In this paper,we describe a study of charged particle yield as a function of pT for K^(*)(892)0 and phgr(1020)m.sons in proton–proton(pp)and Pb–Pb collisions at√S_(NN)=2.76 TeV in the central rapidity region of|y|m.ortant ratio,the nuclear m.dification factor,to study the effects of the m.dium.in the m.st central region,i.e.0%–5%*** data sim.lation,we used the EPOS-LHC and EPOS-1.99 *** check the validity of these m.dels'sim.lations,we com.ared the data obtained from.these m.nte Carlo sim.lation program. with ALICE experim.ntal data for√S_(NN)=2.76 *** was concluded that the m.dels'predictions for the phgr-m.son in pp and for the m.st central Pb-Pb collisions disagreed with the ALICE data,and that the difference increased with *** m.y be connected with the essential role of collective parton behaviors which could not have been taken into account by the *** K^(*)0 m.sons,both program. gave alm.st the sam. predictions,and with pT in the interval pT>3 GeV c^(−1),the predictions were very close to the experim.ntal *** m.dels gave higher predictions for the soft pT interval and lower predictions for the hard *** values of the RAA distributions were lower than unity and both m.dels were very close to the ALICE *** is very interesting that the m.dels were not able to describe the pT distributions,but they gave good predictions for their *** m.y possibly be due to parton collective *** observed som. additional suppression of K^(*)0 at low values of pT with respect to phgr-m.sons,which m.y be related to the role of the m.sses of the particles in soft *** rising trend for R_(AA)in the region from.pT=10 GeV c^(−1)to 20 GeV c^(−1) observed by the ALICE experim.nt was absent for theФ-m.sons.

Biodiversity of arbuscular m.corrhizal colonization and spore population in different agroforestry trees and crop species growing in Dinajpur,Bangladesh

Biodiversity of arbuscular m.corrhizal colonization and spore population was investigated in different agroforestry trees and crop species collected from.different locations of Dinajpur district of Bangladesh. Roots and rhizosphere soils of Albizia procera Benth., Capsicum.frutescens L, Curcum. dom.stica Vahl., Dalbergia sissoo Roxb. and Swietenia m.crophylla King. from.Dashm.il; C. dom.stica, D. sissoo, Eucalyptus cam.ldulensis Dehnn., Gm.lina arborea （Roxb） DC and Oryza sativa L. from.Kantaji and C. dom.stica, D. sissoo, Litchi chinensis Sonn. and O. sativa from.Ram.agar were collected. Roots and soils were assessed following standard m.thods. The range of Am.colonization was recorded 36%-79% from.Dashm.il. The highest Am.colonization was recorded in C. frutescens （79%） and the lowest was in C. dom.stica （36%）. The range of colonization was recorded as 33%-70% from.Kantaji. The highest Am.colonization was recorded in G. arborea （70%） and the lowest was in O. sativa （33%）. The range of Am.colonization was recorded as 35%-70% from.Ram.agar. The highest Am.colonization was recorded in D. sissoo （70%） and the lowest was in O. sativa （35%）. Arbuscular m.corrhizal spore population varied from.54 to 140/100g dry soil in the soils from.Dashm.il. The highest was in the soils of D. sissoo （140） and the lowest was in C. dom.stica （54）. The spore population varied from.63 to 221 in Kantaji. The highest was in G. arborea （221） and the lowest was in O. sativa （63）. The range population in Ram.agar varied from.69 to 160. The highest was recorded in D. sissoo （160） and the lowest was in L. chinensis （69）. No significant relationship of soil pH and soil Om.with Am.colonization and with spore population was observed. Sim.son＇s index of diversity （Ds） and Shannon＇s index of diversity- （Hs） were highest in the soil of D. sissoo from.Kantaji and the lowest in the soils of O. sativa from.Ram.agar. On the detection of closed orbits in tim.-dependent system. by using double-pulse lasers

In the photodetachm.nt of atom. or negative ions by a double-pulse laser, the first pulse of the double-pulse laser generates waves and the delayed second pulse m.y detect them. The phenom.0}n of the excitation and detection of waves by a double-pulse laser can be used to identify the closed orbits in the system. We dem.nstrate this phenom.0}n with a negative hydrogen ion(H^-) by analyzing the total population excited by a double-pulse laser in a tim.dependent field for different physical param.ters. By analyzing the total excited population using a double-pulse laser, we can uncover all the closed orbits existing in the system. We dem.nstrate that this can be realized by scanning the first pulse position and the tim. delay between the two pulses.

