The detection of rice leaf disease is significant because,as an agricultural and rice exporter country,Pakistan needs to advance in production and lower the risk of *** this rapid globalization era,information technology has increased.A sensing system is mandatory to detect rice diseases using Artificial Intelligence(AI).It is being adopted in all medical and plant sciences fields to access and measure the accuracy of results and detection while lowering the risk of *** Neural Network(DNN)is a novel technique that will help detect disease present on a rice leave because DNN is also considered a state-of-the-art solution in image detection using sensing *** in this paper,the adoption of the mixed-method approach Deep Convolutional Neural Network(Deep CNN)has assisted the research in increasing the effectiveness of the proposed *** CNN is used for image recognition and is a class of deep-learning neural *** is popular and mostly used in the field of image recognition.A dataset of images with three main leaf diseases is selected for training and testing the proposed *** the image acquisition and preprocessing process,the Deep CNN model was trained to detect and classify three rice diseases(Brown spot,bacterial blight,and blast disease).The proposed model achieved 98.3%accuracy in comparison with similar state-of-the-art techniques.

Soil-Structure Interaction Analysis of Jack-up Platforms Subjected to monochrome and Irregular Waves

As jack-up platforms have recently been used in deeper and harsher waters, there has been an increasing demand to understand their behaviour more accurately to develop more sophisticated analysis techniques. One of the areas of significant development has been the modelling of spudean performance, where the load-displacement behaviour of the foundation is required to be included in any numerical model of the structure. In this study, beam on nonlinear winkler foundation （BNWF） modeling--which is based on using nonlinear springs and dampers instead of a continuum soil media--is employed for this purpose. A regular monochrome design wave and an irregular wave representing a design sea state are applied to the platform as lateral loading. By using the BNWF model and assuming a granular soil under spudcans, properties such as soil nonlinear behaviour near the structure, contact phenomena at the interface of soil and spudcan （such as uplifting and rocking）, and geometrical nonlinear behaviour of the structure are studied. Results of this study show that inelastic behaviour of the soil causes an increase in the lateral displacement at the hull elevation and permanent unequal settlement in soil below the spudcans, which are increased by decreasing the friction angle of the sandy soil. In fact, spudeans and the underlying soil cause a relative fixity at the platform support, which changes the dynamic response of the structure compared with the case where the structure is assumed to have a fixed support or pinned support. For simulating this behaviour without explicit modelling of soil-structure interaction （SSI）, moment- rotation curves at the end of platform legs, which are dependent on foundation dimensions and soil characteristics, are obtained. These curves can be used in a simplified model of the platform for considering the relative fixity at the soil- foundation interface.

Performance and characterization of iron-nickel catalysts for light olefin production

A series of x （Fe,Ni）/Al2O3 catalysts （x = 2-12 wt%） were prepared using incipient wetness method and studied for the conversion of synthesis gas to light olefins.6 wt%（Fe,Ni）/Al2O3 catalyst was found to be the optimal catalyst for the production of C2-C4 *** effects of calcination behaviors and operational conditions on the catalytic performance of the optimal catalyst were *** best operational conditions were molar feed ratio H2/CO = 2/1,T = 260 ℃,gas hourly space velocity （GHSV） = 2600 h^-1 and the pressure of 3 ***-izations of both precursors and catalysts were carried out using X-ray diffraction （XRD）,temperature-programmed reduction （TPR）,scanning electron microscopy （SEm）,N2-adsorption-desorption measurement,thermal gravimetric analysis （TGA） and differential scanning calorimetry （DSC）.

Fractional order nonlinear evolution equations have emerged in recent times as being very important model for depicting the interior behavior of nonlinear phenomena that exist in the real *** particular,Schrodinger-type fractional nonlinear evolution equations constitute an aspect of the field of quantum *** this study,the(2+1)-dimensional time-fractional nonlinear Schrodinger equation and(1+1)-dimensional time-space fractional nonlinear Schrodinger equation are revealed as having different and novel wave *** is shown by constructing appropriate analytic wave solutions.A success-ful implementation of the advised rational(1/φ'(ξ))-expansion method generates new outcomes of the considered equations,by comparing them with those already noted in the *** the basis of the conformable fractional derivative,a composite wave variable conversion has been used to adapt the suggested equations into the differential equations with a single independent variable before applying the ***,the well-furnished outcomes are plotted in different 3D and 2D profiles for the purpose of illustrating various physical characteristics of wave *** employed technique is competent,productive and concise enough,making it feasible for future studies.

