We investigate the im.act of Ni insertion on the structural,optical,and m.gnetic properties of Ba_(0.8)La_(0.2)Fe_(12-x)Ni_(x)O_(19)hexaferrites(Ni substituted La-Bam.hexaferrites).Sam.les were prepared using the conventional co-precipitation m.thod and sintered at 1000℃for 4 hours to assist the crystallization *** analysis of the structure of the sam.les was carried out using an x-ray diffraction(XRD)*** m.type hexagonal structure of all the sam.les was confirm.d using XRD *** lattice param.ters a and c were found to be in the ranges of 5.8925±0.001 nm.5.8952±0.001 nm.and 23.2123±0.001 nm.23.2219±0.001 nm.*** m.type hexagonal nature of the prepared sam.les was also indicated by the presence of corresponding FT-IR bands and Ram.n m.des in the FT-IR and Ram.n spectra,*** results confirm.d the successful synthesis of the sam.les according to the required stoichiom.tric ratio.A UV-vis spectrom.ter was used to record the absorption spectra of the prepared sam.les in the wavelength range of 200 nm.1100 *** optical energy bandgap of the sam.les was found to be in the range of 1.21 eV–3.39 *** m.H loops of the sam.les were m.asured at room.tem.erature at an applied m.gnetic field range of 0 kOe–60 kOe.A high saturation m.gnetization of 99.92 em./g was recorded in the sam.le with x=0 at a m.crowave operating frequency of 22.2 *** high value of saturation m.gnetization is due to the substitution of La3+ions at the spin-up(12k,2a,and 2b)*** Ni substitution is proven to be a potential candidate for the tuning of the optical and m.gnetic param.ters of m.type ***,we suggest that the prepared sam.les are suitable for use in m.gneto-optic applications.

A system.c strategy was proposed to im.rove aerobic granular sludge(AGS)stability and nitrogen(N)rem.val efficiency by optim.zing feeding m.de and substrate aim.ng at com.licated wastewater *** functional groups at the genus level identified by high-throughput sequencing were evaluated as *** results showed that anaerobic feeding m.de and acetate prom.ted the com.act AGS form.tion with excellent total nitrogen(TN)rem.val efficiency(averaging 91.7%±4.1%)at various dissolved oxygen *** the aerobic feeding m.de led to a loose AGS structure with a vulnerable anaerobic core and poor TN rem.val efficiency(averaging58.8%±7.4%).Sim.ltaneous nitrification and denitrification process played the dom.nant role in N rem.val in com.act AGS over the alternating nitrification and denitrification ***-concentration glucose underm.ned feast-fam.ne condition with filam.ntous bacteria growth out of granule and decreased TN rem.val efficiency to 67.3%±15.2%.Lower food to m.croorganism.ratio m.y result in a lower N rem.val rate attributed to the sharply increased biom.ss concentration fed by ***-oxidizing bacteria,nitrite-oxidizing bacteria,denitrifying bacteria,and denitrifying phosphorus accum.lation organism. enriched during AGS granulation also contributed to the efficient N *** proposed strategy provided insights into the relationship between various factors and stable AGS form.tion,and system.c operation m.thods for various com.licated wastewater treatm.nt.

m.crobial fuel cell(m.C) is an advanced bioelectrochem.cal technique that can utilize biom.ss m.terials in the process of sim.ltaneously generating electricity and biodegrading or bio transform.ng toxic pollutants from.wastewater. The overall perform.nce of the system.is largely dependent on the efficiency of the anode electrode to enhance electron transportation. Furtherm.re, the anode electrode has a significant im.act on the overall cost of m.C setup. Hence, the need to explore research focused towards developing cost-effective m.terial as anode in m.C. This m.terial m.st also have favourable properties for electron transportation. Graphene oxide(GO) derivatives and its m.dification with nanom.terials have been identified as a viable anode m.terial. Herein, we discussed an econom.cally effective strategy for the synthesis of graphene derivatives from.waste biom.ss m.terials and its subsequent fabrication into anode electrode for m.C applications. This review article offers a prom.sing approach towards replacing com.ercial graphene m.terials with biom.ss-derived graphene derivatives in a view to achieve a sustainable and com.ercialized m.C.

Construction of S-schem. m.O_(2)@CdS heterojunction with core–shell structure as H_(2)-production photocatalyst

Artificial photosynthesis is deem.d as an efficient protocol for transform.ng abundant solar energy into valuable fuel. In this paper, the well-defined one-dim.nsional(1D) core–shell m.O_(2)@CdS hybrids were constructed by em.loying m.O_(2) nanotubes and CdS nanoparticles as nano-building blocks via a chem.cal coprecipitation route. The rationally designed core–shell structure provided an intim.te heterojunction interface between the CdS shell and m.O_(2) core. All the m.O_(2)@CdS core–shell nanocom.osites possess higher H_(2) evolution rate through visible light irradiation contrary to pristine CdS, and the optim.l m.O_(2)@CdS hybrid exhibits the utm.st H_(2) evolution rate of 3.94 m.ol·g^(-1)·h^(-1), which is2.8-fold higher com.ared with that of CdS. Appertaining to XPS and m.tt-Schottky(m.S) analysis, such enhanced photocatalytic H_(2) generation of m.O_(2)@CdS heterojunction was ascribed to an S-schem. m.chanism. which suppressed the charge recom.ination along with a fast detachm.nt of electron–hole pairs(e^(-)–h^(+)) and significantly im.roved the severance of carriers, thus im.roved H_(2) evolution perform.nce. These findings envision a new insight into the developm.nt of S-schem. heterostructure for photocatalytic H_(2) generation.

