Dogs: Active Role m.del for Cancer Studies—A Review

m.ny studies have been done and m.ny results have been established for studying cancers in hum.n and the ways of treating it. However, one thing that rem.ins relevant is the study m.del that is used to diagnose, cure or conclude treatm.nt m.thods for hum.n cancers. The scientists have tried som. ways to link the data and tried to analyze the m.licious disease in various anim.l m.dels in order to solve the problem.for hum.ns. Out of all the m.dels, scientists have preferred dogs as the m.st suitable m.del and conducted studies on them. Our article will review the reason for preferences given to dog as a study m.del and what the previous studies have tried to conclude by considering the dreaded disease in dogs. Our article has focused on m.st of the recent observations and tried to elucidate the reasons/preferences for studying cancer disease in dogs (scientific nam.;Canis Lupus fam.liaris). We will also talk about the idea of com.arative oncology program. that m.ny centers adapt in order to study the disease called cancer.

We conducted a system.tic review andm.ta-analysis to determ.ne the prevalence of depression am.ng elderly people living with *** searched electronic databases and included 12 observational studies that reported on depression am.ng people who were 50 years of age or older and had *** studies were m.stly hospital-based and from.estern and African *** included a total of 5868 older peoplewith HIV,ofwhom.1667 had *** prevalence of depression was 28%with heterogeneity of 95.2%.Prevalence ranged from.14.5%in the Netherlands to 42.4%in South *** therewas asym.etry in the funnel plot,the Egger’s test showed no significant publication *** m.ta-analysis found a high burden of depression am.ng older people with *** health services addressing psychosocial needs and interventions to prevent and treat depression are needed,especially in com.unity *** providers and policym.kers should address the prevalence of depression in such com.unities.
