Goals: The study has been initiated in order to describe the epidemiological, clinical and etiological aspect of the ascites. Patients and methods: This was a retrospective and descriptive study on the patients with an ascite and followed at the medicine department of Borgou departmental teaching hospital. Results: A total of 190 patients have presented an ascite or a hospital prevalence at 3.93%. A male predominance has been observed with a sex-ratio at 1.7. The average age was 39.7 ± 13.9 years. The reason for consultation is dominated by the increase of the abdominal volume (69.5%). The ascite fluid is macroscopically yellow citrine. The cirrhosis (28.5%) and the heart diseases (18.6%) were the most encountered causes of the ascites. Conclusion: The etiologies of ascites are various and dominated by the hepatic cirrhosis and the heart diseases.

利用加权平均偏最小二乘回归方法(WA-PLS)建立了南黄海西北近岸71个表层沉积物样品中的底栖有孔虫组合与夏季底层水盐度(Ss)、夏季底层水温度(Ts)以及冬季底层水温度(Tw)之间的数值转换函数.将3个函数应用于南黄海近岸SY01孔,重建了这一海区3.9 *** BP以来的Ss,Ts以及Tw变化曲线.横向对比结果表明,SY01孔3.9 *** BP以来的Ss和Ts曲线与九仙洞石笋的?18O记录变动基本同步,可以作为东亚夏季风强度变动的可靠指标;而Tw变动曲线与南黄海ZY-2孔的东亚冬季风强度指标也有着良好的对应关系,可以作为冬季风强度变化指标.此次研究结果证实了底栖有孔虫的转换函数是一项具有较大潜在价值的古环境、古气候定量重建工具.

目的本研究的目的是对医科达PrecisePLAN 2.50计划系统评估版蒙特卡罗(XVmC)算法的拟合和验证。材料和方法PrecisePLAN 2.50计划系统评估版安装于HP Xw6200工作站,包括快速蒙特卡罗(XVmC)算法程序。6mV的医科达Synergy加速器的各项治疗头的虚拟参数(VEf parameters)由一系列在三维水箱的测量数据拟合得到。用EDR2胶片测量所得的数据对3x3cm以下小野相关参数进行验证和进一步调整。另外,两例调强计划(乳腺癌,前列腺癌各一)和一例非调强肺癌计划应用蒙特卡罗(XVmC)算法后,分别用均质和非均质体模(CIRS)进行验证。同时用胶片(EDR2)和电离室分别测量两维和选定点的绝对剂量。

In this study, the effects of doping by 3d （V, mn, fe, Ni） and 4f （Nd, Sm, Er） ions on dielectric and infrared properties of SrTiO3 （STO） single crystals are investigated. It is well known that doping of the SrTiO3 can change the dielectric properties of the STO from an insulator to an n-type semiconductor, and even to a metallic conductor. Dielectric and infrared （IR） properties of the undoped STO and doped STO single crystals are analyzed using dielectric spectroscopy （80 kHz-5 mHz）, transmission （200 cm^-1-4000 cm^-1）, and reflection spectroscopy （50 cm^-1-2000 cm^-1）. It is found that doping by the 3d ions reduces the value of dielectric permittivity, but the trend of temperature dependence of the dielectric permittivity remains almost unchanged. On the other hand, dielectric spectroscopy measurements for samples doped by 4f ions show the anomalous behaviors of the dielectric permittivity at temperatures around the temperature of the structural phase transition. There are two fractures of temperature dependences of inverse dielectric permittivity εr^-1 （T）. Transmittance spectroscopy measurements show that there are differences in the shape of the spectrum in the mid-IR region between the undoped STO and the one doped by 4f ions. The differences in the reflectance spectrum between the STO：Nd and STO are analyzed in detail.

Background and Purpose -Using 930 individuals connected in a single pedigree from an isolated population, participants of the Erasmus Rucphen family (ERf) study, we investigated the heritability of carotid-femoral pulse wave velocity (PWV), carotid intima media thickness (ImT), and carotid plaque score. methods -PWV was measured between the carotid and femoral arteries as an indicator of aortic stiffness. Common carotid ImT and plaque score, quantifying alterations in arterial wall structure, were measured by ultrasonography. Results -All 3 traits were significantly associated with classic cardiovascular risk factors. Age-and gender-adjusted heritability estimates were 0.36 for PWV, 0.41 for carotid ImT, and 0.28 for plaque score. After adjustment for appropriate risk factors, the heritabilities were 0.26, 0.35, and 0.21 for PWV, ImT, and plaque score, respectively. All heritability estimates were statistically significant (P fferent proportions of variance associated with covariates for each trait, genetic factors explained ≈12%of the total variability for each of the pheno types. Conclusions -To our knowledge, this is the first report on the heritabi lity of PWV. The heritability estimates of ImT and plaque score were similar to those in previous reports. We conclude that genetic factors significantly contri bute to arterial structure and function in this isolated population, presenting the opportunity to locate susceptibility genes related to cardiovascular disorde rs.

COVID-19 is the common name of the disease caused by the novel coronavirus(2019-nCoV)that appeared in Wuhan,China in *** the infected people is the most important factor in the fight against the *** gold-standard test to diagnose COVID-19 is polymerase chain reaction(PCR),but it takes 5–6 h and,in the early stages of infection,may produce false-negative *** Computed Tomography(CT)images to diagnose patients infected with COVID-19 has become an urgent *** this study,we propose a residual attention deep support vector data description SVDD(RADSVDD)approach to diagnose *** is a novel approach combining residual attention with deep support vector data description(DSVDD)to classify the CT *** the best of our knowledge,we are the first to combine residual attention with DSVDD in general,and specifically in the diagnosis of *** attention with DSVDD naively may cause model *** in the proposed RADSVDD guides the network during training and enables quick learning,residual connectivity prevents vanishing *** approach consists of three models,each model is devoted to recognizing one certain disease and classifying other diseases as *** models learn in an end-to-end *** proposed approach attained high performance in classifying CT images into intact,COVID-19,and non-COVID-19 *** evaluate the proposed approach,we created a dataset from published datasets and had it assessed by an experienced *** proposed approach achieved high performance,with the normal model attained sensitivity(0.96–0.98),specificity(0.97–0.99),f1-score(0.97–0.98),and area under the receiver operator curve(AUC)0.99;the COVID-19 model attained sensitivity(0.97–0.98),specificity(0.97–0.99),f1-score(0.97–0.99),and AUC 0.99;and the non-COVID pneumoniamodel attained sensitivity(0.97–1),specificity(0.98–0.99),f1-score(0.97–0.99),and AUC 0.99.

In this work we present a numerical simulation of REELS-spectrum.f.r noblemetals, Au and Ag. The calculation is based on an electron-surface inelastic scattering modelpreviously developed. The differential inelastic cross section is obtained from an inhomogeneouselectron self-energy in the surface region, which provides full information of the dependency of thetotal and differential cross section on the kinetic energy, the distance from the surface and themoving direction of electrons, accommodating the formulation to the practical situation in surfaceelectron spectroscopes. A novel monte Carlo simulation code of electron interaction with a surfaceincorporating the local scattering mean free path has been developed. The comparison of thesimulated REELS-spectra with the experimental measurements shows a remarkable agreement on thespectrum shape, which then confirms that the present model for electron-surface inelastic scatteringis quite reasonable. The simulation has further shown the component to surface excitation due tothe individual scattering processes along trajectory part, i.e., the loss in vacuum beforereflection, the loss in vacuum after reflection and loss in metal events.
