Hybrid nanofluids are remarkable functioning liquids that are intended to reduce the energy loss while maximizing the heat *** the involvement of suction and nonlinear thermal radiation effects,this study attempted to explore the energy transmission features of the inclined magnetohydrodynamic(mHD)stagnation flow of CNTs-hybrid nanofluid across the nonlinear permeable stretching or shrinking *** work also included some noteworthy features like chemical reactions,variable molecular diffusivity,quadratic convection,viscous dissipation,velocity slip and heat omission *** appropriate similarity components,the model equations were modified to ODEs and computed by using the HAm *** impact of various relevant flow characteristics on movement,heat and concentration profiles was investigated and plotted on a *** various model factors,the significance of drag friction,heat and mass transfer rate were also computed in tabular and graphical *** leads to the conclusion that such factors have a considerable impact on the dynamics of fluid as well as other engineering measurements of ***,viscous forces are dominated by increasing the values ofλ_(p),δ_(m)andδ_(q),and as a result,F(ξ)accelerates while the opposite trend is observed for m andφ.The drag friction is boosted by the augmentation m,λ_(p)andφ,but the rate of heat transfer *** to our findings,hybrid nanoliquid effects dominate that of ordinary nanofluid in terms of F(ξ),Θ(ξ)andφ(ξ)*** HAm and the numerical technique(shooting method)were found to be in good agreement.

Dear Editor,Cucumber(Cucumis sativus)is a key vegetable crop and an essential model for genetics and genomics research in Cucurbitaceae,especially in studies on plant sex determination and vascular *** the first sequenced genome among vegetable crops,the cucumber reference genome has been a crucial genetic resource for comparative genomics and genetic ***,the latest version of the cucumber *** Long reference genome(CLv3.0),generated using PacBio long-reads data,is *** a predicted genome size of 350-367 mb,CLv3.0 encompasses only 226.2 mb,leaving 72 gaps and over 120 mb of unknown *** low assembly completeness(approximately 62%)is primarily due to the high proportion(~30%)of heterochromatic satellite and rDNA sequences in cucumber,substantially higher than that observed in many other species such as Arabidopsis,rice,maize,and watermelon,where it is less than 5%(Han et al.,2008;Huang et al.,2009;Li et al.,2019).

Bi2Te3-based materials have drawn much attention from the thermoelectric community due to their excellent thermoelectric performance near room ***,the stability of existing n-type Bi2（Te,Se）3materials is still low due to the evaporation energy of Se (37.70 kJ mol-1) being much lower than that of Te (52.55 kJ mol-1).The evaporated Se from the material causes problems in interconnects of the module while degrading the efficiency.

Covering the more Visible Region by Electrochemical Copolymerization of Carbazole and Benzothiadiazole Based Donor-Acceptor Type monomers

An electrochromic copolymer film of 2-(3,3-dihexyl-3,4-dihydro-2 H-thieno[3,4-b][1,4]dioxepin-6-yl)-7-(3,3-dihexyl-3,4-dihydro-2 H-thieno[3,4-b][1,4]dioxepin-8-yl)-9 H-carbazole(m1) and 4,7-bis(thiophen-2-yl)benzo[c][1,2,5]thiadiazole(m2) was prepared via electrochemical technique. The copolymerization was performed with one to one monomer feed ratio. Electrochemical and optical properties of the resulting copolymer film(P3) and the homopolymer films of m1 and m2(P1 and P2) were investigated by using cyclic voltammetry and UV-Vis spectrometry techniques, and the corresponding results were compared. Incorporation of m1 and m2 into copolymer matrix was clearly observed on the resulting cyclic voltammograms and UV-Vis spectra. P3 covered the visible regions coming from both P1 and P2, and exhibited a neutral state darker color than those of homopolymers. P3 film was found to have a multichromic behavior, appearing as brown in its neutral state while changing its color upon oxidation to dark-gray(at about 0.3 V), to blue(at about 0.6 V) and finally to grayish cyan(beyond 0.9 V), with a corresponding optical band gap of 1.65 eV.

marangoni liquid film scattering over an extending cylinder

The impact of the marangoni convection over the thin film flow on an expanding cylinder has been examined in this study. The diverse effect of the embedded constraints has been detected during the liquid film flow. It has been examined that the behavior of the physical parameters altered after the small intervals and diverse from the traditional approach. The similarity variables have been utilized to alter the basic flow equations into the nonlinear ordinary differential equations. The result of the transformed equations is computed by BVPh 2.0 package. The performance of different constraints, for flow motion and temperature distributions are plotted and conferred. It has been observed that under the marangoni convection the impact of the physical parameters varies after the point of inflection and the diverse impact of the embedding constraints provide space for the variation of the point of inflection for the desired spray analysis.

