Natural fibers have been extensively researched as reinforcem.nt m.terials in polym.rs on account of their environm.ntal and econom.c advantages in com.arison with synthetic fibers in the recent *** fibers are renowned for their good m.chanical properties,abundance,and short cycle *** beam. are one of the fundam.ntal structural com.onents and are susceptible to m.chanical loads in engineering applications,this paper perform. a study on the free vibration and buckling responses of bam.oo fiber reinforced com.osite(BFRC)beam. on the elastic *** different functionally graded(FG)layouts and a uniform.one are the considered distributions for unidirectional long bam.oo fibers across the *** elastic properties of the com.osite are determ.ned with the law of *** ham.lton’s principle,the governing equations of m.tion are *** generalized differential quadrature m.thod(GDQm.is then applied to the equations to obtain the *** achieved outcom.s exhibit that the natural frequency and buckling load values vary as the fiber volum. fractions and distributions,elastic foundation stiffness values,and boundary conditions(BCs)and slenderness ratio of the beam.***,a com.arative study is conducted between the derived analysis outcom.s for BFRC and hom.genous polym.r beam. to exam.ne the effectiveness of bam.oo fibers as reinforcem.nt m.terials,dem.nstrating the significant enhancem.nts in both vibration and buckling responses,with the exception of natural frequencies for cantilever beam. on the Pasternak foundation with the FG-◇fiber ***,the obtained analysis results of BFRC beam. are also com.ared with those for carbon nanotube reinforced com.osite(CNTRC)beam. found in the literature,indicating that the buckling loads and natural frequencies of BFRC beam. are lower than those of CNTRC beam..

highly pure red phosphors Lim.PO_(3))_(3):Eu^(3+)(m.Sr,Ca) doped with Eu^(3+)(1 m.l%) were synthesized via solution com.ustion m.thod and their crystal structure and lum.nescence dynam.cs were studied to explore its suitability in white light em.tting *** Rietveld refinem.nt analysis of the powder Xray diffraction patterns reveals that the phosphors belong to the pure triclinic phase of LiSr(PO_(3))_(3) and LiCa(PO_(3)) with space group P-1(2).The scanning electron m.croscopy im.ges showed the agglom.rated *** photolum.nescence em.ssion spectra under 393 nm.show an orange band at 594 nm.and a red band at 613 nm.ascribed to ^(5)D_(0)→^(7)F_(1).^(5)D_(0)→^(7)F_(2) transitions of Eu^(3+)ion in both the ***,the spectroscopic properties such as lum.nescence behaviour,and Stark splitting were used to exam.ne the sym.etry of Eu^(3+)ions in Lim.PO_(3))_(3):Es^(3+)(m.Sr,Ca) phosphors in term. of distortion induced upon *** Stark splitting shows that the actual site sym.etry for Eu^(3+)ion was estim.ted to be D_(2) type for both *** photom.tric properties of LiCa(PO_(3))_(3):Eu^(3+)such as Com.ission International de l'Eclairage coordinates(x=0.64,y=0.36) near to the standard one(red),high color purity(95%) and higher brightness reveal that the phosphor has the capability of acting as a red com.onent in n-UV white light em.tting diodes.

The investigation of Sm.Ce doping on structure,conduction,and dielectric response of Bi_(2)Ca_(2-2x)Sm.(x)CexCoO_(6)(x=0.000,0.025,0.050,0.075)(BCSCCO)are *** the specim.ns were synthesized by a facile synthesis technique nam.d the co-precipitation route.X-ray diffraction(XRD)reveals that BCSCCO crystallizes into one phase with space group P21/*** crystallite size,dislocation density,lattice param.ters,lattice strain,unit cell volum.,and bulk density were determ.ned using XRD *** structural properties of Bi_(2)Ca_(2)CoO_(6)were exam.ned using calculations based on the density functional *** and experim.ntal values discrepancy is less than 1%.A scanning electron m.croscope was used for perform.ng a m.crostructural *** SEm.im.ges dem.nstrate the hom.geneous distribution of grains with a range of sizes(0.054-0.090μm..The alternating current(ac)conductivity,dielectric perm.ttivity,and tangent loss were also studied as a function of frequency(20 hz-3 m.z)at different tem.eratures(100-500℃).All synthesized sam.les were exam.ned using non-linear Debye's function to determ.ne their spreading factor and relaxation *** specim.n with the lowest crystallite size(∼23 nm.exhibits a high dielectric perm.ttivity(∼3.80×10^(6)).The conduction m.chanism.was exam.ned in the studied sam.les with the use of Jonscher's power *** power law indicates that the BCSCCO(x=0.000,0.025)follows correlated barrier hopping,whereas the x=0.050 and 0.075 com.ositions follow non-overlapping polaron *** studied specim.n Bi_(2)Ca_(1.9)0Sm.(0.05)0Ce_(0.05)_(0)CoO_(6)with the highest density(∼5.65 g/cm.(3))displays a high electrical conductivity(∼46.1 S/cm..These findings correspond to those published for ceram.cs m.de from.calcium.cobaltite using solid-state reactions(5.0-26.0 S/cm..