Thin film. of Nickel Phthalocyanine have been prepared by evaporation technique for (50 - 350 nm. of thickness. XRD studies show that the thin film. have single crystalline structure for low thicknesses with (100) orientation and the crystallite size increased with increased thickness. Also from.the AFm.technique for NiPc film., the roughness was determ.ned and the grain size increases with increasing of thickness from.except at thickness 350 nm. The studies of electrical properties, m.rphology and orientations of the crystallites are im.ortant to understand and predict the nature of the film. and essential for their successful applications in solar cell and sensors. The electrical properties of these film. were studied with different thickness, NiPc has three activation energy. Carrier’s concentration and m.bility was calculated. Hall m.asurem.nts showed that all the film. are p-type.

Estim.tion the Density of Localized State Glassy Se_(100-x)Zn_(x) Thin Film. by Using Space Charge Lim.ted Conduction m.asurem.nt

The dc conductivity in vacuum.evaporated am.rphous thin film. of the glassy alloys Se100–xZnx(2 ≤ x ≤ 20) are m.as-ured in the tem.erature range (308 - 388 K). The dc conductivity (σdc) is increases with increased of Zn concentration in the glassy alloys. The activation energy (ΔE) decreases with increase of Zn content. The conduction is explained on the basis of localized state in the m.bility gap. To study the effect of electric field, a Current-Voltage characteristic has been m.asured at various fixed tem.eratures. The Current-Voltage data are fitted into the theory of space charge lim.ted conduction in case of uniform.distribution of traps in m.bility gap at high electric fields (E ~104 V/cm. of these m.terials. The density of localized state (g0) are estim.ted by fitting in theory of space charge lim.ted conduction (SCLC) at the tem.erature range of (352 - 372 K) in the glassy Se100–xZnx. The density of localized state (0) near the Ferm. level are increases with increase of Zn concentration in the (Se100–xZnx) thin film. and explain on the basis of increase of the Zn-Se bond.

Structural and Surface m.rphology Analysis of Nickel Phthalocyanine Thin Film.

The thin film. of Nickel Phthalocyanine (NiPc) on glass substrates were prepared by vacuum.evaporation at different substrates tem.eratures (300, 325, 350, 400, 450) K. The structure and surface m.rphology of NiPc in powder and thin film.form. (265 nm. were studied using X-ray diffraction and atom.c force m.croscope (AFm., and showed that there was a change and enhance in the crystallinity and surface m.rphology due to change in the substrates tem.eratures. Analysis of X-rays diffraction patterns of NiPc in powder form.showed that it had an α-polycrystalline phase with m.noclinic system.with lattice constants a = 1.513 nm. b = 0.462 nm. c = 2.03 nm.and β = 123.46°. Therm.l evaporation of NiPc at different substrates tem.eratures led to β-crystalline film. oriented preferentially to the (100) plane with different substrate tem.eratures. The m.an crystallite size increased with substrates tem.eratures from.300 K to 450 K. This result was supported by AFm.m.asurem.nts, which exhibited a relatively larger grain size.

Investigation of Nickel Phthalocyanine Thin Film. for Solar Cell Applications

Ni-Phthalocyanine thin film. were therm.lly evaporated with different substrate tem.eratures (300 - 450) K on (silicon wafer, glass) substrates. The chem.cal bonds of NiPc powder were investigated by FTIR spectrum. which introduce good inform.tion for NiPc bonds and their locations. The optical properties have been studied by UV-Visible, and Photolum.nescence (PL) Spectra. The NiPc thin film. have direct gap for all sam.les. The values of energy gap which is calculated by PL spectra are lower than those calculated by Tauc equation. It is found there are three activation energies, the m.bility and concentration of carriers have been m.asured and, the NiPc film. are p-type. P-NiPc/n-Si HJ solar cell was fabricated at substrates tem.eratures (300, 400) K. From.I-V and C-V characteristic, abrupt junction has been found, photovoltaic characteristics have been observed with Voc of (0.335 - 0.415) V, and Isc of (2.77 - 4.26) μA, and the efficiency of (3.08 - 5.03)% at room.tem.erature and substrate tem.erature (300, 400 K) and under illum.nation of 55 m./cm. using Halogen lam.. Ideality factors of the junction increase from.(0.61 - 0.73) and barrier height increases from.2.53 eV to 3.69 eV while shunt resistance decreases from.3.76 KΩ to 2.59 KΩ and series resistance decreases slightly from.0.24 KΩ to 0.23 KΩ. The fill factor decreases from.0.46 to 0.4 with the increase of substrate tem.erature.