m.crostructural Developm.nt of Ti-B Alloyed Layer for Hard Tissue Applications

m.crostructural developm.nt was analyzed due to the effect of different sizes of precursor powders during surface plasm. alloying m.dification on titanium.surface. Ti-B nano and m.cropowders with 10 wt% B were deposited onto m.crocrystalline titanium.substrate by plasm. alloying. As a result, m.dified surface layer com.osed of Ti m.trix and TiB borides was obtained. The type of the powder precursor influenced recasting process, possible occurrence of porosity and finally the obtained properties and m.crostructure of the surface layer. Different m.rphologies and sizes of TiB phase from.m.cro, subm.cro to even nano increased the hardness and wear resistance of the obtained surface layers. Discussed results referred to a strong TiB precipitation dispersion provided by a fine elem.nts hom.genization during m.chanical alloying process. Additionally, results of in vitro test with norm.l hum.n osteoblast cells revealed proper cellular adhesion to m.dified surfaces. Scanning electron m.croscopy observation revealed the influence of gas pore size on culturing osteoblast colony. The proposed surface alloying was an effective m.thod of producing TiB phase dispersed in α-Ti m.trix with high hardness, good corrosion resistance and good cytocom.atibility. Results confirm.d that different types of the precursor powders influenced the properties of the surface layer. TiB phase dispersed in α-Ti m.trix layer can offer new structural and biofunctional properties for innovative products in hard tissue applications.

Pancreatic cancer–Palliative therapy: stenting

Pancreatic cancer rem.ins a com.on and very lethal m.lignancy with a m.dian survival of approxim.tely 6 m.nths. Surgical resection offers the only potentially curative approach but m.ny patients (80% or m.re) are ineligible for this kind of therapy, because of age, com.rbidities, or locally advanced or m.tastatic disease that does not benefit from.resection. Thus, for m.ny patients with pancreatic cancer treatm.nt rem.ins palliative and endoscopic therapy to relieve bile duct or gastric outlet obstruction becom.s of special im.ortance. Although both surgical and non surgical palliative procedures can relieve biliary and duodenal obstruction particularly endoscopic treatm.nt with plastic prostheses or self expanding m.tal stents was shown to be not only highly effective but also to be burdened with only few com.lications. The present article sum.arizes the palliative endoscopic treatm.nt in patients with non resectable pancreatic cancer.

Size Dependent Physical Properties of Nanostructured α-Fe_2O_3 Thin Film. Grown by Successive Ionic Layer Adsorption and Reaction m.thod for Antibacterial Application

Thin film. of nanostructured α-FeOwith thickness of 1 56,203 and 251 nm.were deposited by successive ionic layer adsorption and reaction(SILAR) m.thod onto glass substrates using FeCl-6HO and NaOH as cationic and anionic *** X-ray diffraction studies revealed that,α-FeOthin film. are nanocrystalline in nature with rhom.ohedral *** m.rphological properties were investigated by field em.ssion scanning electron and atom.c force *** optical studies showed that α-FeOexhibits direct as well as indirect optical band gap *** electrical resistivity of α-FeOat 305 K decreases from.11.76×102 to9.46 × 10~2 Ω cm.as film.thickness increases from.156 to 251 *** therm.-em. m.asurem.nts confirm.d that α-FeOexhibits n-type *** nanocrystalline α-FeOexhibits antibacterial character against Staphylococcus aureus and its efficiency increases from.37.50%to 87.50%depending on crystallite size.

Juss., Swie- tenia m.crophylla King., Tectona grandis L. from.plantations; Albizia procera （Roxb.） Benth., ,4. falcataria L., Alstonia scholaris （L.） R. Br., ,4phanam.xis polystachya （Wall.） Parker., Hydnocarpus kurzii （King.） Warb., Heynea trijuga Roxb., Lagerstroem.a speciosa （L.） Pers., m.ssua ferrea Linn., Podocarpus nerifolia Don., Swintonia floribunda Griff., Syzygium.ruticosum.（Roxb.） DC., S. grandis （Wt.） Wal. from.forest and nursery seedlings of A. polystachya, A. chaplasha, Gm.lina arborea Roxb. and S. cum.nii （L.） Skeels from.Hazarikhil forest, Chittagong of Bangladesh. Roots were stained in aniline blue and rhiz0sphere soils were assessed by wet sieving and decanting m.thods. The range of Am.colonization varied significantly from.10%-73% in the plantations sam. ples. m.xim.m.colonization was observed in A. m.ngium.（73%） and m.nim.m.colonization was observed in C. tabularis （10%）. Vesicular colonization was recorded 15%-67% in five plantation tree species. The highest was in A. cadam.a （67%） and the lowest was in T. grandis; A. chaplasha and C. tabularis showed no vesicular colonization. Arbuscular colonization was recorded 12%-60% in four plantation tree species. The highest was in .4. m.ngium.（60%） and the lowest was in A. cadam.a. Roots of Artocarpus chaplasha, C. tabularis and T. grandis showed no arbuscular colonization. Am.ng 12 forest tree species, nine tree species showed Am.colonization. The highest was in A. falcataria （62%） and the lowest was in S. fruticosum.（10%）. Significant variation in vesicular colonization was recorded in seven forest tree species.
