Gold minerogenetic Prognosis Using Satellite Data:Case Study of Paishanlou Gold mine, Liaoning Province, China

The major scientific goal of using satellite data for mineral prospecting in the study area was two-fold：（a） mapping geology, faults and fractures that localize ore deposits; （b） recognizing hydrothermally altered rocks by interpreting their spectral signatures. The lithology, properties, and geological relations of the rocks were key to understanding such varied phenomena as convection, melting and transport mechanisms, rock deformation and alteration, the sources of magnetic anomalies, and the hydrothermal circulation and formation of gold deposits. Satellite data were enhanced using the following techniques： band combinations, ratios, directional sharpening filtering, Laplacian transform, spatial convolution, and density slicing. By mapping a larger area, the Paishanlou Gold mine was discovered to be located within an accommodation zone, with three significant populations of faults having bearings of 95, 145, and 180 degrees. Faults bearing 145 degrees make up the faults of the main shear zone. The faults bearing 180 degrees have large sinistral offsets, typically 1.5 km, and form a synthetic-antithetic set with the faults bearing 145 degrees, which have dextral displacements of tens of meters. In the Landsat ETm＋ image composed of bands 7-4-2 RGB, gneiss rocks were clearly seen as red purple, and granitic and plagioclase bodies in pale brown/pink. The strongest alteration signature in the image was found along the detachment fault antiform located closest to the mine and the plutons responsible for the Paishanlou gold mineralization. Satellite image interpretation coupled with field surveys led to the identification of iron mineral composites, hydrothermally altered areas, fractures, and an accommodation zone. These anomalies finally resulted in the discovery of three new gold-mineralized sites.

A histological ground-section from a duck-billed dinosaur nestling(Hypacrosaurus stebingeri) revealed microstructures morphologically consistent with nuclei and chromosomes in cells within calcified *** hypothesized that this exceptional cellular preservation extended to the molecular level and had molecular features in common with extant avian cartilage. Histochemical and immunological evidence supports in situ preservation of extracellular matrix components found in extant cartilage, including glycosaminoglycans and collagen type II. Furthermore, isolated Hypacrosaurus chondrocytes react positively with two DNA intercalating stains. Specific DNA staining is only observed inside the isolated cells, suggesting endogenous nuclear material survived fossilization. Our data support the hypothesis that calcified cartilage is preserved at the molecular level in this mesozoic material, and suggest that remnants of once-living chondrocytes, including their DNA, may preserve for millions of years.

The main purpose of the present paper is to explore hypersurface homogenous space time in Brans Dicke theory of gravitation in terms of the dark energy source. To obtain solution of the field equation, we have taken into account the relation between φ and the average scale factor a. The volumetric expansions are considered to get deterministic solutions. Physical properties of the models are also discussed in detail.

AIm： To investigate ASCA production over time in CD and murine colitis in order to further our understanding of their etiology. mATERIALS AND mETHODS： Sixty-six CD patients were compared to ulcerative colitis （UC） and irritable bowel syndrome patients with respect to ASCA production as measured by ELISA. ASCA IgG or IgA positivity as well as change in titers over a period of up to 3 years （△tgG/A） was correlated with clinical parameters such as CD activity index （CDm） and C-reactive protein levels （CRP）. moreover, two murine models of colitis （DSS and IL-10 knock out） were compared to control animals with respect to ASCA titers after oral yeast exposure. RESULTS： ASCA IgG and IgA titers are stable over time in CD and non-CD patients. Fistular disease was associated with a higher rate of ASCA IgA positivity （P = 0.014）. Ileal disease was found to have a significant influence on the △tgG of ASCA （P = 0.032）. There was no correlation found between ASCA positivity or △tgG/A and clinical parameters of CD： CDAI and CRP. In mice, neither healthy animals nor animals with DSS-induced or spontaneous colitis exhibited a marked increase in ASCA titers after high-dose yeast exposure. On the other hand, mice immunized intraperitoneally with mannan plus adjuvant showed a marked and significant increase in ASCA titers compared to adjuvant-only immunized controls （P = 0.014）. CONCLUSION： The propensity to produce ASCA in a subgroup of CD patients is largely genetically predetermined as evidenced by their stability and lack of correlation with clinical disease activity parameters. Furthermore, in animal models of colitis, mere oral exposure of mice to yeast does not lead to the induction of marked ASCA titers irrespective of concomitant colonic inflammation. Hence, environment may play only a minor role in inducing ASCA.

