This article m.kes the first attem.t in assessing the influence of active constrained layer dam.ing(ACLD)treatm.nt towards precise control of frequency responses of functionally graded skew-m.gneto-electroelastic(FGSm.E)plates by em.loying finite elem.nt *** m.terials are functionally graded across the thickness of the plate in term. of m.dest power-law *** principal equations of m.tion of FGSm.E are derived via Ham.lton’s principle and solved using condensation *** effect of ACLD patches are m.delled by following the com.lex m.dulus approach(Cm.).Additionally,distinctive em.hasis is laid to evaluate the influence of geom.trical skewness on the attenuation capabilities of the *** accuracy of the current analysis is corroborated with com.arison of previous researches of sim.lar ***,a com.lete param.tric study is directed to understand the com.ined im.acts of various factors like coupling fields,patch location,fiber orientation of piezoelectric patch in association with skew angle and power-law index.

This article deals with investigating the effect of cut-outs on the natural frequencies of m.gneto-electroelastic(m.E)plates incorporating finite elem.nt m.thods based on higher order shear deform.tion theory(HSDT).In order to consider the influence of cut-out,the energy of the cut-out dom.in is subtracted from.the total energy of the entire *** governing equations of m.tions are derived through incorporating Ham.lton’s principle and the solution is obtained using condensation *** proposed num.rical form.lation is verified with the results of previously published literature as well as the num.rical *** addition,this research focuses on evaluating the effect of geom.trical skewness and boundary conditions on the frequency *** influence of cut-outs on the degree of coupling between m.gnetic,electric and elastic fields is also investigated.
