The copolymerization of styrene (St) and acrylonitrile (AN) complexed with CuCl_2 monomer by a free radicalmechanism was performed using benzoyl peroxide as an initiator at 65℃ under N_2 atmosphere for 150 min. The rate ofpolymerization (R_p) was found to increase linearly with the concentration (in mol/L) of CuCl_2, AN and St through scalingrelations. The activation energy of the copolymerization process in the presence and absence of CuCl_2 was found to be46.5 kJ/mol and 102 kJ/mol, respectively. The viscosity average molecular weigh of the copolymer and the k_p^2/k_t ratio weredctermired to further assess the accelerating effect of CuCl_2 on the copolymerization process. The copolymerization processin the presence of CuCl_2 has a radical complex mechanism.

Physiological markers and Reflex Pattern Progression in Individuals with Neurodevelopmental Deficits Utilizing the mNRI method

The physiological markers of 310 individuals aged 2 through 19 were evaluated for the effects of the masgutova Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration method on their four body systems: respiratory, cardiovascular, digestive, and nervous systems of individuals with neurodevelopmental deficits—cerebral palsy (CP), seizures, traumatic and acute brain injury, attention deficit and hyperactive disorders (ADD, ADHD), autism spectrum disorders, anxiety, post-trauma and post-traumatic stress disorders. We found that 53.33% of physiological markers and 66.67% of reflex patterns on the pre-test demonstrated to be poorly functioning. Both evaluation results showed statistically significant improvements after 8-days of intensive training using the masgutova Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration method. Improvements according to 60.0% of the physiological markers positively correlated with functionality gains in 77.5% of reflex patterns in all four study groups compared to the control group, which did not receive the Reflex Integration training program (p-value magnitude of improvement depended upon the severity of symptoms indicating the essentiality for individualized training in accordance with the diagnosis and individual neurological deficits. Results of this study show that reflex integrative techniques can lead to a reduction of stress and other negative factors blocking health homeostasis, limiting perception, and causing dysregulation in behavior and emotions, especially following traumatic events. Positive changes in physiological markers and reflex pattern functions indicate potential benefits for survival and stress resiliency through supporting neuro-physiological and neuro-psychological aspects of overall health and well-being in individuals with neurological deficits.

Nutrient Evaluation of Dining Center Food Waste and Comparison to monogastric and Ruminant Feedstuffs

The objective of this study was to analyze the nutrient composition and variability of university dining hall food waste and compare it with common feedstuffs used in ruminant and monogastric diets. Food waste was categorized into two initial streams: mainstream (mS) from the serving line and vegetable preparation (VP) from the kitchen. Waste was collected from the Kramer Dining Center, Kansas State University, resulting in 30 daily samples. Waste was weighed and ground to homogenous particle size. Daily samples of mS and VP were analyzed for nutrient composition, where results were combined to calculate the nutrient profile of a hypothetical mixed food waste stream (mX) composited by total weight. Data were analyzed using R statistical software (v 4.2.2). moisture and neutral detergent fiber (NDF) were greater in VP (P , while ether extract (EE) was less compared to mS and mX. Crude protein (CP) was greater (P mS and mX streams compared to VP. The total digestible nutrients (TDN) and energy were greater in mS food waste than in mX, which was also greater than VP (P content, measured by standard deviation, was similar (P > 0.05) among streams for NDF, nitrogen-corrected neutral detergent fiber, acid detergent insoluble crude protein, CP, ash, lignin, and digestible and metabolizable energy. Dry matter and EE variation were greater (P mS, whereas VP was less (P mpared to mX. Standard deviation increased (P mS and mX for neutral detergent insoluble crude protein, TDN, and gross energy when compared to VP. Despite having 70% - 80% moisture, dining hall food waste does have nutritive value and the potential to be included in ruminant and monogastric diets. Further research needs to be done to understand the value of including it in animal diets.

The vertical stability of a magnetic tip over a superconducting material is investigated by using the critical state and the frozen image models. The analytical expressions of the stiffness and the vibration frequency about the equilibrium position are derived in term of the geometrical parameters of the magnet/superconductor system. It is found that the stability of the system depends on the shape of the superconductor as well as its thickness.

