This study introduces an innovative approach to optimize cloud computing job distribution using the Improved Dynamic Johnson Sequencing Algorithm(DJS).Em..asizing on-demand resource sharing,typical to Cloud Service Providers(CSPs),the research focuses on minimizing job completion delays through efficient task *** Johnson’s rule from operations research,the study addresses the challenge of resource availability post-task *** advocates for queuing models with multiple servers and finite capacity to improve job scheduling models,subsequently reducing wait times and queue *** Dynamic Johnson Sequencing Algorithm and the m/m/c/K queuing model are applied to optimize task sequences,showcasing their efficacy through comparative *** research evaluates the impact of makespan calculation on data file transfer times and assesses vital performance indicators,ultimately positioning the proposed technique as superior to existing approaches,offering a robust framework for enhanced task scheduling and resource allocation in cloud computing.

Inhibition of autophagy rescues HT22 hippocampal neurons from erastin-induced ferroptosis

Ferroptosis is a regulated form of cell death which is considered an oxidative iron-dependent *** lipid hydroperoxidase glutathione peroxidase 4 prevents the iron(Fe2+)-dependent formation of toxic lipid reactive oxygen *** emerging evidence indicates that inhibition of glutathione peroxidase 4 as a hallmark of ferroptosis in many cancer cell lines,the involvement of this biochem..al pathway in neuronal death remains largely ***,we investigate,first whether the ferroptosis key players are involved in the neuronal cell death induced by *** second objective was to examine whether there is a cross talk between ferroptosis and *** third main was to address neuron response to erastin,with a special focus on ferritin and nuclear receptor coactivator 4-mediated *** test this in neurons,erastin(0.5-8μm..as applied to hippocampal HT22 neurons for 16 *** addition,cells were cultured with the autophagy inhibitor,3-methyladenin(10 m..and/or ferroptosis inhibitors,ferrostatin 1(10-20μm)or deferoxamine(10-200μm)before exposure to *** this study,we demonstrated by immunofluorescence and western blot analysis,that erastin downregulates dramatically the expression of glutathione peroxidase 4,the sodium-independent cystine-glutamate antiporter and nuclear receptor coactivator *** protein levels of ferritin and mitochondrial ferritin in HT22 hippocampal neurons did not remarkably change following erastin *** addition,we demonstrated that not only the ferroptosis inhibitor,ferrostatin1/deferoxamine abrogated the ferroptotic cell death induced by erastin in hippocampal HT22 neurons,but also the potent autophagy inhibitor,*** conclude that(1)erastin-induced ferroptosis in hippocampal HT22 neurons,despite reduced nuclear receptor coactivator 4 levels,(2)that either nuclear receptor coactivator 4-mediated ferritinophagy does not occur or is of secondary importance in this model,(3)that ferroptos

In cognitive radio networks(CoR),the performance of cooperative spectrum sensing is improved by reducing the overall error rate or maximizing the detection *** optim..ation methods are usually used to optimize the number of user-chosen for cooperation and the threshold ***,these methods do not take into account the effect of sample size and its effect on improving CoR *** general,a large sample size results in more reliable detection,but takes longer sensing tim..and increases ***,the locally sensed sample size is an optim..ation ***,optimizing the local sample size for each cognitive user helps to improve CoR *** this study,two new methods are proposed to find the optimum..ample size to achieve objective-based improved(single/double)threshold energy detection,these methods are the optimum..ample size N^(*)and neural networks(NN)*** the evaluation,it was found that the proposed methods outperform the traditional sample size selection in terms of the total error rate,detection probability,and throughput.

Background:Electronic Health Record(EHR)system..are used as an efficient and effective technique for sharing patient’s health records among different hospitals and various other key stakeholders of the healthcare industry to achieve better diagnosis and treatment of patients ***,the existing EHR systems mostly lack in providing appropriate security,entrusted access control and handling privacy and secrecy issues and challenges in current hospital ***:To solve this delicate problem,we propose a Blockchain-enabled Hyperledger Fabric Architecture for different EHR ***:In our EHR blockchain system,Peer nodes from..arious organizations(stakeholders)create a ledger network,where channels are created to enable secure and private communication between different stakeholders on the ledger *** patients and other stakeholders are identified and registered on the network by unique digital certificates issued by membership service provider(mSP)component of the fabric ***:We created and implemented different Chaincodes to handle the business logic for executing separate EHR transactions on the *** proposed fabric architecture provides a secure,transparent and imm..able mechanism to store,share and exchange EHRs in a peer-to-peer network of different healthcare *** ensures interoperability,scalability and availability in adapting the existing EHRs for strengthening and providing an effective and secure method to integrate and m..age patient records among medical institutions in the healthcare ecosystem.
