Efficient Technique for Image Cryptography Using Sudoku Keys

This paper proposes a cryptographic technique on images based on the Sudoku *** is a number puzzle,which needs applying defined protocols and filling the empty boxes with *** a small size of numbers as input,solving the sudoku puzzle yields an expanded big size of numbers,which can be used as a key for the Encryption/Decryption of *** this way,the given small size of numbers can be stored as the prime key,which means the key is compact.A prime key clue in the sudoku puzzle always leads to only one solution,which means the key is always *** feature is the background for the paper,where the Sudoku puzzle output can be innovatively introduced in image *** solution is expanded to any size image using a sequence of expansion techniques that involve filling of the number matrix,Linear X-Y rotational shifting,and reverse shifting based on a standard zig-zag *** crypto key for an image dictates the details of positions,where the image pixels have to be *** is made at two levels,namely pixel and sub-pixel(RGB)levels for an image,with the latter having more effective *** brought-out technique falls under the Image scrambling method with partial *** metrics are impressive and are given by a Histogram deviation of 0.997,a Correlation coefficient of 10−2 and an NpCR of 99.98%.Hence,it is evident that the image cryptography with the sudoku kept in place is more efficient against plaintext and Differential attacks.

A Study of Serum magnesium Level in Type 2 Diabetes mellitus patients

Background: Type 2 Diabetes mellitus (Dm) is characterized by insulin resistance in peripheral tissues together with impaired secretion of insulin. Dm is the most common metabolic disorder with magnesium deficiency, having 25% to 39% prevalence. Osmotic diuresis accounts for a portion of the magnesium loss. plasma magnesium and intracellular magnesium concentrations are tightly regulated by several factors. Insulin is the most important factor. Insulin may modulate the shift of magnesium from extracellular to intracellular space. In the present study we try to estimate serum magnesium in type 2 Dm and also to find the association with duration of T2Dm. materials and methods: The study will be conducted in Thanjavur medical College, Thanjavur. 25 diabetes patients and 25 healthy volunteers were included in the present study. Age group of the study subjects were between 35 and 67 years. Approximately 3 ml of fasting serum samples and 1 ml of whole blood samples will be collected in Clinical Chemistry laboratory for the estimation of fasting glucose (GOD-pOD method), 2-hour post glucose levels and HbA1c (HpLC method), Lipids profile was estimated by IFCC approved clinical chemistry analyzer (fully automated). Results: There was statistically significant difference in BmI, fasting blood sugar (FBS), post prandial Blood Sugar (ppBS), lipid profile and mg (in Dm groups). HbA1c (p Conclusion: Hypomagnesemia is seen in type 2 Dm and inverse correlation with duration of the diabetes also. Supplementation of magnesium can prevent chronic complications related to diabetes mellitus.

Approximate computing is a popularﬁeld for low power consumption that is used in several applications like image processing,video processing,multi-media and data *** Approximate computing is majorly performed with an arithmetic circuit particular with a *** multiplier is the most essen-tial element used for approximate computing where the power consumption is majorly based on its *** are several researchers are worked on the approximate multiplier for power reduction for a few decades,but the design of low power approximate multiplier is not so *** seems a bigger challenge for digital industries to design an approximate multiplier with low power and minimum error rate with higher *** overcome these issues,the digital circuits are applied to the Deep Learning(DL)approaches for higher *** recent times,DL is the method that is used for higher learning and prediction accuracy in severalﬁ***,the Long Short-Term memory(LSTm)is a popular time series DL method is used in this work for approximate *** provide an optimal solution,the LSTm is combined with a meta-heuristics Jel-lyﬁsh search optimisation technique to design an input aware deep learning-based approximate multiplier(DLAm).In this work,the jelly optimised LSTm model is used to enhance the error metrics performance of the Approximate *** optimal hyperparameters of the LSTm model are identiﬁed by jelly search ***ﬁne-tuning is used to obtain an optimal solution to perform an LSTm with higher *** proposed pre-trained LSTm model is used to generate approximate design libraries for the different truncation levels as a func-tion of area,delay,power and error *** experimental results on an 8-bit multiplier with an image processing application shows that the proposed approx-imate computing multiplier achieved a superior area and power reduction with very good results on error rates.