In this paper, a corrector-predictor interior-point algorithm is proposed for sym- metric optimization. The algorithm approximates the central path by an ellipse, follows the ellipsoidal approximation of the central-path step by step and generates a sequence of iter- ates in a wide neighborhood of the central-path. Using the machinery of Euclidean jordan algebra and the commutative class of search directions, the convergence analysis of the algo- rithm is shown and it is proved that the algorithm has the complexity bound O （√τL） for the well-known Nesterov-Todd search direction and O （τL） for the xs and sx search directions.

In this study, the magnetohydrodynamics （mHD） natural convection heat transfer with Joule and viscous heating effects inside an iso-flux porous medium-filled inclined rectangular enclosure is studied numerically. An iso-heat flux is applied for heating and cooling the two opposing walls of the enclosure while the other walls are adiabatic. The Forchheimer extension of Darcy-Oberbeck-Boussinesq and energy equations is transformed into a dimensionless form using a set of suitable variables instead of a finite difference scheme. The governing parameters are the magnetic influence number, the modified Rayleigh number, the inclination angle, and the aspect ratio of the enclosure. The results show that viscous and Joule heating effects decrease heat transfer rates.

Alcohol use disorder （AUD）, mild traumatic brain injury （mTBI）, and posttraumatic stress disorder （PTSD） commonly co-occur （AUD ＋ mTBI ＋ PTSD）. These conditions have overlapping symptoms which are, in part, reflective of overlapping neuropathology. These conditions become problematic because their co-occurrence can exacerbate symptoms. Therefore, treatments must be developed that are inclusive to all three conditions. Repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation （rTmS） is non-invasive and may be an ideal treatment for co-occurring AUD ＋ mTBI ＋ PTSD. There is accumulating evidence on rTmS as a treatment for people with AUD, mTBI, and PTSD each alone. However, there are no published studies to date on rTmS as a treatment for co-occurring AUD ＋ mTBI ＋ PTSD. This review article advances the knowledge base for rTmS as a treatment for AUD ＋ mTBI ＋ PTSD. This review provides background information about these co-occurring conditions as well as rTmS. The existing literature on rTmS as a treatment for people with AUD, TBI, and PTSD each alone is reviewed. Finally, neurobiological findings in support of a theoretical model are discussed to inform TmS as a treatment for co-occurring AUD ＋ mTBI ＋ PTSD. The peer-reviewed literature was identified by targeted literature searches using Pubmed and supplemented by cross-referencing the bibliographies of relevant review articles. The existing evidence on rTmS as a treatment for these conditions in isolation, coupled with the overlapping neuropathology and symptomology of these conditions, suggests that rTmS may be well suited for the treatment of these conditions together.

The Wireless Sensor Networks(WSNs)are characterized by their widespread deployment due to low cost,but the WSNs are vulnerable to various types of *** defend against the attacks,an effective security solution is ***,the limits of these networks’battery-based energy to the sensor are the most critical impediments to selecting cryptographic ***,finding a suitable algorithm that achieves the least energy consumption in data encryption and decryption and providing a highly protected system for data remains the fundamental *** this research,the main objective is to obtain data security during transmission by proposing a robust and low-power encryption algorithm,in addition,to examining security algorithms such as ECC and mD5 based on previous *** this research,the Energy Saving and Securing Data algorithm(ESSD)algorithm is introduced,which provides the message Digest 5(mD5)computation simplicity by modifying the Elliptic Curve Cryptography(ECC)under the primary condition of power *** three algorithms,ECC,mD5,and ESSD,are applied to Low Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy(LEACH)and Threshold-sensitive Energy Efficient Sensor Network Protocol(TEEN)hierarchical routing algorithms which are considered the most widely used in *** results of security methods under the LEACH protocol show that all nodes are dead at 456,496,and 496,respectively,to ECC,mD5,and *** results of security methods under the TEEN protocol show that the test ends at 3743,4815,and 4889,respectively,to ECC,mD5,and *** on these results,the ESSD outperforms better in terms of increased security and less power *** addition,it is advantageous when applied to TEEN protocol.
