We determ.ned whether the inclusion of 100 g/kg dry m.tter of grape pom.ce silage (GPS) and grape pom.ce bran (GPB) as substitutes for other traditional fiber sources in the diet of steers (charolais x Nellore) would im.rov. carcass characteristics, m.at quality and com.osition, and shelf life. Twenty-four anim.ls (248 ± 19.32 kg of initial body weight) were fed a high concentrate diet for 121 days. Carcass characteristics were m.asured, and the longissim.s dorsi m.scle was analyzed for fatty acid (FA) profile and com.osition. The m.at was sliced and stored in air-perm.able packages for 10 days. On each sam.ling day (d 1, 3, 7, and 10), oxidativ. stability, bacterial load, lipid and protein oxidation, and staining were analyzed. The experim.ntal diets influenced the pH of cold carcasses only. The GPS group had a higher pH than the control. The GPS and GPB groups showed im.rov.d oxidant status (i.e., lower lipid peroxidation and concentrations of reactiv. oxygen species were in the m.at of both groups than in control). On the first day of storage, the antioxidant enzym. glutathione S-transferase activ.ty was m.re significant in the m.at of the GPS and GPB groups than in the control. The bacterial loads in the m.at were attenuated by GPS inclusion;there were lower total coliform.counts and a trend toward lower counts for enterobacteria in the control group. The diets altered the FA profile of the m.at;i.e., the GPB diet allowed for a m.re significant am.unt of the n-6 om.gas in the m.at, while the GPS diet showed a tendency for a m.re significant am.unt of n-6 and 9 om.gas. Both diets (GPS and GPB) increased the am.unts of long-chain FAs. The GPS diet decreased saturated FA lev.ls. We conclude that the dietary treatm.nts GPS and GPB are a prom.sing alternativ. to m.intain m.at quality standards throughout in real-world retail conditions. v.hicular ad hoc networks (v.NETs) prov.de intelligent nav.gation and efficient route m.nagem.nt, resulting in tim. sav.ngs and cost reductions in the transportation sector. Howev.r, the exchange of beacons and m.ssages ov.r public channels am.ng v.hicles and roadside units renders these networks v.lnerable to num.rous attacks and priv.cy v.olations. To address these challenges, sev.ral priv.cy and security preserv.tion protocols based on blockchain and public key cryptography hav. been proposed recently. Howev.r, m.st of these schem.s are lim.ted by a long execution tim. and m.ssiv. com.unication costs, which m.ke them.inefficient for on-board units (OBUs).Additionally, som. of them.are still susceptible tom.ny *** such, this study presents a nov.l protocol based on the fusion of elliptic curv. cryptography (ECC) and bilinear pairing (BP) operations. The form.l security analysis is accom.lished using the Burrows-Abadi-Needham.BAN) logic, dem.nstrating that our schem. is v.rifiably secure. The proposed schem.'s inform.l security assessm.nt also shows that it prov.des salient security features, such as non-repudiation, anonym.ty, and unlinkability. m.reov.r, the schem. is shown to be resilient against attacks, such as packet replays, forgeries,m.ssage falsifications, and im.ersonations. From.he perform.nce perspectiv., this protocol yields a 37.88% reduction in com.unication ov.rheads and a 44.44% im.rov.m.nt in the supported security features. In this paper,the synthesis,structural ev.lution,and dielectric properties of BaTiO_(3)solid solutions codoped with rare earth elem.nts(Gd^(3+)and Eu^(3+))prepared using the solid-state reaction m.thod are *** pure precursor powders of BaCl_3,TiO_(2),Gd_(2)O_(3),and Eu_(2)O_(3)were m.xed in stoichiom.tric proportions,ground in an agate m.rtar before being uniaxially pressed at 250 m.a and sintered at 1300℃in air atm.sphere for 6 h to obtain Ba_(1-3x)Gd_(2x)Ti_(1-3x)Eu_(4x)O_(3)(x=0,0.0015,0.01 and0.1).X-ray diffraction(XRD)and Rietv.ld's refinem.nt results rev.al the crystal phase ferroelectric tetragonal BaTiO_(3)for the sam.les with x=0,0.0015 and 0.01,as well as a consistent increm.nt in the lattice param.ters caused by the *** solubility lim.t of Gd^(3+)and Eu^(3+)in the BaTiO_(3)structure is reached for the sam.le with x>0.01,and the orthorhom.ic Eu_2TiO_(5)and m.noclinic BaTi_(2)O_(5)secondary phases were *** Ram.n results show the characteristic peaks of ferroelectric tetragonal BaTiO_(3)around 716 cm.(-1)(LO of A1 sym.etry),515 cm.(-1)(TO of A1 sym.etry),and 305 cm.(-1)(B1).The m.xim.m.relativ. perm.ttiv.ty m.asured at 1 kHz was recorded to be 6151.8 for the sam.le with x=0.0015,and a decrease in the Curie tem.erature to 105℃with respect to the undoped sam.le was *** punctual m.croanalysis for the sam.les with x=0.0015,0.01,and 0.1 rev.als grains com.osed of Ba,Ti,O,Gd,and Eu hom.geneously distributed in the BaTiO_(3)*** Ba/Ti ratios for sam.les with x=0.0015,0.01 and 0.1 are 2.86,2.91,and 0.68,respectiv.ly,indicating substitution at the Ti site for sam.les with x=0.0015 and 0.01 and a substitution at the Ba site for the sam.le with x=0.1.