Application of 0D model of blood flow to study vessel abnormalities in the human systemic circulation: An in-silico study

In this paper, a multi-compartment 0D model of the blood flow is considered to study the vessel abnormalities (stenoses and aneurysms) in the human systemic circulation (SC). In the complete SC, different levels of stenosis and aneurysms are artificially created by decreasing and increasing the vessel diameters respectively and their effects on pressure and flow are studied using sensitivity analysis (SA). Normalized local sensitivity analysis (LSA) is used to study the impact of stenosis and aneurysms on pressure and flow wave pattern. Furthermore, global sensitivity analysis (GSA), Sobol's method is used to quantify the overall influence of stenoses and aneurysms in the complete SC. The results of global sensitivity analysis revealed that the impact of both stenoses and aneurysms is strong within the individual structures (arm. legs, carotid bifurcation, aorta), while, aortic stenoses and aneurysms have effect on almost all downstream nodes. moreover, the study could be useful for medical doctors, teachers and students to observe the hemodynamical changes in the SC with respect to vessel abnormalities, which could further help in making any clinical decision for patients having different levels of vessel abnormalities in any part or structure of the SC.

Infield superconducting properties of nano-sized Ag added Cu0.5Tl0.5Ba2Ca2Cu3O10-δ

Infield superconducting properties of {(Ag)/CUTl-1223};(x = 0, 0.5,1.***.2.0 and 4.0 wt %) nanoparticlessuperconductor composites were investigated under different applied magnetic field up to H = 8 T. The increase in critical temperature {T(0)} and decrease in normal state resistivity(p) were observed with increasing contents of Ag nanoparticles in CuTl-1223 superconducting matrix. The value of T(K) remained almost unaffected by applying external magnetic field, but a decreasing trend in T(0) was observed by increasing the value of external applied magnetic field. The transition region below T(K) showed Arrhenius behavior due to thermally activated flow of magnetic vortices. Enhancement in flux flow activation energy(U) and suppression in transition width(ΔT) of CuTl-1223 phase with addition of Ag nanoparticles showed the improvement in flux pinning strength of superconductor.

Fission of Weakly Prolate 119Sn and Weakly Oblate ^(209)Bi Nuclei Induced by 500 and 672 meV Negative Pions

Fission cross-sections of ^(119)Sn and ^(209)Bi induced by negative pions of two energies 500 and 672 meV were measured using a CR−39 nuclear track ***-detector stacks were exposed to pion beams at the Brookhaven National Laboratory(USA).measurement results are compared with the corresponding calculations using the computer code *** between measurements and calculations is fairly good for the ^(209)Bi target nuclei whereas it is poor for 119Sn at both investigated energies of 500 and 672 *** cross−section results of^( 119)Sn and ^(209)Bi are explained using the equilibrium properties of these nuclides including nuclear electric quadrupole moments which determine the shapes of nuclei.A logarithmic dependence of fission cross−section on Z^(2)/A is observed for the above−mentioned reactions and a critical limit of Z^(2)/A is identified with the value of 30 which divides the curve ofσf versus Z2/A into two regimes,one with weak dependence and the other with strong dependence.

Impact of a biochar or a biochar-compost mixture on water relation, nutrient uptake and photosynthesis of Phragmites karka

Soil water and nutrient status are both of major importance for plant appearance and growth *** objective of this study was to understand the effect of biochar(1.5%)and a biochar-compost mixture(1.5%biochar+1.5%compost)on the performance of Phragmites karka plants grown on a synthetic nutrient-poor sandy clay soil(50% sand,30% clay,and 20% gravel).Indicators of plant performance,such as growth,lignocellulosic biomass,water status(leaf water potential,osmotic potential,and turgor potential),mineral nutrition status,leaf gas exchange,and chlorophyll fluorescence,and soil respiration(carbon dioxide(CO2)flux)were assessed under greenhouse ***-treated plants had higher growth rates and lignocellulosic biomass production than control plants with no biochar and no *** was also a significant increase in soil respiration in the treatments with biochar,which stimulated microbial *** increase in soil water-holding capacity after biochar amendment caused significant improvements in plant water status and plant ion(K^+,mg^2+,and Ca^2+)contents,leading to an increase in net photosynthesis and a higher energy-use efficiency of photosystem ***-treated plants had lower oxidative stress,increased water-use efficiency,and decreased soil respiration,and the biochar-compost mixture resulted in even greater improvements in growth,leaf turgor potential,photosynthesis,nutrient content,and soil gas *** results suggest that biochar and compost promote plant growth with respect to nutrient uptake,water balance,and photosynthetic system *** summary,both the soil amendments studied could increase opportunities for *** to sequester CO2 and produce more fodder bio-active compounds and biomass for bio-energy on nutrient-poor degraded soils.