Rolling dynamic compaction (RDC),which employs non-circular module towed behind a tractor,is an innovative soil compaction method that has proven to be successful in many ground improvement *** involves repeatedly delivering high-energy impact blows onto the ground surface,which improves soil density and thus soil strength and ***,there exists a lack of methods to predict the effectiveness of RDC in different ground conditions,which has become a major obstacle to its *** this,in this context,a prediction model is developed based on linear genetic programming (LGP),which is one of the common approaches in application of artificial intelligence for nonlinear *** model is based on in situ density-related data in terms of dynamic cone penetrometer (DCP) results obtained from several projects that have employed the 4-sided,8-t impact roller (BH-1300).It is shown that the model is accurate and reliable over a range of soil ***,a series of parametric studies confirms its robustness in generalizing *** addition,the results of the comparative study indicate that the optimal LGP model has a better predictive performance than the existing artificial neural network (ANN) model developed earlier by the authors.

Pure *** sNbO3(KNN)and KNN doped with Lit(6%mole),Lat(1.66%,5%,6%mole),and Ti+t(10%mole)were prepared by mixture of oxides using high-energy milling and conventional solid-state *** effects of the dopant on the physical properties of pure KNN have been evaluated based on the structural,ferroelectric,pyroelectric,and dielectric *** XRD measurements show that KNN pure sample contains a mixture of monoclinic and orthorhombic crystalline phases,with a slightly higher concentration of monoclinic *** contrast,all doped samples show a higher concentration of the orthorhombic phase,as well as the presence of a secondary phase(K6Nb10.8O3o),also detected by Raman *** samples with a higher concentration of this secondary phase,also present greater dielectric losses and lower values of remnant *** dielectric measurements allowed us to detect temperatures of structural transitions(orthorhombic-tetragonal,O-T)previous to the ferroelectric paraelectric transition(tetragonal-cubic,T-C),and also in this set of samples,a direct correlation was found between the values of remnant polarization and the corresponding pyroelectric signal response.

The last decade shows an explosion of using social media,which raises several challenges related to the security of personal files including *** challenges include modifying,illegal copying,identity fraud,copyright protection and ownership of *** digital watermarking techniques embed digital information inside another digital information without affecting the visual quality for security *** this paper,we propose a hybrid digital watermarking and image processing approach to improve the image security ***,variants of the widely used Least-Significant Bit(LSB)watermarking technique are merged with a blob detection algorithm to embed information into the boundary pixels of the largest blob of a digital *** proposed algorithms are tested using several experiments and techniques,which are followed by uploading the watermarked images into a social media site to evaluate the probability of extracting the embedding *** results show that the proposed approaches outperform the traditional LSB algorithm in terms of time,evaluation criteria and the percentage of pixels that have changed.

Based on the stochastic inclined rods model proposed by H. matsuura et al., we study the motion of actin myosin system in an overdamped regime. Our model is composed ofan inclined spring (rod), a myosin head and a myosin filament. The results of calculation show that the modelcan convert the random motion to one-directional motion, and the myosin head works as a resonator of random noise, which absorbs the energy through a stochastic resonance. The results show that the inclined rod and the intermolecular potential are very important for the system to move.

Rolling dynamic compaction(RDC),which involves the towing of a noncircular module,is now widespread and accepted among many other soil compaction ***,to date,there is no accurate method for reliable prediction of the densification of soil and the extent of ground improvement by means of *** study presents the application of artificial neural networks(ANNs) for a priori prediction of the effectiveness of *** models are trained with in situ dynamic cone penetration(DCP) test data obtained from previous civil projects associated with the 4-sided impact *** predictions from the ANN models are in good agreement with the measured field data,as indicated by the model correlation coefficient of approximately *** is concluded that the ANN models developed in this study can be successfully employed to provide more accurate prediction of the performance of the RDC on a range of soil types.
