug,but not Snail,*** support of Slug expression depends on its endoplasmic reticulum location,where it interacts with calreticulin,a calcium-buffering chaperone related to Slug *** CypB silencing reduces ionomycin-induced calcium release and Slug upregulation,we suggest that Slug expression may rely on CypB modulation of calreticulin-dependent calcium *** conclusion,this work uncovers new roles for CypA and CypB in modulating TEC plasticity and identifies CypB as a druggable target potentially relevant in promoting kidney repair.
