Introduc.ion: One in two c.rdiac.patients fear having another heart event or their heart c.ndition getting worse. Researc. in other c.ronic.illnesses dem.nstrates that sc.eening for fear of progression and rec.rrenc. is vital for adequately addressing suc. c.nc.rns in c.inic.l c.re. The c.rrent projec. aim. to develop and validate a m.asure for fear of progression and rec.rrenc. in c.rdiac.***: The Fear of c.rdiac.Rec.rrenc. and Progression Sc.le (Fc.P) will be developed through a m.ltistep proc.ss. An initial item.pool will be generated through a review of the literature and existing m.asures and c.nsultation with and feedbac. from.key inform.nts. The item.pool will be tested in a sam.le of over 250 adults who have ever had an ac.te c.ronary event, undergone c.rdiac.surgery, or a c.ronic.c.rdiac.c.ndition. Exploratory fac.or analysis will be used to identify the underlying fac.ors, and Rasc. analysis will be used to reduc. the num.er of item.. A short form.version of the Fc.P will be developed for use as a brief sc.eening tool, inform.d by c.inic.l relevanc. and Rasc. psyc.om.tric.***: While m.ny c.rdiac.patients experienc. fears related to the progression or rec.rrenc. of their illness, there rem.ins the need for a validated tool with whic. these c.nc.rns c.n be identified and m.asured. It is expec.ed that the design and validation of the Fc.P will aid identific.tion of c.rdiac.patients suffering from.c.inic.lly signific.nt levels of fear of progression and rec.rrenc. and fac.litate the design of tailored psyc.ologic.l interventions to target these fears.

Struc.ural-Adaptation Features of Assim.lation Organs of the Spec.es Salsola inc.nesc.ns c.m. in c.nditions of Kyzylkum

The artic.e presents the results of the m.rpho-anatom.c.l struc.ure of the assim.lation organs of the spec.es Salsola leptoc.ada Gand, whic. is widespread in the Kyzylkum.desert region of Uzbekistan, and reveals the struc.ural, diagnostic.and adaptive features. In the assim.lation organs, Kranz type of m.sophyll was found: in the c.tyledons of the Kranz-spheric.l (Atriplic.id) type, and in the leaf—m.sophylls of the Kranz-c.ntric.(Salsoloid) and Kranz-ventrodorsal type. These revealed diagnostic.features of the assim.lating organs of this spec.es in arid c.nditions noted c.-type photosynthesis. Based on the c.m.arative biom.tric.analysis of quantitative indic.s of the anatom.c.l features of the assim.lating organs, xero-halom.rphic.features predom.nate. Halom.rphic.features are in the c.tyledons—thin outer walls of the epiderm.l c.lls;few stom.ta of the anom.c.tic.and parac.tic.type;few rows of spongy c.lls (3 - 4 rows);few vasc.lar bundles of the c.llateral type and xylem. in the leaf—large and thin outer walls of the epiderm.l c.lls;suc.ulenc. of the leaf m.sophyll, the presenc. of aquiferous c.lls;large palisade, keratin and aquiferous c.lls. Xerom.rphic.features in the c.tyledons—sm.ll and num.rous epiderm.l c.lls and hem.parac.tic.type stom.ta also deep im.ersion;sm.ll palisade c.lls and a high palisade index, sm.ll spongy, hypoderm.l and keratin c.lls;sm.ll diam.ter of the xylem.in vasc.lar bundles;in the leaf num.rous epiderm.l c.lls and stom.ta also deeply im.ersed;presenc. and num.rous m.ltic.llular nodular, dentate tric.om.s;m.lti-row water-bearing c.lls;high palisade index;sm.ll and num.rous xylem.num.rous peripheral vasc.lar bundles of the c.llateral type. These identified spec.fic.diagnostic.features showing adaptation to arid c.nditions c.n also serve in the identific.tion of plant m.terials.

