Pure Ni and its com..sites with different percentages of Ni-Cr nano-oxides were coated over carbon steel to assess the coating features and m..hanical and corrosion behavior.A nano-oxide com..site of Ni-Cr was first synthesized through chem..al coprecipitation with uniform..istribution *** was em..oyed to coat pure Ni and Ni-(Ni-Cr)oxides(10,20,30,40,and 50 g/L)on the steel *** electron m..roscope and field em..sion scanning electron m..roscope were adopted to exam..e the m..rostructure of powders and coatings,and X-ray diffraction analysis was em..oyed to study the chem..al *** m..rohardness,thickness,and wear resistance of the coatings were assessed,polarization and electrochem..al im..dance spectroscopy(EIS)tests were conducted to analyze the corrosion behavior,and the corresponding equivalent circuit was *** showed flawless and crack-free coatings for all sam..es and uniform..istribution of nano-oxides in the Ni m..rix for the sam..es of 10-30 g/*** oxides were detected at high *** m..rohardness(HV 661),thickness(116μm..and wear resistance of coatings were found at 30 g/L.A three-loop equivalent circuit corresponded satisfactorily to all EIS *** corrosion resistance increased with the nano-oxide concentration of up to 30 g/L but decreased at 40 g/*** sam..e of 50 g/L showed the best corrosion resistance.

The num..ical sim..ations were perform.. using the Am..-1D sim..ator to study the effects of the CZTS as an absorber layer and the contacts’barrier height on the perform..ce of four ZnO/CdS/CZTS solar *** obtain the best cell perform..ces,the barrier heights of the back and front contacts were adjusted between 0.01,0.77,0.5,and 1.55 eV,*** sim..ations,we used the lifetim..m..e,and the device perform..ces were evaluated under Am..5 illum..ation *** found that the efficiency,fill factor,and open-circuit voltage were alm..t constant at a front contact barrier height of less than 0.31 *** short-current density was not affected by the front contact barrier *** back contact m..erial had a significant im..ct on the CZTS cells *** best perform..ce was obtained for the CZTS550 cell with JSC=29.53 m..cm..VOC=1.07 V,FF=0.88,andη=28.08%at barrier heights of 0.31 and 1.55 eV for front and back contacts,*** conduction band offset at the CZTS550/CdS hetero-junction was found to be spike-like with 0.21 *** obtained conversion efficiency is com..rable to those previously reported in the literature.

Research Background: The high prevalence of diabetes in Sudan, estim..ed at 16%, highlights the im..rtance of effective health education in diabetes m..agem..t. Diabetes self-m..agem..t education has been identified as a crucial tool in enhancing the knowledge, attitudes, and abilities necessary for self-m..agem..t am..g individuals with diabetes. Aim..To assess the im..ct of diabetes self-m..agem..t education on m..ication adherence and glycem.. control in Sudanese adults with type 2 diabetes before and 3 m..ths after the DSm..intervention. m..hod: The study was conducted in Sudan between Septem..r 2022 and m..ch 2023, it was an interventional, one-group, pre- and post-test study that aim.. to assess the im..ct of diabetes self-m..agem..t education (DSm.. on m..ication adherence and diabetes control in Sudanese adults with type 2 diabetes. The research was conducted in prim..y health care centers in six cities in Sudan and involved 244 participants. The data entry and statistical analysis were conducted using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences version 27.0. A paired t test was used for analysis. Results: The study included 244 participants, 67% of whom..ere m..es. The age m..n ± SD was 48.6 ± 9.3 years, and 85.3% of participants were m..ried. Age at onset of diabetes m..n ± SD was 40.60 ± 7.81 years;44.6% had diabetes for less than 5 years;and 84.1% had a positive fam..y history of diabetes m..litus. The levels of poor, low, and partial adherence to m..ication decreased by 8.2%, 4%, and 20.6%, respectively, after the intervention. The levels of good and high m..ication regim..adherence increased by 13% and 19.8%, respectively;Bm..decreased by 1.1 ± 0.73 kg/m..up>2 (p = 0.005). The fasting blood sugar decreased by 69 ± 32.9 m..dl (p = 0.049), and the glycated hem..lobin decreased by 1.21 ± 0.28% (p = 0.001). Conclusions: The findings of this study reinforce the im..rtance of patient education in im..oving glycem.. control and enhancing self-m..agem..t

One of the m..t pressing concerns for the consum.. m..ket is the detection of adulteration in m..t products due to their *** rapid and accurate identification m..hanism..or lard adulteration in m..t products is highly necessary,for developing a m..hanism..rusted by consum..s and that can be used to m..e a definitive *** Transform..nfrared Spectroscopy(FTIR)is used in this work to identify lard adulteration in cow,lam..and chicken sam..es.A sim..ified extraction m..hod was im..ied to obtain the lipids from..ure and adulterated *** sam..es were obtained by m..ing lard with chicken,lam..and beef with different concentrations(10%–50%v/v).Principal com..nent analysis(PCA)and partial least square(PLS)were used to develop a calibration m..el at 800–3500 cm..−1).Three-dim..sion PCA was successfully used by dividing the spectrum..n three regions to classify lard m..t adulteration in chicken,lam..and beef *** corresponding FTIR peaks for the lard have been observed at 1159.6,1743.4,2853.1,and 2922.5 cm..,which differentiate chicken,lam..and beef *** wavenum..rs offer the highest determ..ation coefficient R2 value of 0.846 and lowest root m..n square error of calibration(Rm..C)and root m..n square error prediction(Rm..P)with an accuracy of 84.6%.Even the tiniest fat adulteration up to 10%can be reliably discovered using this m..hodology.
