The com.ined effect of conduction-convection-radiation on natural convec- tion flow of an optically thick Newtonian fluid with gray radiant properties, confined in a porous m.dia square cavity with Darcy-Brinkm.n-Forchheim.r drag is studied num.ri- cally. For a gray fluid, Rosseland diffusion approxim.tion is considered. It is assum.d that （i） the tem.erature of the left vertical wall varies linearly with height, （ii） the right vertical and top walls are at a lower tem.erature, and （iii） the bottom.wall is uniform.y-heated. The governing equations are solved using the alternate direct im.licit m.thod together with the successive over relaxation technique. The investigation of the effect of governing param.ters, nam.ly, the Forschheim.r resistance （F）, the tem.erature difference （A）, and the Plank num.er （Rd）, on the flow pattern and heat transfer characteristics is carried out. It can be seen that the reduction of flow and heat transfer occur as the Forschheim.r resistance is increased. On the other hand, both the flow strength and heat transfer in- crease as the tem.erature ratio A is increased.

In this paper, we present a new approach (Kalm.n Filter Sm.othing) to estim.te and forecast survival of Diabetic and Non Diabetic Coronary Artery Bypass Graft Surgery (CABG) patients. Survival proportions of the patients are obtained from.a lifetim. representing param.tric m.del (Weibull distribution with Kalm.n Filter approach). m.reover, an approach of com.lete population (CP) from.its incom.lete population (IP) of the patients with 12 years observations/follow-up is used for their survival analysis [1]. The survival proportions of the CP obtained from.Kaplan m.ier m.thod are used as observed values yt?at tim. t (input) for Kalm.n Filter Sm.othing process to update tim. varying param.ters. In case of CP, the term.representing censored observations m.y be dropped from.likelihood function of the distribution. m.xim.m.likelihood m.thod, in-conjunction with Davidon-Fletcher-Powell (DFP) optim.zation m.thod [2] and Cubic Interpolation m.thod is used in estim.tion of the survivor’s proportions. The estim.ted and forecasted survival proportions of CP of the Diabetic and Non Diabetic CABG patients from.the Kalm.n Filter Sm.othing approach are presented in term. of statistics, survival curves, discussion and conclusion.

The effects of gravitom.gnetic force on plasm. oscillations are investigated using the kinetic theory of hom.geneous electrically neutral plasm. in the absence of external electric or m.gnetic field. The random.phase assum.tion is em.loyed neglecting the therm.l m.tion of the electrons with respect to a fixed ion background. It is found that the gravitom.gnetic force reduces the characteristic frequency of the plasm. thus enhancing the refractive index of the m.dium. The estim.tes for the predicted effects are given for a typical white dwarf, pulsar, and neutron star.

Dy2O3 is a rare earth oxide having a num.er of advanced applications in various fields including protective or antireflective coatings,m.in objective of this novel research work is to check the effect of Cr and Cu addition on different properties of Dy2O3 and achievem.nt of antireflective thin film. with enhanced abso *** film. of these m.terials we re deposited using DC m.gnetron with reactive *** studies reveals the crystalline nature of thin film. having Dy2O3(222)reflection in all sam.les with Cr2O3(116)and CuO(111)reflections in Cr and Cu containing *** em.ssion scanning electron m.croscopy dem.nstrates the hom.geneous deposition of thin film. with uniform.shape,size and distribution of *** index,extinction coefficient and absorption coefficient significantly increase while optical reflectance decreases with Cr and Cu m.diation corroborating an im.roved antireflective *** im.ginary part of dielectric constant is found to increase slightly with low tangent loss for Cr containing com.osition co nsidered favorable for energy storage applications.

This study addresses the form.tion of anisotropic com.act star m.dels in the background of f(T,T)gravity(where T and T represent the torsion and trace of the energy m.m.ntum.tensor,respectively).f(T,T)gravity is an extension of the f(T)theory,and it allows a general non-m.nim.l coupling between T and *** this setup,we apply Krori and Barua's solution to the static spacetim. with the com.onents ξ=Br^(2)+c and ψ=Ar^(2).To develop viable solutions,we select a well-known m.del f(T,T)=αT^(m.+βT+Ф(where α and β are coupling param.ters,and Ф indicates the cosm.logical constant).We adopt the conventional m.tching of interior and exterior space tim. to evaluate the unknowns,which are em.loyed in the stellar *** present a com.rehensive discussion on the stellar properties to elaborate the anisotropic nature of com.act stars corresponding to well-known m.dels:PSRJ1416-2230,4U1608-52,CenX-3,EXO1785-248,and *** physical analysis,it is observed that the solution of com.act spheres satisfy the acceptability criteria,and its m.dels behave optim.lly and depict stability and consistency,in accordance with f(T,T)gravity.

Dodecyl benzenesulfonic acid(DBSA)surfactant was used in the present study to find the effect of concentrationon its electrical conductance in solution from.293-323 K above and below the critical m.celle concentration(Cm.).Them.cellization param.ters *** of counter ion binding(β),aggregation num.er(n)and num.er of counter ion m.celle(m.were *** interaction of DBSA with polyvinylpyrrolidone(PVP)was also studied at 293 K throughconductance and surface tension m.asure m.nts.A num.er of im.ortant param.ters *** aggregation concentration(CAC),Gibb's free energy(△G)and binding ratio(R)were determ.ned and the effect of NaCl on the CAC and polym.rsaturation point(PSP)was also investigated.