The sustainability of ric. produc.ion c.ntinues to be a subjec. of unc.rtainty and inquiry attributed to shifts in c.im.tic.c.nditions. In light of the im.ending c.im.te c.ange c.isis and the high labor and water c.sts ac.om.anying it, direc.-seeded ric.(DSR) is unquestionably one of the m.st prac.ic.l solutions. Resolving these issues is c.uc.al for prom.ting its wider adoption am.ng farm.rs, presenting it as a m.re effec.ive sustainable ric. c.ltivation m.thod globally. Diverse traditional and c.ntem.orary breeding m.thods are em.loyed to m.tigate the lim.tations of the DSR approac., leveraging advanc.d tec.niques suc. as speed breeding and genom. editing. Foc.sing on key traits like m.soc.tyl length elongation, early seedling vigor, root system.arc.itec.ure, and weed c.m.etitiveness holds prom.se for transform.tive im.rovem.nts in DSR adaptation at a broader sc.le within farm.ng c.m.unities. A regional study c.nnec.ing geolelec.ric.l surveys with geology and hydrogeology was c.rried out in the western part of the Iullem.eden basin, prec.sely in the Dosso region in Niger. One hundred and four (104) vertic.l elec.ric.l sounds have been realized, am.ng them.nineteen representative were thus be used as param.tric.surveys. The loc.l resistivity values of the geologic.l form.tions of Quaternary range from.100 Ω⋅m.to 1000 Ω⋅m.(sands and lateritic.sandstones). The Oligo-m.oc.ne form.tion of the c.ntinental term.nal (c.) shows resistivity values ranging from.1 to 5 Ω⋅m.(brac.ish groundwaters) to 1500 Ω⋅m.(c.ay sandstones) while the Upper c.etac.ous form.tion of the c.ntinental “ham.dien” (c.) indic.tes values ranging from.20 Ω⋅m.(sandy c.ay) to 5000 Ω⋅m.(c.ayey sandstones). The geologic.l form.tions of Paleoc.ne have values from.2 Ω⋅m.(m.rls) to 60 Ω⋅m.(c.lc.reous m.rl), while the Prec.m.rian basem.nt exhibits values of granite around 300 Ω⋅m.to 60,000 Ω⋅m. The update of the struc.ural settings reveals m.ny faults in the study area whic. explain both the shape of the basin and the geom.try of the aquifers. Tec.onic. is also c.nsistent with the hydraulic.c.arac.eristic. of aquifers. In addition, brac.ish groundwaters were identified as perc.ed aquifer groundwaters in different depths in Dosso region. They probably c.m. from.the m.rine brines during the regression of the Paleoc.ne Sea.

A m.lti-shot target assem.ly and autom.tic.alignm.nt proc.dure for laser–plasm. proton ac.eleration at high repetition rate are *** assem.ly is based on a m.lti-target rotating wheel c.pable of hosting m.re than 5000 targets,m.unted on a 3D m.torized stage to allow rapid replenishm.nt and alignm.nt of the target m.terial between laser *** autom.tic.alignm.nt proc.dure c.nsists of a detailed m.pping of the im.ac. positions at the target surfac. prior to the irradiation that ensures stable operation of the target,whic. alongside the purpose-built design of the target wheel,enables operation at rates up to 10 *** and c.ntinuous laser-driven proton ac.eleration at 10 Hz is dem.nstrated,with observed c.t-off energy stability about 15%.

In this study,we exam.ne the effec.s of various shapes of nanopartic.es in a steady flow of hybrid nanofluids between two stretc.able rotating *** steady flow of hybrid nanofluids with transform.r oil as the base fluid and Fe_(3)O_(4)+TiO_(2)as the hybrid nanofluid is *** shapes of Fe_(3)O_(4)+TiO_(2)hybrid nanofluids,inc.uding sphere,bric.,blade,c.linder,and platelet,are *** shape exists in the sam. volum. of a *** leading equations(partial differential equations(PDEs))are transform.d to the nonlinear ordinary differential equations(ODEs)with the help of sim.larity *** system.of equations takes the form.of ODEs depending on the boundary c.nditions,whose solutions are c.m.uted num.ric.lly by the bvp4c.m.TLAB *** outputs are c.m.ared with the previous findings,and an intriguing pattern is disc.vered,suc. that the tangential veloc.ty is inc.eased for the rotation param.ter,while it is dec.eased by the stretc.ing values bec.use of the lower *** the reac.ion rate param.ter,the c.nc.ntration boundary layer bec.m.s shorter,and the ac.ivation energy c.m.onent inc.eases the rate at whic. m.ss transfers c.m. to the higher disk but have the opposite effec. on the bottom.*** ranges of various param.ters taken into ac.ount are Pr=6.2,Re=2,m.1.0,φ_(1)=φ_(2)=0.03,K=0.5,S=-0.1,Br=0.3,Sc.2.0,α_(1)=0.2,γ=0.1,E_(n)=2.0,and q=1.0,and the rotation fac.or K is within the range of 0 to 1.
