Lisinopril is found to be useful in hypertension and statins as cholesterol lowering drug. Present work was designed for the sim..taneous determ..ation of lisinopril in presence of pravastatin, atorvastatin, and rosuvastatin using RP-HPLC m..hod. A Purospher star C 18 （5 μm..25 × 0.46 cm..colum..was used with m..ile phase consisting of acetonitrile ： water （60 ： 40 V/V, pH 3.0） with flow rate of 1.0 m..m..-1 and the quantitative evaluation was perform.. at 225 nm..The retention tim..of lisinopril was 2.0 m.. and for pravastatin, rosuvastatin and atorvastatin was found to be 3.1, 4.5 and 8.3 m.. respectively. Suitability of this m..hod for the quantitative determ..ation of the drugs was proved by validation in accordance with the requirem..ts laid down by International Conference on Harm..ization （ICH） guidelines. Application of the suggested procedures were successfully applied to the determ..ation of these com..unds in active pharm..eutical ingredient and in pharm..eutical preparations, with high percentage of recovery, good accuracy and precision.

ZnO-ZrO2 nanocom..site was prepared by sol-gel m..hod and in-situ polym..ization was used to synthesize ZnO-ZrO2 nanocom..site doped polyaniline （PANI）. The m..erials were characterized by X-ray diffraction （XRD）, Fourier transform..nfrared （FTIR） spectroscopy, transm..sion electron m..roscopy （TEm.. scanning electron m..roscopy （SEm..and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy （EDX） to ensure the crystallite size, functional groups, m..phology and chem..al com..sition of the polym.. nanocom..site com..ex. The average particle size of the ZnO-Zr02 nanoparticles was found to be 20.5 nm..Therm.. gravim..ric analysis （TGA） was used to study the therm.. stability of the com..ex, shows im..oved therm.. stability of polym.. nanocom..site as com..red to the pure organic polym... The m..erial also possesses good electrical conductivity. Additionally, the photocatalytic activity of the m..erials was investigated by m..itoring the decolorization of Acid Blue 29 dye in a UV photocatalytic reactor and PANI-ZnO-ZrO2 was found to possess higher photocatalytic activity than pure PANI. Finally, the antibacterial activity of the m..erials was exam..ed and it was observed that PANI-ZnO-ZrO2 could be used as an excellent antibacterial agent. Hence, desired properties could be integrated by m..ing appropriate phases of the m..erials for specific applications such as heterogeneous catalyst, antibacterial agents, antibiotics delivery and high tem..rature conducting polym..s.

Presum..ive identifcation of different Enterobaeteriaeeae species is routinely achieved based on biochem..al properties. Traditional practice includes m..ual com..rison of each biochem..ical property of the unknown sam..e with known reference sam..es and inference of its identity based on the m..im.. sim..arity pattern with the known sam..es. This process is labor- intensive, tim..consum..g, error-prone, and subjective. Therefore, autom..ion of sorting and sim..ilarity in calculation would be advantageous. Here we present a m..LAB-based graphical user interface （GUI） tool nam.. BioCluster. This tool was designed for autom..ed clustering and iden- tification of Enterobacteriaceae based on biochem..al test results. In this tool, we used two types of algorithm.. i.e., traditional hierarchical clustering （HC） and the Im..oved Hierarchical Clustering （IHC）, a m..ified algorithm..hat was developed specifically for the clustering and identification of within this species. IHC takes into account the variability in result of 1-47 biochem..al tests fam..y. This tool also provides different options to optim..e the clus- tering in a user-friendly way. Using com..ter-generated synthetic data and som..real data, we have dem..strated that BioCluster has high accuracy in clustering and identifying enterobacterial species based on biochem..al test data. A theoretical investigation on the propagation of positron-acoustic shock waves （PASWs） in an unm..netized, collisionless, dense plasm..（containing non-relativistic inertial cold positrons, non-relativistic or ultra-relativistic degenerate electron and hot positron fluids and nondegenerate positively charged im..bile ions） is carried out by em..oying the reductive perturbation m..hod. The Burgers equation and its stationary shock wave solution are derived and num..ically analyzed. It is observed that the relativistic effect （i.e., the presence of non/ultra- relativistic electrons and positrons） and the plasm..particle num..r densities play vital roles in the propagation of PASWs. The im..ications of our results in space and interstellar com..ct objects including non-rotating white dwarfs, neutron stars, etc. are briefly discussed.

Elevated price of chem..al fertilizers and poor nutrient content in conventional organic sources such as m..icipal solid waste(m..)com..st necessitate the production of nutrient enriched com..st which could serve as a potential alternative organic fertilizer *** studied three types of am..ded com..st that were prepared by m..ing 20%m..tard oil cake(m..)and 30%poultry m..ure(Pm..r cow dung or sugarcane press m..(SPm..ith 50%m.. *** viride was inoculated into every type of *** rate of am..ded or unam..ded m.. com..st application was 10 t ha^(−1).The use of different am..dm..ts im..oved the nutrient level of m.. com..st,of which the N increm..t was rem..kable,ranging from...14%N(unam..ded com..st)to 2.9%–3.22%N depending on the types of am..dm..t.A field experim..t was conducted to evaluate perform..ces of the am..ded m.. com..sts on the yield and nutrient content of potato(variety BARI Alu25).All com..st treatm..ts except the sole m.. com..st treatm..t produced significantly higher tuber yields than the sole fertilizer *** press m.. based m.. com..st+fertilizer treatm..t produced the highest tuber yield of 31.6 t ha^(−1)(65%increase over 100%fertilizers and 57%increase over 100%com..st treatm..t).The tuber N concentration varied from...128%to 0.594%,P from...018%to 0.035%,K from...213%to 0.313%and S from...020%to 0.053%,with the highest result recorded with press m..+fertilizer *** use of am..ded com..sts had residual effects on soil N,P,K and S ***,the treatm..t containing 50%fertilizer+50%com..st m..ture(m..:m..:SPm..n a ratio of 5:2:3)perform.. the best followed by Pm..m..ded *** is concluded that integrated use of 10 t ha^(−1) organic am..ded m.. com..st with chem..al fertilizers can ensure higher crop yield,nutrient content and sustained soil fertility in nutrient-deficient sub-tropical soil.

m..al com..exes of ciprofloxacin were synthesized to study the effect of the drug on the m..als present in the body or m..als co-adm..istered as m..tivitam.. therapy. These com..exes were then characterized by IR, UV, 1 H Nm.. CHN and AA analyses. It was found that the m..als coordinated through the β-keto carboxylic group, form..g four coordinated com..exes having square planar geom..ry. The effect of the antibacterial activity of these com..exes with respect to parent drug was also studied against 14 different Gram.. ve and Gram.. ve organism..by the disk susceptibility technique. Objective: To explore the presence of Zika virus(ZIKV) in Bangladesh and to understand the associated risk ***: A retrospective sero-surveillance was perform.. on stored serum..am..es of dengue surveillance conducted from..013 to 2016.