Electromagnetic Coupling of Negative Parity Nucleon Resonances N(1535) Based on Nonrelativistic Constituent Quark model

The electromagnetic transition between the nucleon and excited baryons has long been recognized as an important source of information for understanding strong interactions in the domain of quark confinement. We study the electromagnetic properties of the excitation of the negative parity the N~*(1535) resonances in the nonrelativistic constituent quark model at large momentum transfers and have performed a calculation the longitudinal and transverse helicity amplitudes. Since the helicity amplitudes depend strongly on the quark wave function in this paper, we consider the baryon as a simple, non-relativistically three-body quark model and also consider a hypercentral potential scheme for the internal baryon structure, which makes three-body forces among three quarks. Since the hyper central potential depends only on the hyper radius, therefore, the Cornell potential which is a combination of the Coulombic-like term plus a linear confining term is considered as the potential for interaction between quarks. In our work, in solving the Schrodinger equation with the Cornell potential, the Nikiforov–Uvarov method employed, and the analytic eigen-energies and eigen-functions obtained. By using the obtained eigen-functions, the transition amplitudes calculated. We show that our results in the range Q^2> 2GeV^2 lead to an overall better agreement with the experimental data in comparison with the other three non-relativistic quark models.

Reserve estimation of central part of Choghart north anomaly iron ore deposit through ordinary kriging method

This paper is devoted to application of ordinary kriging method in Choghart north anomaly iron ore deposit in Yazd province,*** order to estimate the deposit,2329 input data gained from 26 boreholes were *** grade was selected as the major regional variable on which the present research has *** of the available data were changed to 12.5 m composites so that statistical regularization could be *** indicated that iron grade input data had single-population *** carry out ordinary kriging,a spherical model was fitted over empirical *** the model was verified through cross validation method and proved to be valid with a coherence coefficient of 0.773 between the estimated and real *** the empirical variogram in different directions showed no geometric anisotropy for the *** estimate the Iron grade,ordinary kriging method was used according to which,all of the exploitable blocks with dimensions 20 m 20 m 12.5 m were block estimated within the estimation *** tonnage-grade curve has been drawn and reserve classified into measured,indicated and inferred.

CFD simulation of gas-solid flow patterns in a downscaled combustor-style FCC regenerator

To investigate the gas-solid flow pattern of a combustor-style fluid catalytic cracking regenerator, a laboratory-scale regenerator was designed. In scaling down from an actual regenerator, large-diameter hydrodynamic effects were taken into consideration. These considerations are the novelties of the present study. Applying the Eulerian-Eulerian approach, a three-dimensional computational fluid dynamics （CFD） model of the regenerator was developed. Using this model, various aspects of the hydrodynamic behavior that are potentially effective in catalyst regeneration were investigated. The CFD simulation results show that at various sections the gas-solid flow patterns exhibit different behavior because of the asymmetric location of the catalyst inlets and the lift outlets. The ratio of the recirculated catalyst to spent catalyst determines the quality of the spent and recirculated catalyst mixing and distribution because the location and quality of vortices change in the lower part of the combustor. The simulation results show that recirculated catalyst considerably reduces the air bypass that disperses the catalyst particles widely over the cross section. Decreasing the velocity of superficial air produces a complex flow pattern whereas the variation in catalyst mass flux does not alter the flow pattern significantly as the flow is dilute.

Experimental evaluation and modeling of liquid jet penetration to estimate droplet size in a three-phase riser reactor

In this work,the effects of injecting an evaporating liquid jet into solid–gas flow are experimentally investigated.A new model(SHED model) and a supplementary model(spray model) have also been proposed to investigate some flow-field characteristics in three-phase fluidized bed with the mean relative error 4.3% between model and measured *** experiments were conducted to study the influences of flow-field parameters such as liquid volumetric flow rate,injection velocity,jet angle and gas superficial velocity as well as solid mass flux on the jet penetration depth(JPD).In addition,independent variables were experimentally employed to propose two empirical correlations for JPD by using multiple regression method and spray cone angle(SCA) by using dimensional analysis *** mean relative errors between the JPD and SCA correlations versus experimental data were 7.5% and 3.9%,*** addition,in order to identify the variable effect,a parametric study was carried *** the proposed model can avoid direct use of expensive devices to measure JPD and to predict droplet size.

Effect of fin attachment on thermal stress reduction of exhaust manifold of an off road diesel engine

The effect of fin attachment on the thermal stress reduction of exhaust manifold of an off road diesel engine(Komatsu HD325-6) was *** doing this,coupled thermo-fluid-solid analysis of exhaust manifold of the off road diesel engine was carried *** thermal analysis,including thermal flow,thermal stress,and the thermal deformation of the manifold was *** flow inside the manifold was simulated and then its properties including velocity,pressure,and temperature were *** flow properties were transferred to the solid model and then the thermal stresses and the thermal deformations of the manifold under different operating conditions were ***,based on the predicted thermal stresses and thermal deformations of the manifold body shell,two fin types as well as body shell thickness increase were applied in the critical induced thermal stress area of the manifold to reduce the thermal stress and thermal *** results of the above modifications show that the combined modifications,*** thickness increase and the fin attachment,decrease the thermal stresses by up to 28% and the contribution of the fin attachment in this reduction is much higher compared to the shell thickness increase.