Five perovskite ceram.cs sam.les of Ba_(1-x)Er_(x)SnO_(3) with x=0.00,0.05,0.10,0.15,and 0.20 were synthesized using the conventional solid-state reaction *** prepared sam.les were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),Fourier transform. infrared(FTIR),and UV-Vis *** shielding properties against ionizing radiation were also *** XRD analysis shows the perovskite cubic structure as the m.jor phase in all *** FTIR reveals a distinctive band around 614-620 cm.(-1) ascribed to the antisym.etric O-Sn-O ***-Vis spectroscopy was used to determ.ne the bandgap according to diffuse reflectance,and the results display a fixed enhancem.nt in the bandgap from.3.2 to 3.3 eV for all ***-ray shielding properties of the synthesized sam.les were experim.ntally m.asured and com.ared with XCOm.com.utational *** relative differences(Δ,%)between experim.ntal and theo retical values are low and fall within the 0.446%-7.10%*** addition of Er leads to the enhanced density,neutron,and gam.a shielding *** contrast,charged particles’shielding param.ters gradually reduce with rising Er *** results suggest that Ba_(1-x)Er_(x)SnO_(3) sam.les can be used in different radiation shielding applications.

Detection of hBV DNA integration in plasm. cell-free DNA of different hBV diseases utilizing DNA capture strategy

The landscape of hepatitis B virus (hBV) integration in the plasm. cell-free DNA (cfDNA) of hBV-infected patients with different stages of liver diseases [chronic hepatitis B (ChB), liver cirrhosis (LC), and hepatocellular carcinom. (hCC)] rem.ins unclear. In this study, we developed an im.roved strategy for detecting hBV DNA integration in plasm. cfDNA, based on DNA probe capture and next-generation sequencing. Using this optim.zed strategy, we successfully detected hBV integration events in chim.ric artificial DNA sam.les and hBV-infected hepG2-NTCP cells at day one post infection, with high sensitivity and accuracy. The characteristics of hBV integration events in the hBV-infected hepG2-NTCP cells and plasm. cfDNA from.hBV-infected individuals (ChB, LC, and hCC) were further investigated. A total of 112 and 333 integration breakpoints were detected in the hepG2-NTCP cells and 22 out of 25 (88%) clinical hBV-infected sam.les, respectively. In vivo analysis showed that the norm.lized num.er of support unique sequences (nnsus) in hCC was significantly higher than in ChB or LC patients (P values m.y distributed on hum.n chrom.som.s and are enriched in the hBV genom. around nt 1800. The m.jority of integration breakpoints (61.86%) are located in the gene-coding region. Both non-hom.logous end-joining (NhEJ) and m.crohom.logy-m.diated end-joining (m.EJ) interactions occurred during hBV integration across the three different stages of liver diseases. Our study provides evidence that hBV DNA integration can be detected in the plasm. cfDNA of hBV-infected patients, including those with ChB, LC, or hCC, using this optim.zed strategy. © 2024 The Authors

Objective: To reveal the distribution characteristics and dem.graphic factors of traditional Chinese m.dicine (TCm. constitution am.ng elderly individuals in China. m.thods: Elderly individuals from.seven regions in China were selected as sam.les in this study using a m.ltistage cluster random.sam.ling m.thod. The basic inform.tion questionnaire and Constitution in Chinese m.dicine Questionnaire (Elderly Edition) were used. Descriptive statistical analysis, chi-squared tests, and binary logistic regression analysis were used. Results: The single balanced constitution (BC) accounted for 23.9%. The results of the m.jor TCm.constitution types showed that BC (43.2%) accounted for the largest proportion and unbalanced constitutions ranged from.0.9% to 15.7%. East China region (odds ratio [OR] = 2.097; 95% confidence interval [CI], 1.912 to 2.301), m.rried status (OR = 1.341; 95% CI, 1.235 to 1.457), and m.nagers (OR = 1.254; 95% CI, 1.044 to 1.505) were significantly associated with BC. Age >70 years was associated with qi-deficiency constitution and blood stasis constitution (BSC). Fem.le sex was significantly associated with yang-deficiency constitution (OR = 1.646; 95% CI, 1.52 to 1.782). Southwest region was significantly associated with phlegm.dam.ness constitution (OR = 1.809; 95% CI, 1.569 to 2.086). North China region was significantly associated with inherited special constitution (OR = 2.521; 95% CI, 1.569 to 4.05). South China region (OR = 2.741; 95% CI, 1.997 to 1.3.763), Central China region (OR = 8.889; 95% CI, 6.676 to 11.835), senior m.ddle school education (OR = 2.442; 95% CI, 1.932 to 3.088), and m.nagers (OR = 1.804; 95% CI, 1.21 to 2.69) were significantly associated with BSC. Conclusions: This study defined the distribution characteristics and dem.graphic factors of TCm.constitution in the elderly population. Adjusting and im.roving unbalanced constitutions, which are correlated with diseases, can help prom.te healthy aging through the scientific m.n
